Mogul (Sprint): Phone slow to wakeup from standby when locked - Mogul, XV6800 General

I see this weird issue with Mogul in that it would wake up from standby at acceptable pace when unlocked but would show lethargy in waking when locked. I dont use S2U2, just the WM6 lock.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Stopping Auto Wake Up

I have a M700 Orange Uk version of this one and wondering if anyone knows how to stop this issue.
In my old m600 once you put the phone in standby (screen off) it would stay like that unlike a phone call or manual wake up.
This damm phone keeps waking up each time it picks up new / change in signal be that 3G or Normal Mobile.
Very annoying as it wakes up and I end up having called people I did not know or things set etc.
I know there is a keylock but I cant use it as it then is an issue when in the car and docked.
Any ideas
thanks

Mogul randomly turns on?

Sometimes I notice that my device is on already when I take it out of my pouch.
I left it on my desk once to monitor its behavior... and sure enough, sometimes it will turn itself on as if it is receiving a call, but no call rings. Then the screen dims (as it should) and sits like that for a while.
Has anyone else noticed this?
What causes my phone to come out of sleep by itself?
I'm using the Sprint Mogul version with WM6.
yes, i've noticed usually that happens when i loses reception... don't know how to fix that hopefully someone out there is smart enough to figure it out
My Q did the same thing... it lights up for no reason, then times out like it should. If I don't lock my phone I end up opening a program or calling someone also it has to affect battery life. I have not been able to find out why the phone does this but I would sure love to know how to make it stop.
Do you have any emails setup that are pushed or checked on a schedule?
I find this happens when I am in fringe areas. I think it comes up when you lose service/switch to roaming/etc. I have slide 2 unlock so its really not a big deal.
ppc wakes up to password screen
I know I have read this somewhere but can't remember where I read it but lately I have had this happen. I reach for my mogul to find it awaken and with a screen asking for a password. I never have set a password and leaving password blank doesn't work. I have to soft reset to get out of it. Don't know if this is a mogul bug, wm6 bug, or 3rd party app bug. I have slide2unlock 1.19 installed as well as the Grumps iPhone theme, and HTC Touch Today plugin. Other significant apps installed includes Voice Command 1.6, smartskey, and Live Search 2.0
Anybody know the cause?
Edit: oops, meant to start new thread.
My 6800 randomly turns on and the screen for the voice dialing comes up. I have no clue why this happens but it is annoying and drains the battery faster.

Could it be that you have a BT headset that is trying to connect to it? I know mine reacts like that- as it should, since the BT should trigger a voice command.

Autolock after idle and unlock when phone ringing

Hello,
Sorry for my english... Since 2 day I search a program who lock (with windows mobile lock) my phone after 20sec idle, who turn off the screen after 20 locking seconds and who unlock my phone when I have a call...
Somebody have this program?
Thanks
S2 unlock is what you need mate
Try csdevctrl. It can do exactly what you want as long as you set it properly through it's settings. You can find it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=386451
I've already tryed S2U2 but on my diamond he use a lot of battery and csdevcontrol don't unlock the phone when I receive a call
Thanks

[PROBLEM] wake up unexpectedly at sleep mode

Hello,
I've been using Touch HD at least 7 months. When i first bought i never get this issue but lately my phone wakes up when in sleep mode even i dont press power on/off button.
First i thought it's the software problem so restore my stock rom( 1.14 German) but no luck same problem happened. i tried many cooked/original rom again no luck.
So it must be hardware problem, then begin when it happens this wake up issue. Generally after sleep mode actives 2-3 seconds later it wakes up.
and i realized that it wakes up when the stylus is in. When phone is in sleep mode and stylus is in if you press the case where the stylus is, it wakes up,
(not all the time) but when stylus is out nothing happens .
anyone has the same problem, at least have a solution for this.
Can we disable when the stylus is out the phone is wakes up setting?
I'm using s2u2 program to unlock phone, so it doesn't call anybody at my contact list by mistake...
Hey LostXP,
I've got similar problems while using S2U2 - it never happened before. I think this must be a Software-Problem generated by S2U2... anybody out there having the same probs.
My HD wakes up while beeing asleep, trying to create voice-orders or initiating video-calls...
Find the mistake... I used the standard Headset which tried initialise calls because of pressing the call-button without recognizing it!

[Q] Wake up from sleep using touchscreen

I am wondering if it is possible to configure my hermes to wake up from sleep using the touch screen.
After the phone went to sleep, by pressing the power button for example, I could just touch the device to wake it up. I don't think pocket dial is such a big deal, I could use a lock screen to prevent that.
Only solution I found is to configure windows not to turn the device off. But I think the battery will drain faster if the device can't go to sleep mode.
Any thoughts?
