Hi!
I've just asked myself if there's a way to display several appointments on the wm 6.5 lockscreen.
After searching in the .cpr it seems like the lockscreen.dll is used with a function *LS_appointment*.
(OnInitComplete="Binding:LockScreen,LS_Appointment">)
After searching the internet it seems like there's no way to edit the .dll. So is there any way to create a .dll with such a function, wich is giving the second Appointment as subject and the time & date?
i havent any knowlegde about programming and just wanted to ask if there's anybody out there who could realise this.
If any of the things i assumed are totally wrong pls excuse me
cheers!
OK i've tried it by copy and paste in the .cpr file but this concluded in the need of a hard reset.....
nobody hast an idea?
cheers
also interested...a 1 week window of up to 4 items would suffice
Is there already a solution available?
Thanks in advance.

Worked like a charm thanks!!
Thought it didnt work but then had to set it in the menu to show it and hey presto its all good!
Someone please help me.
I copied the original qa_layouts.dat from my x51v, I wanted to make a 3x3 menu, so I open the Launcher.xml and found that my "mN" entries are different from what I've seen here (xda site).
This is what I have:
<Plugin Class="Spb.LSP.Generic" Name="m0" ID="100">
<String Name="Key" Value="4"/>
</Plugin>
the Key/value exist for all my "mN" entries.
What is the "Key" and how come other's don't have them.
I don't think I can help too much, since I'm still learning, but I've spent alot of time here trying to figure things out, too.
Maybe this thread can help:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=378367 It's starting from the beginning, but it's an EXCELLENT guide to learn how this whole thing works. (Thanks Dredd67!)
You can try this thread too:

I guess it really depends on which theme and which type of screen you are working with. (I'm using a treo 750 with a 240x240 screen, so my knowledge is pretty limited.)
Hopefully one of those threads can be more helpful.(or try one of the links in my previous answer.) That thread is pretty long, but I'm sure you'll find what you need somewhere in there!
Good luck!
Hi everyone,
first, sorry if I'm wrong to creat a new thread...
Well I've got a Kaiser and I'd like to edit the links on the HTC Home : I want to launch G-alarm when I pish the clock.
If you know how to, please...
Thanks.
I am pretty sure you cannot do this.
That's pretty sad...
I was thinking about that...
That's strange, I mean, there must be a link somewhere that launch the clock when you push it. I've tried to find it but I'm not a good hacker.
If somebody knows...
Thanks.
It pretty muchg has to be hardcoded into the program but looking in the Windows folder, thereare many HTC related files and I have no idea which to look at for this particular setting - even if I knew how to edit them once I found it.
I would think it's linked to HTCHome.dll or htcMenuSetting
Good luck on finding this because it would be cool to activate gAlarm via the clock rather than a quick launch button on the launcher
G-Alarm
Hello,
i have the same problem, can us help anyone???
thanks
Someone has asked this before but I can't find the thread with the answer in...
There's a way of enlarging the edit box above the keyboard when typing a new SMS in threaded mode so that you can see more than two lines at once.
I think I remember that the solution involves editing one of the .htm files in the Windows folder (or something like that).
Can anybody tell me which file I must edit please?

That's perfect - thank you
(I was searching in this forum for the solution because I'm sure I read it here a few weeks ago.)
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whenever I get a next text message, I noticed that the messages have a time stamp way way off from the current time. How can that be if the time of the phone is right?
Have you tried this fix?
1) Goto HKLM/SOFTWARE/OEM/PhoneSetting
2) Add DWORD Value 'TrustTimeZoneField'
3) Set value = 0
4) Soft Reset
I had a similar issue where all the Delivery Reports from OrangeUK (sent from "System Administrator") came up before all the other messages regardless of when they were received.
Maybe something for me to try.
Can't find it
Where is that file at? Or it a registry?
I looked on the explorer on the HD but so many folders I haven't found it. Can you elaborate more?

hi stzd8,
it's the registry
HKLM is short hand for Hkey local machine
How do I get to the registry?
I apologize for asking these type of 'questions' but how do I get to the registry?
I can only see files. Do you access the registry from the connected PC or on the phone itself. So this is the right way to fix the timestamp?
thanks
Edited the registry 'trustedtimezone' didn't work
The registry thing didn't work, any other ideas?
the tweak WORKED for me.
Thanks alot!
I'm having this same problem running duttys 6.5 r8 and the reg edit did not work. Is there any other solution?

Did you change correct registry key? Did you soft reset afterwards?
EDIT
This fix may not work on different rom version, i.e. wm6.1 & wm6.5 as well as different manila versions. Try asking question in relevant rom thread and you may get a quicker response to your query
I was searching many hours for a solution but could not find anything...
Maybe somebodies knowledge of the Registry is that good to show me a way how to get back the native Windows interface for the contact management (the one that is used when Sense is deactivated) without turning HTC sense 2.5 off?
Thanks in advance!

Try SSMaHo 0.0.4.0. With this, you will be able to hook the contacts function in Sense to WM instead of Sense. Does that make sense??
Sorry, shame on me, as a greenhorn in this forum I violated its well-founded hygiene and posted in the wrong place. Maybe an admin could delete this thread or move it to the right discussion. But at least let me say thanks to mitsi, your advice gave me the impulse to search further (I tried SSMaHo 0.0.4.0., but I donĀ“t want to use such a "big" program to change just one simple thing that even can be done by typing some simple ascii code in the registry).
Finally ... (maybe someone else is interested in this) I found out that the desired contacts-interface can be accessed by "\Windows\poutlook.exe" with the argument "contacts". So, to acces the native windows mobile interface by touching the left softkey at the Homescreen, I just had to change the according entries in the registry:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\MANILA\HomeLSKPath -> poutlook.exe
HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\MANILA\HomeLSKArguments -> contacts
Thats it for now
