Please teach me how to clear item(s) in NEW Menu....
i've uninstalled the program, but the shortcut entry in NEW MENU still exist...and it's kind of annoying... :shock:
Please help me...
Take the attached prog which will make a softreset and delete the items in the new menu.

@efayes: Search your registry and you'll know... can't tell you the key off-hand.
if you mean by New Menu the one that appears in the left lower corner of today screen then you'll have to go to
Start>Settings>Menu>New Menu then choose what shortcuts you like to see in it

brother, i've tried to go to SETTINGS>MENU>NEW MENU...the key is there....
but i've uninstalled the programmre...i can set it off so that i can see in the NEW MENU...but it does exist in the settings....i just dun like it...

Kann schon sein, aber das Problem ist das ich eine nur deutsche SW habe und wie was übersetzt wurde etwas "merkwürdig" ist in der deutschen Version. Daher also meine Antwort.

PS: ein Beispiel, bei der Kameraeinstellung gibts den Begriff "Geschrei". Gemeint ist, und das ist eine Vermutung "hue" oder "tint". Also was isses ?

Dieses Cab wurde von mir erstellt, da es momentan kein deutschsprachiges WM6-Rom für den HTC Trinity gibt.

This Cab was created by me because there is no german WM6-Rom for HTC Trinity devices.

Bei LVSW ist es dabei.
- "German Input for WM6 by ZakMcRofl.cab" aufs Gerät kopieren und ausführen
- Gerät wird automatisch neugestartet
- Unter "Settings -> System -> Regional Settings" auf Germany stellen
- (optional) "German Transcriber by ZakMcRofl.cab" aufs Gerät kopieren und ausführen (braucht etwa 1 MB)
- For Roms that don't include it, sipchange has to be installed

- Device is reset automatically
- Under "Settings -> System -> Regional Settings" switch to Germany

Apparently there isn't that much interest in localized input.
I realize this has been done before by others but as far as I know nobody did it for the (german) softkeyboard.
If anyone is interested in how to do this for a different language, let me know.

This release only changes the keyboard and dictionary, not the entire Rom.
In both cases you'll need certain files from a different spanish WM6 Rom (WM5 might also work). Translating a complete Rom is a ****load of work and unless you have Rom cooking experience I would adwise against it.

I can look into it but understand that this will only be a translation of the input. Also I don't even know what kind of keyboard spain and italy has but I guess I can find out.
Maybe I'll do one other language as example and release a quick guide for others.
unfortunately it doesn't really work on my universal - the onscreen keyboard is there but it is invisible.

Really looking for a tutorial to do a French one maybe we could discuss about it ?
1) Extract CAB
2) Get the required file from a French WM6 (or emulator image)
3) Adjust registry settings I make in the CAB to your image
4) Make your own CAB
You realize this is ONLY for the input methods (transcriber, softkeyboard, dictionary), not the entire Rom.

this is a good beginning. Thank you, but for me I am searching for a german rom, because I want to write my WM5 backup back and therefor I need the same registry-sittings and indexes. Otherwise I must register all my programs twice.
Is it possible in the next future or is there no interest.

Not working for Dell Axim x51v with WM6 RTM rom

the appl. unfortunately is not working for my Dell X51v. I downloaded and installed sipchange and then the German Input file. I can select the German keyboard, but tapping on the Keyboard button does not activate a "visible" keyboard. But something seems to be there, for if i tap on the "invisible" keyboard space, for instance in "contacts", all contacts with a certain letter are chosen- I guess it must have been the letter I tapped on the certain space of this keyboard, even though I couldn't see a thing. I am not sure how to sort this, but maybe you have an idea. I read something somewhere that I have to replace a certain file in my Windows folder. Do you guys know how to solve this? Help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

I've managed it to modify it to my phone skin (black) and thought, maybe someone is happy if I share my work
Notice: Works fine on my MDA Compact 2. I have uninstalled this keyboard first. Then reinstalled it using the cab above without restarting after that. Now copy the zipped .dll into \Windows, overwrite the existing one. Soft-Reset and it works. Don't know if this way must be exactly followed.

I've found a German WM6.1 Rom assembled by animelover from ppcfreaks.de forum. I'm not sure but i think animelover get the files from bepe's polaris 6.1 rom update...
I dumped the animelover Rom and extract the german language files.

I'm not a rom-cooker, so i don't have any idea how to make a german Blue Angel Rom. My first test was to copy the outres.dll.0409.mui to my 6.1 pdaviet BA and my message center gets german
My idea is:
- Change the language settings in the registry to 0407 (German)?
- Rename german files from 0409 to 0407 and copy it to BA?
- ...?
After copy german coredll.dll my startmenu gets empty, this ist not very sucessfull...

well i think you may rename coredll.dll to coredll.dll.0407.mui and try it remember to change [HKLM\MUI] dword SysLang from HEX 1033 to HEX 1031 ("SysLang"=dword:00000407)

I've copy the coredll.dll.0409.mui with german content to my device. It changes the language of the todayscreen but also the path to \windows\startmenu. Now the default path is \windows\startmenü and this folder ist empty and i cannot start any programm or go to system settings.
I copy the content from startmenu to startmenü and my programs are back but system settings are not accessible.
I will do some more tests...
One more question:
Is it possible to dump the german rom from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=378080 to get the german language files? I've tried Molski.Biz DEVPACK but extracted files are not usable.
Where do bepe get the german 6.1 files? Is there any official german 6.1 rom available?
well most of the mui's are the same as in WM6, and some more must be translated, about the start menu items i am not sure, i have not tryed to translate the roms in any language but it will be cool to know howto

you ca take the german nothrills rom from kaiser forum it seems to have real wm 6.1 german muis.
to above: innitflash.dat needs to be edit or if you dont cook a new rom and only copy new muis to your device, a folder Startmenü with Programme and Einstellungen must exist in windows also a folder Autostart with copied files from startup folder

Ok, dumping the new 6.1 roms is not easy or i'm to stupid to do this
Both 6.1 romfiles (bepe & NoThrills) are in .nbh format. I try to convert this with nbhtool and also nbhextract. It works and i get .nb files but they cannot processed by Molski.Biz DEVPACK. On my way I get a file with "MSFLSH50" in header or imgfs_raw_data.bin with "XPR" in header but both cannot be dumped.
Any suggestions?
Now I will try to copy one and one file to my BA and see if i can change most of the programms to german. Thanks for the information about foldernames in windows directory!
Ok, let's do some cool stuff:
Create \Windows\Autostart
Create \Windows\Favoriten
Create \Windows\Schriftarten
Create \Windows\Startmenü\Einstellungen and Windows\Startmenü\Programme
Copy content from Windows\Start Menu\ in the depending german folder
Copy german shellres.dll.0409.mui to \windows folder overwriting existing file
Reboot
Now today screen should be in german and also the system settings and some menus.
To get Messaging in german language, copy outres.dll.0409.mui to \windows directory.
Hm, i think the german files from first post are not true 6.1 files, because some tabs are not translated.

2. Wenn du das Startmenü Verzeichnis so anlegst wie du es in Beitrag #7 beschrieben hast und die Datei shellres.dll.0409.mui aus dem Pack im ersten Beitrag kopierst ist zumindest der Heute-Bildschirm eingedeutscht. Identisch kannst du mit outres.dll.0409.mui für die Nachrichtenzentrale verfahren.

Well, i've done some more tests. It's not so easy to translate the whole rom into german.
After a clean rom-install i changed the mui-registry-key to 0407 and create & copy folders for Startmenü, Programme, Einstellungen and Autostart. Then i copy german shellres and restart.
Most of the Today-screen ist now german. Changing the Locale in system settings to german and for 24h clock format change the time format to HH:mm:ss.
First problem: The translation for month "march" ist set to "Mrz", i think german special characters are missing?
I will do some more tests.
This will be a never ending story...

Hast du die Dateien umbenannt in x409x (und überschreiben) oder so belassen und nur die Registry geändert?

Did you rename the files to x409x (to overwrite the old ones) or did you change the registry?
Both methods will work on pdaviet rom. You can change the mui registry setting an leave the 0407 or rename the files to 0409 and overwrite the english version.
I try this on xplodes rom but this will not work. if you replace shellres with german file, my BA will stop booting with a "pling"-sound in startup-screen.
Now my plan is: use xplodes rom in english and wait for official german files from microsoft. they released 6.1 englisch emulator rom on april 1st, other language will come soon (i hope)...
I think the current language files are not signed and so they will be rejected by xplodes rom?!...

Okay. That's what I tried and my BA and it hang up like yours.
Some files are replaceable, some not.

Now hello people, I simply opens sometimes nen new subject, because I really in despair am. So I begin at the beginning sometimes. I wanted to me how I have already written in the other Tread, the m amine 2.0 flashen. If this has also acted like in the instructions described. So HrdSPL has folded everything. Only when I wanted then Rome Flashen, nothing has happened and I had my normal O2 Rome on it again. Then ahbe I the shaking it tries out where I had then the problem which I had no more receipt what I wanted to repair by another radio Rome. If everything has used, however, nothing. Now I have downloaded to me \ " 3LIT3 \ " IV Rome. everything is also quite good so far, only everything is there, unfortunately, on in English and I have Tom Tom 7 where my old maps do not go any more. When I now tried ahe, over again the m amine 2.0 to flashen, came he to 100% and then went out. . it came fehlermeldung image \ " corruptet \ " is and on the orbit 2 then the boat screen with the SPL 2.20 and on the right odebn RUUNBH. wars came.... Now I know really nciht more what I should do .... everything an O2 Rome tries to flaschen also miss. I hope somebody can help me here as fast as possible. Thank you schonmal in prerau. Now Olli Having tries sometimes the M.Amine Lite to flaschen, however, WWE. There everything claps funny enough

ok, now on my Handy I have the "3LIT3_VI_Full" Rom from this Forum.
The Problem is, its now in english.
I would the M.Amine 2.0 Rom in German, But its dosn´t work.
when i flash the Hard SPL its all fine. But when I Flash the M.Amine Rom it get to 100 % and than there comes an Error.
After a Restart comes the Reboot Screen . in the right corner is "RUUNBH" .
Why it dosn´t work?? Hard SPL 2.20 is flased.
So, I hope you understand me now
You needn't to re-Hard-SPL. When it's flashes once time, you needn't to do it a second time.
Have you tried it by another ROM? Is there the same problem?

Das ist ja das Koriose, ich habe das Light M-Amine Rom WWE geflasht und da ging alles einwandfrei. und vorher hatte ich Bepe´s Rom. Da hatte ich das Problem, das ich so gut wie keinen empfang mehr hatte.

How are your flashing? And what is the error at 100%. Check the corresponding error code in the readme.doc from OEM. If you are flashing using SD card, better run from Win-XP (preferably). Do a Hard Reset, connect to ActiveSync and run the RUU at 'align screen'. Good Luck . !

i have download an original rom : RUU_Polaris_HTC_WWE_1.25.405.1_radio_sign_25.65.30.04_1.58.21.23_Ship.exe
on xda
and install it.
after i sucessfull intall the amine in french...
It can be your Radio! Please look at the Link given in this Thread, there you can download the Radio and your problem should be solved

I'm searching for a ROM with Manila 3D. I've used the Search-Function but there was only the Touch-It-ROM and it was very buggy on my Polaris and not very stable, too. Is there any other ROM with TF3D avaible?
I've just found ROMs with Manila2D but there are not many animations like Manila 3D.

its not just TF3D but all Opengl 3D applications...TF3D is just always on screen so you notice it...

I've installed TF3D (cab) with all the Plugins on my Polaris (HTC Official ROM) and it's very beautiful

thx for this tipp! I've installed it now, but the problem isn't solved. When I push the Power-Button the backlight turns off, but my Polaris don't go into Standby-Mode. How can I fix this?

you can't fix it - that's the point and why we use M2D instead of TF3D.
ah okay. This is really a pity that we can't solve this (little) problem. Is there still someone who is employed to get running TF3D on QVGA Phones like Polaris etc. ??
Theroretical it must run, doesn't it?

mines works fine, i push the power button, the screen dims, then goes dark leaving it in standby mode until i press the power button again and im using pdacorner rom v19 with 3d installed perfectly

I've installed TF3D (cab) with all the Plugins on my Polaris (HTC Official ROM) and it's very beautiful
But I can't turn off my Display. Is there a way to fix it?

But were can I download the Rom from PDACorner (V19 TF3d Polaris) ???

You can post here, when it works on your polaris
