I don't restore original rom. I don't now why. The flash run only 44% and crash.
How can i restore original rom?
The 3LIT3 rom is cid locked?

Just download the original rom WM 6.1 and install.
Follow this Step.
1. Download HTC Official Rom from http://www.htc.com/www/supportdownloadlist.aspx?p_id=59&act=sd&cat=all
2. Entering BootLoader - while holding "camera button", press reset. Do not release "camera button" until tricolor screen is shown
3. Run The application downloaded from step 1.
Next.Optional.
Aft this step you must make a Hard-Spl here yo will find File Hard-SPL-V2.zip http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=69875&d=1202629374
Aft Hard-Spl you can install any ROM build for Polaris.

Well, i had similar problem.
Reflashing stoped on radio update - i think problem causes this unreleased 1.65.30.09 Polaris radio (don't remember exact error code i've got).
You will need to flash another radio - i used one of 1.59.....
Download HardSPL (there will be every thing you need to flash the radio), copy radio file into same directory, and run RUU (RomUpdateUtility).

I had the same problem. I downgrade the radio version to 1.59.44.02 and then installed the rom I wanted to rollback.

Mobile is O2 Orbit II (Polaris)
I Have installed Hard-SPL-V2 and 3LIT3 VI. All worked fine.
I have now tried to install the official WM6.1 rom(both O2 HTC version)and having problems. The install gets to about 34% and shows error [262] : update error
I dont have any sdcard in the device and i have dissable my firewall/antivirus
I have been able to reinstall 3LIT3 no problem so looks like installing the official roms is a problem.
I have follow the steps iby bunex but no luck.
what am i doing wrong?. I have checked to confirm that Hard-SPL-V2 is still installed

You have install 6.0 official rom first.
Maybe it work.
Ok posts above (silly me did not read well) suggest i av to downgrade my radion to a 1.59...... for me to be able to then apply the official roms.
So I downloaded Official Radio 1.59.42.15
Stuck it the my sdcard and then tried to do a radio change via the sdcard install method
No luck The radio downgrade fails with the following error :-
00018003
POLAIMG.nbh - FAIL
RADIO_V2- RSA FAIL
UPDATE FAIL

i have succesfully restore the 3lit3 rom again, so still dont know why radio update is failing

I rolled back to UDK8 rom but only after I downgrade the radio to version 1.59.44.02 - current official version.
It seems that there is a problem with 3LIT3 rom and radio version.
If you still have problems try to contact chavonbravo.
Maybe he can help.

I seemed to have killed my phone tonight. Originally I flashed it with HardSPL then udk Vega firmware. It seemed to work OK but TomTom wouldn't work so I tried to flash it with something else. Now it boots up with the udk Polaris flash screen and then it dies. The screen is vagually there but there is no USB connection (either through Activesync or the firmware software). The bootloader screen is showing:
POLA100
SPL-1.28.0000
CPLD-2
I've tried lots of different firmwares, the original will not install (1.25.405.1) the error is 294 INVALID VENDOR ID
Has anyone any idea how I can fix my 1 month old phone please?

first of all,
it looks like you haven't succesfully installed hardspl
if i remember, you shold install the original rom by manualy going into bootloader (camera+reset).
After that, try and install hardspl again.

My phone has died to. I used it today and sudently I can not unlock it. It want either hard reset or manualy go into bootloader. When it rings, I can answer and talk, but tapping the screen do not work. I am using the Glass rom, and have used a lot of different rom`s, and it has worked perfekt all the time. To enter bootloader (camera+reset)? or (on+camera+reset)? Any tips to unlock so i can install a new rom?

Just amazing.... My device was considered dead as well till I try and updated with the Aus original ROM! And now I'm back to business!!!!!

Pleased refer this post. Install back hardspl and don't replug, wait until end session. flash back with original SPL.
I was asked to patch USPL for ROM size checking when flashing via RUU, so this version does not check size even when flashing via USB. (original SPL skips the size checks only when SD flashing.)
I did this a few days ago, but didn't get around to posting it

how to use it: if you already have a version of artemis USPL installed, simply flash this new version using RUU or from SD (ARTEIMG.NBH on FAT32 formatted SD)
in bootloader (tricolour mode) it should then say version: 1.11.cmon
for instructions on installing any USPL if you have no USPL yet - check out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311403 until I have more time/motivation for userfriendly packaging
more plans: if I get time/motivation I might upgrade this to be full HSPL (overwrite protection)

it's the same process.
The difference is that you can flash any rom without size limits.
Before you only could do this with SD Card method.

i have replaced the nbh file of artemis uspl with this one
then started uspl after that once it gets over i started

thats the way how it is done or something else

you need to enter the tricolour screen to check version.

However I couldn't try it yet Because at the end of the rom update utility application (I mean %100) it gives a error 270 udate error image file corrupted. Please check your update utility I have tried all these attempts while my phone is at the bootloader mode.

Yes. All other files are the same.. infact you need to because zip does not have start_uspl.exe

I have a big problem with my HTC P3300 , precisely M650 by Orange.
Yesterday I had upgrade my rom with ROM/Kitchen-WM6.5-23071R1-WWE/NLD/FRA/PLK/GER/CZE/PTG/ITA/SPA/DAN/SWE/RUS/PTB/CHT/CHS
but before i folowed some intructions for upgrading my rom with 1.11.cmon uspl
Before start something please update to the latest official build! You can find download link on xda wiki! I recommend to remove sd card and sim card before flashing!
First: download this: link and start start_uspl.exe (before it connect your phone to pc)
Second: if thats started you will see the bootloader on your phone screen
Third: start the RUU Updater program and flash up the rom what is included
Fourth: after restart download this: link and flash with RUU updater

So I didn't like this rom release, and I downgrade my Artemis with Release_Aje_fr_3.00Beta3_Nini , and now I could'nt have the Orange network.
I try to upgrade mu rom radio with Artemis Radio 3.08.90 and install Artemis_USPL and nothing ....
EDIT: I tried with an another sim card card on an other operator and it is ok ..... wTf !!

I just bought a used Diamond 2 and wanted to update it to 6.5.
But when i try it stops for at 9% and then looses connection with the PC but recovers and continues to 18% then it stops and the RUU wants to recover the installation, that resulted in the same error.
Luckely I tried the offical 6.1 installation, and that installd OK so my phone is OK.
But why can´t I install 6.5?
I checked with the guy i bought it from, and he said it has been flashed before with a dutty or tom´s rom.
Can this be why it wont load?
I check the bootloader screen (thanks to Drag-On guide) and i says SPL-1.33. OliNex MicroP-Topaz (LED) v10
Do I need 1.83 to install offical 6.5?
I am using swedish rom since I am swedish.
Can anyone help me?

Try hard spl 1.83, then try re-flashing your 6.5
If it still won't flash, try a different rom. Download a cooked rom, Tess 4.0 for instance, and see if you can flash it. If you can, there is probably an error with the original rom. Tess is close to stock anyway, but faster and better

that's the only wayt to do it, otherwise it'll remain stuck at 18% everytime u try to flash the new rom

For those of you, who wants to go back to the WM 6.1 WWE 1.35.720.2 Stock ROM on the Viva, here it is...
This is the lastest english ROM that you can get from HTC. You may use this for warranty purpose or if you prefer going back to the stock ROM. This ROM has the Idea logo. The entire package was assembled from official HTC updates and has no customization/personalization at all. After applying this, you may want to use "stockspl" (see sticky thread) for warranty purpose.

Okay. This ROM has the official Radio, IPL, SPL and Splash. If required, remove those using HTC ROM Image Editor and try to reflash. Make sure your SPL is 2.00.cmon (use HardSPL first). Then after flasing this, go back to stockspl.

Even after removing ipl, stock radio etc it is not working for you both? It should work after removing it. I will try it later.

after I install this rom I can't Hard Spl again I'v tried with Opal_HardSPL_v2 and Opal_HardSPL_v1 there ar no working anymore, please give us a solution cuz now I can't instal another rom and with this my htc is useless.

thanks but is not working, i'v broken my phone with this version ROM.
For people who have issues with this ROM, flash a different ROM using the method described in the thread "HOW TO: Flash ROMS via an SD Card to your Opal".
This ROM was dumped from an HTC Touch Viva T2223 and is 100% original and untouched. I am not sure why this is not working for some of you. I have flashed this on my Viva twice now without any issues.
After flashing this ROM, I get the following:
OBNL 1.57.0000
SPL 1.26.0000 (post applying stockspl; was 2.00.cmon before)
GSM 03.29.90
OS 1.35.0.0

Cannot apply stockspl. SPL 2.00.cmon still remains. I guess that is the problem, but I don't know how to revert to SPL 1.26. I tried everything, but 2.00.cmon is still there .

Tools to dump ROM
Sorry if I am posting in the wrong thread, but are there any tools to backup the original SPL and ROM before we start flashing the cooked ROMS? As with this any unknown issues can be ruled out in case if we need to revert back to the stock ROM.
