My pocket (pda2k) have a problem I hope any one help me to solve this problem
1. Many times my phone out of service but I have good network (service provider) signal
2. some times when i am need to make a call I have a message inform me that there is no signal but I have good
3. when any one call me I receive this ring after 3-6 second and after the caller end the call my pocket still ringer for 3-6 second
which ROM are you using?
what's your device's radio?

Try using sun_dream's latest 6.1 rom (6.5 was removed). That should work just fine (I did not have that issue whatsoever). Good luck!
Yes try sun_dream's WM6.1. Very stable. Look HERE.

Thought I'd start a thread where people can post there issues/bugs on ROM upgrade 1.35 and it will also help people to make an informed decision before upgrading to this ROM.
I have now used this ROM on my SPV M3100 for over several weeks and the only issue I have is when using my 3 network USIM the voicemail speed dial 1 does not work even after going through the settings or registry the bizzare thing is I don't get this issue with other network SIM i.e. O2, Orange or T-Mobile.
P.S. before someone says I may have a faulty 3 USIM, I did not have this issue prior to this upgrade.

The HTC ROM 1.35 is different from the cingular ROM 2.06, it's supposedly the most stable of the ROM upgrades or so they say!
I haven't any issue, Radio & ROM 1.35 ... i've read someone has problems with messaging service...
Using a Task Manager ONE TIME only i've seen the Messaging Service stopped, just a reboot.
now works well, bt, wifi & radio
and what happend, when you try to change the very first contact on sim? I had similar problem, but on old nokia phone, not windows nor symbian.

Would the HTC 1.35 ROm work on the Cingular 8525?

i have some problems with this Radio 1.35.00.11. The thread is about that, isn´t it?
First of all my phone beeps loud out of the speaker at the back(the loud one for "free speaking") if the Person iam calling is not available (busy signal). Even if the Phone is turned to loudness 0! Iam not sure that the Radio Rom is responsible for that, because i reseted my vario2 completely. But iam sure that problem i never had before(with the german origninal Radio ROm).

Because of that i wanted to flash the 1.27. Radio ROM to the Vario2. I took this one: ftp://xda:[email protected]_TMD-TMA_Radiopatch_1.27.00.00_107_GER.exe
The flashing procedure got complete without any error, but on the Vario iss still the 1.35.00.11! Isn´t it possible to flash to a older Rom Version?

Ok, so I just went back to TMO service in the US (after being on Fido in canada) and people are having serious issues trying to call me. Sometimes, it tells them the number is unavalible, sometimes it rings through to VM without me hearing a ring at all...etc.
My question is this:
Is this a TMO service issue or my radio rom/phone?
I have good to full signal on my MDA, I'm using WM6 (1.7 Reload), with my old 2.25 Radio GSM ROM, I can call out just fine and it sounds good (as does a incoming call if it actually makes it through), and it worked great in Canada (different WM5 but same radio).
t's your radio ROM version. Try either 2.19.11 or 2.69.11 and the problems should stop. Personally I use 2.69.11 because it seems to get better reception than 2.19.11.

Hi all the buddies out there...
Did anyone experience problem with making calls and receiving incoming calls? I tested the ROM without any add on application installed. When I call my mobile, the first attempt will not be able to connect and it will end up into my voice mailbox. Second attempt will wake up the phone and get connected. Sometime, first few calls will be also failed.
About making calls, sometime I can't dial out and need to try few times. It make me very frustrated with the problems of the basic function of a "phone". I really appreciate any suggestions or fixes you may be aware. Many thanks.
Make sure you hardreset with NO/YES/YES options.

Thanks for your reply. Of course I do hard reset everytime I upgrade my BA code and when I wanted to clean up my phone. This is a normal procedure.
I believe everyone who is using it as a phone will not live with the phone function problem. I would appreciate whoever ever experienced this problem and have the work around method can share with me. Billion thanks and hope I can really get a solution. It is really frustrating...
i read your previous posts (re WM5 roms), and it is puzzling why your unit exhibits problems on calls even then...
is your radio already v1.15?
I did not have any call function problem with the earlier version of WM5. Ever since I upgraded my WM5 to newer version, I started to have the phone's problem.
I tried to downgrade the radio firmware from 1.15 to 1.13 to 1.12.
1.12 so far give me the least problem. I experienced drop calls occasionally, but huge reduce in incoming call problem. I still can live with sometime cannot make outgoing calls. The most important, people can reach me more consistently.
I had this problem on Orange UK; a new SIM card fixed it. Try borrowing a SIM card from another phone and see if the problem still exists for you.
had changed to a new sim card but problem persist..I think will just throw away my BA...
Wouldn't be cheaper to go back to WM5 or WM2003SE, instead of [FONT="]throwing[/FONT] the BA...?

When I upgrade to 1.15, the problem is gone.

hello since I have problems with the sound of my BA can you please send me your complete software like : ROM, radio, and others so i can try to fix the sound rings and during the call volume too low...please
I am using Bepe's 0.66 ROM on my O2 Orbit 2 in the UK.
Not sure if it is anything to do with the ROM, but in the last week I have had a number of calls where the incoming call quality is terrible. The caller sounds like a Dalek and I can barely make out what they are saying. My voice sounds OK to them.
Has anyone had this problem? I did not experience the problem before upgrading to the custom ROM, however I only used the device for a week before upgrading, so can't be sure the ROM is the cause.

Try different Radio Roms!
First try the lastest 1.27 Radio ... then the lastest 1.58 Radio ... 1.64 and 1.65!
On of those work without Problem! Its the same reason why Blue Tooth make troubles or not!

I cant recive any call. Whenever i dial my number, my phone behaves as turned off and I hear the operator saying please try calling later. But oding outgoing calls works fine
Though my phone is on and in working condition. I can make calls and can send/recive sms. Wifi/bluetooth/IR no problems. Just the most wiered problem is about incomking calls. no one can contact me but i can contact them.
Also when i resume my device from suspend and quickly send an sms. It says please wait 15 minutes for the device to be ready. So i wait till i get older enough to use my phone
Any fix or any diagnostic? Looks like I am the only one with this problem
The official O2_UK_1.4_wm2k3 upgrade works fine in every aspect.
I need to enjoy the full functionality with the wm5/6 apps. I need WM upgrade especially for softmaker office..

i love fastness of wm2003SE but as u know, WM5/6 have much more compatibility for latest apps, thats why

2day i will try, Helmi's WM5 (aku 3.5 i think), and xplode's WM6.1 v19293 (i just want the incoming calls). And now downloading v2.755 one Wish me luck
In WM5, sometimes the phone straight away says sim card not found. but other way it works on any other phone. In Wm6 every thing runs gud, but no incoming calls.
One more thing. I put my phone near my Sound System. When i dial my phone number, the same periodic resonant sound appeared at the speakers of sound system (like incoming call or SMS) but suddenly died down and my network operator said "please retry calling later. Your contact is not available

I have already used v1.15 and 1.12 and still no luck. Every thing else works like charm. I am a student so I barely get money to recharge my phone's balance, mostly dependant on incomming calls. Thats why??

Tested 20755 and pv-DVH clean and green rom. None did some support to my calling thingi...........I am gonna get a new sim card and see if it is the problem with sim card.
IMHO sim card is fine since it is fully read in WM2K3 SE. Then why not in WM5/6/6.1 ?
you have very curious problem, which honestly i haven't encoutered on any BA so far...
it may be a radio problem in your case, you can try 1.13 or 1.13.10 radio they are pretty stable too
quickly provide me only radio.nbf
i see u online though. I am thinking the same. and I feel to lazy to download the huge T-Mobile Rom for v1.13. Please post the radio.nbf for radio version 1.13 or 1.13.10
still no luck. My network's sim card/network aint compatible with the new windows mobile 5/6/6.1
so no luck, keep on loossing all soft/info with battery har reset thingi on stinky WM2003SE (BTW TMUK upgrade worx like charm. Battery is alive again for 2 dayz backup yay!)
