My friends sisters cousins boyfriends dog sitter just got back from the swampy region in Antartica, and you'll never guess what he brought back! A 15 inch widescreen iPhone which runs windows mobile! Other than that, it quad boots from those two monsters, to run the psp platform, linux, windowsVista, and atari! PLUS THATS NOT ALL!!! Its powered by a hampster in a wheel which come with a custom water bottle (for more SPEED)!!! And just when I thought it couldnt get any better, THERE WAS MORE!!!! When you hit the red button located on the atari screen, your able to use it as a can opener, screw driver, and hair drier! Plus we just downloaded a freeware program which unlocked the MICROWAVE & TOASTER OVEN FUNCTION! This thing is also equipped wth 22 inch Giovani spinners and two kenwood 12inch subs. Its also a good babysitter for those long nights out! Im no tech, but Ill post pics in 3564 years! Keep asking thou, I may do it tomorrow when I get off work from the multi million dollar company I own called Microsoft! By the way Can some one please tell me how to get coverflow to work with s2p while still having the artists listed as seperat folders?

Im not disagreeing with the mods. This guy should have been banned. But I dont disagree with vogue_trip either. I mean look at it. This guy made up a post that everyone knew was fake. Apparently used three screen names to do it, and its still not closed. Its pulled alot of time away from peoples threads that were serious. XDA is by far the best sight around. Anyone with a PPC comes here for every answer there is. The guy who started all of this is a joke and in my opinion doesnt deserve the benefits from this amazing sight. I noticed he was doing similar things @ ppcgeeks as well. So I dont disagree with this guys frustration but h went about it all wrong. So Im sticking with my opinion, 2 posts or a milliion. They all need ban. They dont deserve the excellent services on this site.

ok dash the co-founder from spj. dont know why you have to start beef at other places and many of the users over there are from here or ppcgeeks and no one else has the troubles or complaints that you address. the roms arent from xda since they are mainly gsm providers and they are from ppcgeeks and all credit is given to the authors and a post to the thread is linked as well. we also have many spj made roms there so i dont know what you are trying to get at. but anyways you kept private messaging staff, posting that rom question in the release areas even though your questions was not clearly a release, you got mad if your question wasnt answered 3 minutes after you posted, and much more. all you did was wine and cry and even made a thread trying to act like a tough guy. im not going to say anything mean back to you since you are playing childish games trying to get attention from people. i wish you the best of luck in your endevours with modding your ppc to its fullest. good luck

New roms vs original

Hello,
I've been looking around at all the roms etc and their change logs. They look like big improvements, so I updated to CM stable (worked fine, a little bit slow now and then) now I'm using the latest one which is meant to be the fastest but I find it hangs a lot, and is slow quite often.
Is anyone seeing this or is it just my phone.
I also have a question, when I shake my phone I can hear this ratteling sound, is that normal? my phone isn't new

To the OP: You might wanna try wiping your phone and maybe repartitioning your SD, see if any apk's your using have known conflicts with Cyan roms. Can you tell where the rattling is coming from? Also your phone is still under HTC warranty so you might be able to get them to fix it, just gotta pay shipping. Also if your on tmobile they might even do it for you for free.

Please! Need Some advice/help/...

...i think i made a mistake getting this crap. guys this phone suks. now as i saw some guys are using custom roms etc etc. please post those files or link them to me so i can download. please give the ones that are new and works. i only need English ones. this is such a crap phone. i talked about it with htc support, and they asked me serial number, gave it, told me its from UAE so transferred my query to UAE support, they said me to download Arabic rom, and that was when i gave up and cursed the living **** outa them cuz i dot know Arabic and i never asked for Arabic versions. i bought it over 5800xm but now i think i should have bought Nokia :/. i hate this phone. nothing useful in it! sms app hangs, start up time is f'in crazy this and that cant even begin to tell the problems in it. My friend got it from UAE for me. i live in Pakistan. man this phones suks a**. well if not phone at least the software does! i am quite fed up with this. no games, nothing! yes it has some powers over 5800xm, but 5800xm makes up for it in many ways and so i love it. and any skins for win media player? cant find anywhere... please guys can you post them to me? everything to make my life easier with this machine? i got to know this website after i searched htc on Google. so finally after sometime when this pda started making my life hell i thought to join this forum and get expert help.

To be honest mate, nobody is going to offer you much help if you come on here spouting rubbish and criticising the device. The Mega is avery good device, as good as anything out there for similar money. There are areas of this forum dedicated to updating the ROM, so have a loook on there. The updates are nearly all superficial, just changing the appearance a bit and removing some unwanted apps that some people believe make the device run slower, although I have found no noticeable difference. CHeck out the ROM Development section. You need to do the HARD SPL stuff to unlock your device, then choose one of the ROMS and install it.
This reply started of as a moan at you for your attitude, but has unintentionally turned into some advice you wanted. We are all users and purchasers of this device, not the manufacturers. A bit of politeness and manners will get you a lot more assistance than the arrogant aggressive attitude you started with.

I agree with TangerineTractor, you come in here, moaning the phone is s**t, dont bother looking in the section marked "ROM Development" and expect other people to point you exactly where to go??? We arent gonna hold your hand and show you around the damn forums. Dont be so lazy.
As for critisizing the phone, you dont like it? splash out more cash and get a different phone. We dont care if you like it or not and dont want your life story.

Dude, the new roms wont change your opninion on the phone for sure, they are just vision. You dont like it - sell it and buy another one. But to compare it with 5800 hahahaha that made me laugh, Nokia and Symbian is the biggest sh*t out there imo.

B) No, we are NOT here to guide you, people will offer advice when it is requested in a courteous manner. You do not come here EXPECTING people to be gracious and polite when you start a topic in the way you did.

No, no one wants you to make a video about this 'crap' phone.
Pretty much everyone in this forum section has purchased this phone, so when you start saying how rubbish it is and how much you regret buying it - people will, quite fairly, get annoyed with you.
"Coming and acting all superior and bashing [you]" I would say is a more than fair way to greet you - as it isn't half as offensive as the way you greeted everyone else.

I'm personally using the device since month's and am satisfied with it.
Maybe you should specify what sucks, whats bashing etc.
So far I was using all kind of versions from Nokia, but what the Mega is offering to the user was NEVER reached by any Nokia device
