Thnx m8,I'll try it asap!!!
Edit: Nice one cel15,but it is more than an advanced image-editing tool and not a common filebrowser with intergrated thubnail-preview for images (and videos).Nice one though, still much useful !!!

Ok, there's also another option...

File explorer extension enables a "photo preview" with the regular Explorer for pocket Pc..
Now i'm out of responses!

You never were...!!!!Thank you!!!

Looking for Photo Dialer for Ultimate Launch.

I'm trying to find a today plugin that will allow me to have a panel on my UL that just has photo dial pictures.
So it really just needs to be a nice today plugin that is a photo dialer..Anyone?
what you can do is create your own link and make your own photo icon
I created the photo icons myself so that the frame matches my theme...
I also use this program called "go2contact" that allows you to open up the contact screen via command line...
thanks got go2contact to work and it brings me to the contact page so i can pick what number to dial or sms whatever...thanks
hey,
i also was looking for a photo dialer plugin and i found a plugin that was from the Treo 700w that works great on my Kaiser. It allows you to have a row of photo contacts and then also add more contacts without photos underneath if you prefer. for more information and to download the plugin go to

Put it will be 3 tab to 5 contacts.
why dont you al make a fotodialer tab just with ul ? you just need the makecall.exe from daniel who created UL:
www.ultimatelaunch.de. you find it on the left side. its a a part of "smartutilities". put it on your phone make under command a link to that. under "params" you just write the phonenumber. thats it, and so easy.
this is one is good

I still haven't found one that does exactly what I want... i'm going to attempt to make my own using UL author's Smartapps dialer app... Course with that, I have to make my own ICO files... time to take some photos of people.

This is a bit of a digress... any such utility to create short cut for SMS? Now I'm using Mort Button. But I like how UL works. Would prefer not to 'launch' another application.

Just download the program like he said. You create your own icons, and bam, done! it works very well. I'm using it...
thanks for the dialtab program! works great for ul!
Well I decided to create my own icons.. so i used photos (photoshop elements) in .jpg format and saved them in irfanview as .ico format, but UL won't open them. Can someone tell me which icon/graphics program I can use that will convert other formats to *.ico format?

Program to open CSV Format in X1?

Guys,
Anyone know what program to be used in X1 to open file with CSV format?
Depends on what you want to use it for. If you just want to read it, use MADE. Possibly some other text editor, but I found that MADE does a good job where others couldn't.
try MS Excel mobile

Two apps I need

Hey,
my questions:
1. I love Evernote app but I just hate the fact it's just online app!
Do we have any comparable normal, offline application??
2. One thing I deeply miss on my X1 comparing to P1 also by SE,
is advanced photo/picture editor on the phone.
Do we have it available?? With working on contrast and effects....
Grateful for any replies....
Try XnView to work a little bit with your pictures.

Heh,

did you actually manage to save any changes?
I can't seem to be able to save ANY changes made to the picture.
After choosing to submit any changes the picture comes back to it's original state.
Are there any tips to do that?
You have to choose one picture, then change what you want and then you have to click "set" (don't know if it is really "set" because I'm working with the German version; if not something similar). Then the programm saves automatically a copy of the edited pic with all changes. You should just click really through all the options-dialogues and see what you can do there

Actually i did so ;-) and couldn't save it.
Anyway I will check it again, the app promises alot!
Ok, I got it to work!
It saves the picture when you choose to submit/set it on the second page,
where the first is the options like contrast etc,
and the second is the file type/quality choice.
Thanks again.
The app works quite nice. Can do enough with the pictures to really enhance it or completely remake it graphically.
Almost like a PC app!

Send Bluetooth from Album (Sense)

It seems impossible to send pictures via Bluetooth from the HTC Album on the HD2 (running 1.66). The option doesn't appear to be there.
I can send from Multimedia, but it's a hassle.
Is there a tweak/hack for this?
Thank you for helping!
Would like to know also as it's a major pain. Sending from Resco explorer doesn't seem to work either
Only way is to go into settings and into the bluetooth app which is a pain as the browsing functionality is non existent, also it has no ability to preview the photos before sending.

Hello
I use resco photo manager. Its superb. A million times better than HTC Album. You can send a photo via bluetooth just by holding the photo. You can resize, change format, edit, crop and many other things with the photo.

Resco Explorer utilizes bluetooth perfectly. You just need to update your copy with a more recent version.
Still looking for a tweak for this.
What where they thinking when they developed HTC Album? You can send to Facebook, MMS of mail, but no bluetooth...

Xplore file manager

Just quick headz up

the best file xplorer IMO.
How do you move a file?
Sent from my LT15i using Tapatalk
Could you give me some reasons to switch from ES to Xplore?
Didn't test any other file explorer, but I'm a big fan of Astro since I used it the first time.

I use ES, because it's highly customizable, and it has a lot of options, like FTP explore. It also has nice animations and built-in root explorer.
I used it when I had Nokia ... It's was the best .. Let me see how it works on Android

Well first on the left pane you choose any folder.
On the right one you just select whatever you want with green ticks
than hit the copy button.
(It also works other way around - choose the folder on the right side etc.)
When normally pressed - it copies files.
But long press performs move instead.
Very convinient.

Have never used ES so cannot comment.
I was Astro user but now compared to Xplore Astro's UI and concept is just clunky.
I used ASTRO, Root Explorer & ES, but after some time, I stayed with ES... it has all the functions I need and also has root support so no need for Root Explorer, it has built-in Audio/Video/Picture/Text viewer and also text editor.. plus all other advanced stuff like FTP, local server, bluetooth, online services ( box.net, dropbox & sugarsync )... so it looks like AIO solution !!
The only thing I'm missing from ASTRO is a small function that allows you to download any kind of file from browser as Android regular behavior is to not download any file that does not have an application to handle it, and I hope they add this feature
Well ok I never use FTP functionality on my phone so.....
Xplore has - almost - anything from ES plus
much better UI, double pane view and tree view which is even more functional than typical folders structure.
So for me Xplore totally rocks and it also supports Zip, has it's hex viewer too.
And supports Root on both locked and unlocked devices.
I can't edit files permission with this, so root access is unusable for me. I'll stick with Root Explorer.
Does it create zip file????
otherwise AndroZip is far good..

Hey Dom, good to see you again since the My-Symbian days!
Let's hope LCG support is better now, their support for LCG Jukebox on Symbian was dreadful.

Yeah lol. BTW did you know that Michal - MySymbian owner - got mad actually and kind of psyhically unbalanced? He threw me out from the forum just because I said Symbian is over and WP7 is great etc. It was so funny and said...
He replied to me with "**** you" but than started to modify his original post so it looked intelligent and normal
Anyway nice to see, MySymbian was so good back than. THere is also anagarika and artesea somewhere here on xda!
So enjoying SE/Android or something?
P.S.
Well LCG support is hard sometimes but yes, they support their products.
Xplore is great.
Hi Dom,
Yeah, left Symbian after the Omnia HD then got a Galaxy S. Moved on from that to the Arc S and it's superb.
Michal just didn't want to believe Symbian was dead and as you say became quite aggressive about it come the end. After saeeing how things on that forum were going I stopped visiting and came here instead.
