Hello,
I've been looking around at all the roms etc and their change logs. They look like big improvements, so I updated to CM stable (worked fine, a little bit slow now and then) now I'm using the latest one which is meant to be the fastest but I find it hangs a lot, and is slow quite often.
Is anyone seeing this or is it just my phone.
I also have a question, when I shake my phone I can hear this ratteling sound, is that normal? my phone isn't new

Well I bought it used, and I only hear it sometimes like if i move it in a certain direction then it stops.

and i do have lots of friends made over . esp from playing sports. and i just got back from ufc 103 party hosted by lacrosse team member. just saying. maybe u need to brush up on things...and look at ur thread post...u posted a lot of useless threads.
In his defense it's pretty much common sense that if something is rattling when it didn't used to rattle it's most like not a good thing.

To the OP: You might wanna try wiping your phone and maybe repartitioning your SD, see if any apk's your using have known conflicts with Cyan roms. Can you tell where the rattling is coming from? Also your phone is still under HTC warranty so you might be able to get them to fix it, just gotta pay shipping. Also if your on tmobile they might even do it for you for free.

actually like one person said. its common sense to think something is wrong if something didnt rattle before but rattles now. so therefore it was a stupid question.

I created an account to ask them a simple question and they made such a big deal of it like they dont have any answers just attiude. I ask a question that maybe everyone know but I didnt, I asked ( can you put a touch pro rom on the wing). OK maybe its a dumb question but I didnt Know the answer. Do you know the threated and made such laughs out of that question that I never got an answer (I assumed no). I sent a reply about all the laughs and (I struck a nerve).

ok dash the co-founder from spj. dont know why you have to start beef at other places and many of the users over there are from here or ppcgeeks and no one else has the troubles or complaints that you address. the roms arent from xda since they are mainly gsm providers and they are from ppcgeeks and all credit is given to the authors and a post to the thread is linked as well. we also have many spj made roms there so i dont know what you are trying to get at. but anyways you kept private messaging staff, posting that rom question in the release areas even though your questions was not clearly a release, you got mad if your question wasnt answered 3 minutes after you posted, and much more. all you did was wine and cry and even made a thread trying to act like a tough guy. im not going to say anything mean back to you since you are playing childish games trying to get attention from people. i wish you the best of luck in your endevours with modding your ppc to its fullest. good luck

I'd like to congratulate Darchstar on his amazing journey as a developer. I gotta give it to you man, your newest rom is just lightning fast and has everything I need and a huge improvement from your very first one. I honestly think you make the best roms on this forum (especially in comparison to pieces of crap like PureHero) Once again grats, but there is just one thing that bugs me:
Youtube and Movies - I don't know what it is about youtube but I have frequent problems with it very frequently unless I'm on the official HTC published rom. What happens is every time I click a video, I can hear the audio but no video. On one of Darch's older roms, I was able to view the video by hitting "Watch in HQ" (it just wouldn't play in normal quality), but now I can't do either, it's just audio. The same thing is happening to me when I try to play a movie, I get the audio but no video. Again I'm not sure if I'm the only person that's experiencing this, but if it isn't I think it's high time it be fixed seeing how Video is a big part of the phone.
Please continue to make and improve your roms man!

Why is this the least moderated part of xda if i may ask? Thats the point i was trying to make in another thread. You have people saying and doing whatever they want on here. People creating other names after being banned, flaming, accusing. I mean it's like a police state without any police.
I legitimately hate PureHero with a passion. I had it for a week and it crashed every single time I used the phone. Since I had finals going on, I couldn't change firmware till now and it was annoying as ****. I'm sorry, but I just had to express my discontent in some way as in I had to get it out. Seriously, that rom needs some work, but I'm sorry I guess I shouldnt have done that Anyway, about my main issue with the movies/youtube anyone else experiencing these problems?
Have you even read the Darchdroid 2.6 thread or just the first post? Youtube is a known issue. Why trash another developers roms there learning as they go...some people may like his rom.

It's not even that though, they close and delete threads that are just conversations and are not harmful in any way, but then they happen to miss threads that actually get out of hand... i'm not bashing any mods or anything, but come on guys!

Yes i can understand it but instead of posting this thread why not pm the dev who created the rom for help. All this thread does is add to the stress of the community.
Is it possible? Theunlockr gives a link to download 1.29 but since so many on here are trying to root 2.1 I'm guessing it's not possible.

Not possible. You will get an error that says something to the tune of image is older and the RUU will abort.

No it is not possible. You will have yo wait till someone roots the 2.1 release. Next time do a search before posting.

You can not root 2.1 and the phone will not allow you to downgrade the hboot so you can not go back from 2.1
There is a thread in the dev forum. A couple people are trying to find a work around to either downgrade or just a plain old exploit to gain root. Keep a look out for it.

In my field thats a form of Subordination. I have modded for many years and ran my own forums, if i was a Mod/Admin here i would see it like that... But honestly, dude im not busting your chops regardless i was just pointing out a simple rule which wasnt directly or indirectly pointed at you. You talk about feelings running high here well everyone at one point or another was a newbie so since my feelings are now directly involved at this point i feel that yes... Some of the comments here that i have seen especially to newbies are complete irate, irrational and overall douche like.

I don't think it was the "No. Not possible." part that was the issue, it was the "Done. Mods close thread." part that was a bit rude. It came off that way to me anyways. A simple "Not possible" would have sufficed.

My feelings were never hurt because I understand how some people do not have lives and just go from post to post being assholes to strangers on the internet to make up for their non-existent social life in the real world. As far as it being a stupid question, sorry that I did not perform a search. I looked at the posts from the first two pages in this forum and didn’t see anything. Either way, have a nice day. everyday there is some sort of new complaint about this phone. my question is, why do you still have it? get rid of the d*mn phone if you cant stand it. nobody is holding a gun to your head to use the phone. im not saying most arent justifiable but at this rate you are better of switching to samsung or motorola. i'm happy with this phone and ive been waiting for a phone like this since the g1 and it was worth the wait.
no phone company will ever make a perfect phone. if the do then what the hell are they supposed to make or add on when they come out with another phone. get rid of the phone or stick with it and stop your b*tching. im sorry people but its getting annoying and over the top.
and for those thinking of buying the phone. use those 14-30 days trial period and try the phone out yourself instead of listening to all this whining about how terrible the phone is. save your d*mn whining for your facebook and twitter friends. lets get serious again with this website.

They have nothing better to do. I assure you that if these people actually did something during the day, they wouldn't have the time to write up 20 page letters to HTC about the hinge.

lol i can live with that. that hinge problem is really blown over the top. mine has is but it only happens when i mess with it. as annoying as this is, im pretty sure that the android modders dont mind a little challenge considering how easily other android phones have fallen under their rooting hands. only a matter of time
