Someone has asked this before but I can't find the thread with the answer in...
There's a way of enlarging the edit box above the keyboard when typing a new SMS in threaded mode so that you can see more than two lines at once.
I think I remember that the solution involves editing one of the .htm files in the Windows folder (or something like that).
Can anybody tell me which file I must edit please?

Hello
I'm so tired of the annoying wakeup-music/tone, which goes with the alarm. Can I, and if so how, edit this into a music-number? It must be in a folder in the root, but which one?
Thanks in advance

Have you ever tried opening the Win-folder? There are a lot of files in that folder and therefor I asked. Your answer didn't help me anymore than my very first post.
Won't someone tell me, how to change this? I would love to have a nice ringing tone tomorrow morning!
Galarm...is a must app when it comes to alarms.

Hi!
Is there an app, which monitors the clipboard? I was reading a large text and found it really annoying to copy an important part, switch to word and paste it, then back to reading and the hole thing all over again...
I am thinking of an app, that creates a list of what has been copied automaticly. Does anybody know something like that?

Hi, thanks. I installed it but couldnt figure out how to get it to work. I cant even find an *.exe
Could You help me with this?
Hi!
I've just asked myself if there's a way to display several appointments on the wm 6.5 lockscreen.
After searching in the .cpr it seems like the lockscreen.dll is used with a function *LS_appointment*.
(OnInitComplete="Binding:LockScreen,LS_Appointment">)
After searching the internet it seems like there's no way to edit the .dll. So is there any way to create a .dll with such a function, wich is giving the second Appointment as subject and the time & date?
i havent any knowlegde about programming and just wanted to ask if there's anybody out there who could realise this.
If any of the things i assumed are totally wrong pls excuse me
cheers!
OK i've tried it by copy and paste in the .cpr file but this concluded in the need of a hard reset.....
nobody hast an idea?
cheers
also interested...a 1 week window of up to 4 items would suffice
Is there already a solution available?
Thanks in advance.

Cheers John.
I prefer not to use cabs though as i like to know exactly what i am doing when tweaking and would prefer not to decompile the cab to see exactly wtf is going on!
I take it that cab replaces the wav file all together?
If you didnt want to do this you can simply go to:
HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCAnimation\StartupWav
and edit the name of the wav file in that key ( i added a character to its file name so it would be easy to change back if needed.)
was just looking for your post! does it work properly? the stuttering tone at the mo is a tad annoying!!

Yeah, tell me about it! What's the point of putting a startup sound if it stutters? It makes the whole device look cheap right from its first powerup.
All my cab does is replace the wav file with a tiny silent one, therefore saving precious ROM space. It works fine for me, and I've not had any complaints so far.
Where is startup tone located?
Hi
Could someone tell me which folder the startup tone is located? I wanted to replace it with my own wav.
Thanks

Generally, no, unless you're capable of reverse engineering or the program pulls its text from an XML or similar file (many language-friendly apps do this) in which case you'll need to find which file that is in the cab and edit it in a text editor or similar.
The latter is unlikely though...

what kind of software can you suggest to use to 'decompile' them?
i saw inside the files, with notepad++ but of course they are all compiled
