hey all,
im a total noob so i apologise now
just recently installed a new rom on my diamond.
the home page for internet explorer changed but i want my original one back but it doesnt exist anymore.
the original one was one with the favourites listed as part of the web page with the internet explorer logo above it. it has featured in many roms on my old phone.
does anyone know what im actually on about; or know where i can get or how i get it back now its disappeared off my new rom?

I have fonts that used by thunderhawk browser...
try searching thru the registry or get some tweaking softwares
hi, does any body know how to change the font on PIE, i dont know what i did and all of a sudden i have a horrible font almost impossible to read. i already looked up on GOOGLE and used the search button but it came up with this thread but no one has answered yet. Well anyway I am trying to browse my homes wireless network shared folders throught my hermes, model dopod 838 pro bought in australia with 3 hutchingson, settings.
I love my phone but it have been exploring it for weeks now trying to see how i would do this, but cant find anything, there are a lot of networking stuff available in the phone which i dont understand so maybe i missed the spot???
I was thinking though that if i was able to do this, it would be through file explorer.
anyone can point me in the rght direction ?

AFAIK, the hermes cannot do this 'out of the box'. If you install Resco file Explorer it does have this capability though.

i have installed resco suite and am using it now... but it is not free, the price isnt that much really but before i buy anything i would like to know if there are any others which wuld do the job that i can trial ??? also a little bit lighter ???
Sorry if Ive posted this is the wrong place peeps,i have tried to do a search but couldn't find anything.
Basically i have flashed up to WM 6 and when i try and load forum pages like this one i cant use the reply box.There seems to be some problem with the way the page is displaying and I.E doesn't seem to understand that the box is click able for text addition.
Is there something i should install so the page presents correctly?

Are you logged in to the forum from your PDA?
Sure the thread isn't locked?
Have you tried desktop view in PocketIE?
Or, try Opera or another Explorer.
Unfortunately, for a PDA / smartphone forum, XDA-developers really isn't mobile viewer friendly. I sometimes view the forum through Google so it gets converted to a less cluttered format.
Thanks for your reply Hyperbaric,i have this prob with a few different forums.I have tried Opera browser last night and it was fine.Shame Ive now got to buy a browser as the I.E one doesn't display all pages correctly.

I'm using WM5 at the moment and it's fine. Did this only start on WM6?

Thinking back yes im sure it was fine when using WM5,im using the latest LVSW rom 3.3.09,at least it was the newest rom last week unless a new one is out lol.

I have just joined the forum and this is my first post..
I have bought the XDA Ignito or the HTC Touch Diamond.. and have been exploring the phone. Was wondering if I can get some help here, i know there are lots of posts there but some things are complicating to me!
Just to inform that I am a newbie with all this stuff.
I want to customise few things:
I'm on orange and therefore I dont want the O2 screen at the start, and although I like the blue and white theme (of the TouchFlo3D), I would like to see the original version (black) also..
In the Internet option, When I click on Launch Browser, nothing happens and I have to manually open Internet Explorer from the Start menu!
I thought it is possible to browse the web in landscape by tilting the phone, but when I tilt the device nothing happens. Is it because im using Internet Explorer?
What do I need to do to purely customise my new toy lol
Also I would like to know of any tweaks that I may be able to do to maybe make the phone more faster?
One more question, I would like to know how long on average does the battery last? Mine lasts just about a day!

Ok sorry, but I have looked everywhere for some info, nothing.
I have been trying to customise my htc touch 3g with a dialler and the advice is to copy the cab over to the phone, also I have seen that I have to access the windows folder, which I cannot do. I can find it on my phone but not on my pc the specific one is this, but they seem to be on a very meandering quest by page 19 and I couldn't bear anymore reading please help, i'll be your friend
