Hi!
Is there an app, which monitors the clipboard? I was reading a large text and found it really annoying to copy an important part, switch to word and paste it, then back to reading and the hole thing all over again...
I am thinking of an app, that creates a list of what has been copied automaticly. Does anybody know something like that?

hi there,
Im actually wanting to edit .php files on my tytn, without having to change the file extension to .txt all the time. Is this possible at all?
Thanks in advance!
Jon
Anyone know if this is possible?
Does anyone seriously know how to do this?
Sure it cant be that hard can it?
I suppose its just not possible then?
Anybody? Hello? hello? hello?
echo... echoo... echo........
hmmmm... guess nobodies here. weired
.
I'm looking for the same thing! but i could only find VB editing software for the PPC
I have seen this:
http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=8618
Cheap but not free.
you looking for "open with" - try Resco Explorer 2005....lets you change file associations.
that looks like it would do the job, but its more expensive than the other piece of software i linked and wouldnt do syntax highlighting.
I am really wanting a way to change file associations, so i can open a .php with the word.

This is exactly what i was looking for! thanks alot!
*** EDIT ***
Hmm it doesn't seem to be build for PHP, elseif isnt highlighting etc
I use the edit function in total commander to edit HTML files without changing the extension to .txt then back to .htm
It appears willing to open any file type into a text editing window and will save it without complaining. The only limitation is a maximum file size of 64k.
just put this reg tweaj in regm and multusekect is ebabled adter sift reset. (exept inbox outlook).
And what exactly enables that?

Ermmm..what does 'regm' mean and where would I find it in my x1 files?
HOW to multiselect Pictures then???
Okay, if this is already there, kindly somone explain HOW I can multiselect some pictures i.e. to beam at once?
Cannot find a way, only one by one so far.
I use resco file explorer which enables me to select many files at once to beam it to another phone.

well this is like holding the left mousebutton i windows and dragging the mouse to select several files at once, so in x1 and other it will work in total commander and other apps like it by simply drag stylus over several files to select them.
Oops accidental double post!
And that's all just a registry setting? How rare. Nice though, thanks!

The answer to this lies in understanding bluetooth. Natively Bluetooth beam supports single file transfer. I.E. you have to send them one at a time, even folders containing multiple files cannot be beamed. This is where a third party application is required, which can automatically send multiple files 1 by 1 when you select more than one. I use Resco Explorer, out of the box it allows you to select multiple files with a drag of the stylus and perform any regular operation on them all even transfer across wifi/bluetooth. hope this helps
Don't think this has anything to do with 'understanding' either Bluetooth nor 'how its beamed'. My P990i could do this just fine with bluetooth or infrared!
And when you "try" to select more pics, the phone does not know yet what you want to do with that.... sending via Bluetooth, email, mms, etc. So that has nothing to do with this. Its a Windows craps perhaps?!?!
bharat4ever
Okay, thanks.
Will try a third party app now (once again...)
In the meantime I found to use the Virtual Keyboard, hold down Ctrl button and then can select any number of files. Most of the time it works to mutli send / beam the files/pics.
Or, one can use Resco Explorer to do the same.
Regards
Someone has asked this before but I can't find the thread with the answer in...
There's a way of enlarging the edit box above the keyboard when typing a new SMS in threaded mode so that you can see more than two lines at once.
I think I remember that the solution involves editing one of the .htm files in the Windows folder (or something like that).
Can anybody tell me which file I must edit please?

Hi,
Got rather a big problem. I installed Resto Explorer and was using it quite happily until the trial period lapsed. I did purchase the program as I liked it but got the wrong license generated and still waiting to hear from their support on getting it fixed. In the mean time I was unable to edit or do anything of substance.
So in my wisdom I decided to remove it for now. Big mistake! I am now unable to explore my phone as I cannot find the default explorer. I think I may have removed that from the start menu. OCD cleanliness you understand!!
So I cannot explore at all and thus cannot install anything to replace it.
Anyone know how I might recover from this one?
Cheers.
try installing total commander
Ok panic over. I used pcsync to copy a shortcut of fexplore.exe to start menu. Phew!
What someone mind posting the registy location and values of the default file explorer please so I can fully recover as it was and this time keep it there!!
Thanks.

Not quite sure what you expect to be stored in the registry for the file explorer. I've had a brief look and can't see anything in there. Just using it will set up any data storage that it uses. AFAIK it only needs to remember the last location it was in - nothing more.
Well at the mo all I have in the start menu now is "Shortcut to fexplore.exe". I woudl like to clean that up as far as possible to be what it it supposed to be.

Open file explorer and go to windows\start menu\programs and find the shortcut. Just rename it in there.
Incidentally, if you select an application, anywhere on your phone and do "Copy", you can then go to the above mentioned programs folder and do "Paste Shortuct". Just in case you lose any more shortcuts
Hi, I am interested in putting a few books on my HD2 to read. I converted them using calibre to .PDB format which is what Barnes and Noble eReaders use for their format. I put the converted file, along with the cover image in the folder /my device/program files/ BN eReader/Books. Is this not the right area to put them in? They do not show up when I open the eReader application. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I could be wrong, but I think the format the program uses is EPUB.
Can I ask you if you could post a tutorial of the conversion of the files (including the cover image)? Or, at least, a place with a nice tutorial.
Thanks!

no tutorial, but u just find the book u downloaded, then there is a button that says convert and u can change in settings what format. (ePub) is most popular.
I also want to mention, as my own thread was never answered.... there is a built in Reader from HTC that reads ePub.. i have been able to activate it by clicking on a ePub file but it only works ONCE after a soft reset... anyone know how to find the reader as a program?

Do you not have a HTC Reader Sense tab, or a start menu icon?
You could try HTCEBookList.exe in the Windows directory.
What exactly are you trying to do?

umm.. no i don't actually... which Rom do you have or is it a cab?? i have NRG's rom (tried all 3).
and i will try that, thats the answer i've been looking for i hope, but I am trying to open the reader as I please. Not just randomly, and not by having to go into my file explorer and clicking on a epub file.

You could use a file explorer like Resco's or Total Commander to create a shortcut to HTCEBookList.exe and place in in your start menu. You could then add it as a quicklink too.
If you want a cab file, see my previous post, #4, and also the indexer to add more books.
As for the rom i'm running, my current signature info is up-to-date. I didn't realise the NRGZ28 was not cooking in the reader tab in his current roms.
Hi everyone.
I am thinking of buying a new Blackberry bold 9700 having elegant skin cover on it, So could anyone here please suggest me some websites providing blackberry blod 9700 with nice skin covers?

Hi! I converted some ebooks using this process, but I cannot make B&N Reader see it... is there a specific place I should put the files I can be seen by it? I currently trying to put in its ebook folder in "my device" location.
