Pairing X1 with iMac via Bluetooth - XPERIA X1 General

Hello, I'm trying to pair my new Xperia X1 with my iMac (running OS X 10.5.5) but don't seem to be able to get any of the two devices to see each other. I set both to discoverable mode but doesn't seem to work. Needless to say, I can't transfer any files between the two devices via BT either. Any help??

Browse ppc (magician) via bluetooth on OS X

Hello all,
I have not too recently got my first mac. Athough i can't sync I can still send files via bluetooth.
On OSX there is a option to "Browse Device" This allows me to see the files on mobile phones. Tried it on a nokia, samsung and sony ericcson and they all worked.
However it doesn't on my M500 Do i need to turn something on my phone to get this to work?
I also have wi-fi but I don't think you can browse the phone this way either.
Hoping someone might have got this to work in someway. Thanks

Bluetooth + MDA + Computer

Hey all,
I am having an interesting and odd problem with the Wizard and three bluetooth-enabled computers.
The three computers are as following:
My IBM ThinkPad T60
My dad's IBM ThinkPad T40P
My Custom built CarPC with bluetooth.
The T60 will see my phone, communicate with it and create COM ports for Virtual communications.
My Dad's T40P will see the phone - but will NOT see COM ports; same with my CarPC.
My friends Samsung phone and my CarPC will communicate and can see each others COM ports.... what the hell is going on? I am using the stock BT drivers on my T60 that came with it, and Widcomm drivers on both the CarPC and my dad's laptop...
Ah well I figured it out - had to set up PAN and it works fine

Bluetooth withActiveSync/Mobile Devise Manager

Have my shiny new HTC HD2 in my hand as of yesterday - stunning device so far but I am unsure what I should expect from the bluetooth link behavior with ActiveSync/Mobile Device Manager.
I'm running Win7 Ultimate 64bit on a laptop with BT built in on latest drivers etc.
My old Nokia handset would connect with the laptop quickly when in range - I then had to choose to sync the calendar, notes etc from the Nokia sync software.
The HD2 will let me connect to ActiveSync without problem, but each time I have to do this manually. If I walk out of range or shutdown the laptop etc, the bluetooth link is not re-established until I choose ActiveSync on the HD2 and choose connect to laptop.
Is this expected behavior? I had hoped the HD2 would connect automatically to the laptop when in range?
It seems to link fine with my in car bluetooth, though if the HD2 is locked when the car bluetooth turns on (e.g. when starting the car), I need to unlock the HD2 before it will automatically connect?
Can't find any settings that appear directly relevant - where I can it is all set to allow connections, start automatically etc.
Advice welcome!

S8 paired but cannot connect to the PC

Hi there,
Have just been through a very strange situation here.
I am using BT mouse and keyboard on my PC. They have been working flawlessly, paired and connected without drama.
But when I was trying to connect my S8 to my PC, it always failed. The phone can successfully pair with the PC though.
If you try to send a file to the phone via BT from the PC, the phone can receive. But if vice versa, failed!
PC is using Windows 10 Home 64-bit. All drivers are update to date. Before I tried the BT with my S8, I used the Type-C cable first to connect (in case there is some driver needed to install on the PC), no issue at all. Then switched to BT, cannot connect!
Any clue guys?
Thanks heaps!

(bluetooth) Paired device on android Tv paired but not connected ??

My TV & phone is paired but not connected - and Im having issues on how to connect them. I had them connected once before but do not know how I did it. Before I was able to successfully send a file via bluetooth from Tv to mobile phone, using the send file to Tv app. Does anyone know what I need to press/or do to re-connect the 2 paired devices ?
The worst part is all android Tv systems are all different - also on android 9 Tv they all different - Only on Sony its basically all automatic - not all have a Sony.
