GPS quick fix, possible?

Hi,
this has been discussed before and in different places, but nobody came up with a valid solution:
Is there a quick GPS program that works for Trinity? Is there one in the new p3600i that works with P3600? What about the Kaiser one, did anyone get it to work properly on the Trinity, if yes, does it actually work? There's the Qgps, apparently from HP wich has the same qualcomm chip - it doesn't seem to work.
So, the objective of this post is to summarize anything that works. Please do not post anything about other GPS quick fix from other vendors or Sirf fixes, we already know they don't work.

Nope.
there is a gps sat location updater piece of software but it doesn't seem to do anything on Trinity in UK.

P.S. QGPS appears to help a little bit, but it's difficult to tell

Problem with Bluetooth and Display

Hi,
i have flashed Helmi´s WM 6 on my VPA3 and for now, everthing works fine. But i have the problem, when BT is activated the display went on permanently. Is this a bug im WM6 or is there a fix?

How do you enable BT? ..through another program like navigation or manually? I know most of the BT based navigation programs keep the backlight on all the time.

I need help to fix this problem I have with the mini GPS, The Mini don't recieve any signal from the satelites , I use NaviComputer and GoogleMaps with the Mini's GPS, two days ago it worked perfectly.
by the way i don't move any settings, so I DON'T KNOW what happens

Hello my friend.
First update quick gps.Test the gps program you have in an outside area.
Then you can use htc gps tool

Well dude, I already do all you told me, but i got the same results.. nothing happens, also i made a Hard Reset, update the GPS data, run the app, still nothing

I FIX THE GPS!!!!!!!!!!!, the problem, the antenna cable was loose, I reconnect it again and it Worked 100%

So could you share with us, where the antenna is located?
A photo maybe?

Please take a look to this video -> HTC Aria Disassembly, you will see EXACTLY the same layout in the Mini;
The coaxial cable for the GPS is the blue one, the white one is for the WiFi, the WiFi antenna is located in the top yellow cover of the mini (the one that protects the camera and the speaker), the GPS antenna i believe is located in the same location.
Remember I don't identified it, because my problem was the GPS blue coaxial cable was loose, I only reconect it and solve my problem.

I still cannot find the gps antenna...
At the video posted above they don't talk about GPS ANTENNA...
Could you, please, give me a hand? My HTC Mini shown the same problem...my GPS just stopped working.

I do´nt know what answer will you waiting for?The GPS is so good as the navig. software.I do´nt know what about else.GPS recivers in the phones?Maby are all the sames,but in SE work good for me.

Working good with gmaps too, but I prefer iGO for navigation.

I do´nt know if he asked for Gmaps or offline nav.,or reciver in mobilephene.All of them has answer.For me reciver work wery well.Software is another qustion.I had trouble in Android 2.3 with Navigon.I use Aura now and NDrive will be work coretli too.

The GPS is very good, i have no problem with is...

Try the Mireo DON'T PANIC app for GPS, they have some of the best maps available.

My friends and i tested it when we were on a trip we got lost a little bit turned on mah gps on x8 and it helped us so yea its great...
I get 9 meters on imprecision in my house thats very good

works great with navitel and iGO

I dont have issue with gps, its working good with Aura navigation.

GPS works really good - using iGo, tried Navitel, Sygic and several more. Accuracy is generally good, but had strange issues once - whole day I had a strong position shift (about 100 meters I think). Tried rebooting, resetting and so on - nothing helped. Next day problem was gone.

GPS is working on mine. Did some driving directions 2 days ago. She (the voice) knew exactly when I didn't make my u-turn.

What satnav app you use?

I just used the Bing Maps that comes with Mango. I don't need to use it very often and saw nothing wrong with that option.

Navigon 3 & 4 working very well, TurnByTurn navigation also work OK...
