Can you explain what was the last think you've done... because my crystal ball didn't work today I really hope that you didn't start to flash something before HardSPL, which you don't have.
Try to Hard reset the device:

Press and hold the Left SOFT KEY and Right SOFT KEY, and at the same time, use the stylus to press the RESET button at the bottom of your device. You will be presented with a menu saying 'press R to reset, X to exit', if you press R Your device will be set back to factory default settings. (The L/R soft keys are the "- -" keys just above the start and OK buttons)
If it still doesn't boot, continue with reading
The best thing you can do right now (if your device is still in warranty) is to take it back. If it out of warranty, then start reading here. Check SPL column where point at:

I just installed this program, used default settings, apllied, My 8125 soft reset.
Now I cannot see anthing past the initial screen that lists IPL and SPL version.
Just a plain white screen, Active sync wont work, no buttons work. Please help !!!!!!!!!!
If you're stuck I think the only next step would be a hard reset which is going to drop it back to the base factory build so you'll lose anything you've installed etc.
How do I hard reset 8125, with buttons only (key / button combination) OS does not boot or visible.
press the "connetions" button (on the left hand side of the unit next to volume up/down) with the "voice" button (right hand side of the unit opposite the connections button) and then use the stylus to do the normal soft reset and it should hard reset back to factory settings - it's described in the manual
Tried hard reset several times, no luck.
All I did was installed registry wizard from here

and now I can't get it to do anything, anymore suggestions ?, your help is really appriciated, I have only had the phone to 2 days and its dead already
try holding the same two buttons and then hitting the power button instead of the reset thingy... this method was easier for me... If this dosen't work you will have to enter bootloader mode and reflash the rom.

By the way, did you use that program to change the default input method?? I use it all the time and the only time it gave me the whitescreen is when I tried to change the default input...Oops. I believe that you should be able to use that program safely, just leave the default input alone... Hope this helps.

raheelb did you have the warning that the proggie cannot recognize the AKU version?
I had had such a warning, unfortunately bypassed it and had the same issue (white screen) - any one knows why the RegistryWizard cannot recognize AKU version? I have the original Qtek 2.17 ROM installed... :?

Recently my pda(k-jam) fell from my pocket and it hanged. I did a soft reset but I get this error message "Press Send to restore factory defaults, Other keys to quit"
I tried all keys but in vain. I then did a hard reset by pressing the comm and the voice dial. (did a reset with my stylus). I still get the above error message.
Does anyone have any suggestion or idea how to reset my pda?

I would like to upgrade to molski but they say I might have to downgrade my rom but I must first unlock the device. There are g3 or g4 device..how do I know what device my k-jam is...g3 or g4? How do I follow up or know?
Could anybody give me the link or solve my problem? As my k-jam just wont pass that screen..I tried looking into various topics but couldnt go about the first step I should be taking...

Hold down the camera button while resetting it. If you can get it to the bootloader (three color screen), you might be able to flash it with something and possibly rescue it. It does, however, sound like you might be screwed. Things break when you drop them, including plastic phones.

Thanks but if I have to do a hard reset, I would already be holding the comm manager and the voice dial with the stylus to reset. Do I hold all the 3 buttons together while hard resetting ?

Hold down the camera button, Power Button and Pin in the hole. First relese the hole, then release the power button and keep holding the Camera button dis will bring the Tri-colour screen. There'll be some info. like IPL n SPL der
If IPL n SPL are like:
IPL 2.xx.xxxx or 1.xx.xxxx
SPL 2.xx.xxx or 1.xx.xxxx then ur device is G4.
if its like:
IPL 2.xx or 1.xx
SPL 2.xx or 1.xx then ur device is G3
if its G4 you need to CID Unlock that before upgrading it.

I tried your steps but it still wouldnt work. But somehow I did the switch below the comm button and it showed me the screen to the somethign HTC innovation or like that.
I think I had to tinker with the switch below the button to get the screen working.Thanks for your help.

hold down the two 'soft keys' on either side of the chrome wheel. use your stylus to press the inverted 'reset' button on the bottom left side. keep holding the soft keys while you do this. a screen will eventually pop up asking you if you want to...i forget exactly what it says, but you want to do it. hit the green 'talk' button to complete the process and you are done.

Are you sure you preformed hard reset? You must hold power + camera + comm manager buttons (all on the sides) then press and release the reset hole (at the bottom).
Then you will see a question asking you to confirm hard reset. If I remember correctly you need to press 'send' (the green phone button) to preform hard reset.
Please be sure to read the instruction on he screen.

Hello.
One xperia entered tricolor screen (volume down + powering on) but now it cannot leave that screen, even if the battery is taken out for a minute.
Is there a way to kick the xperia out of bootloader mode?

when you take the battery cover out you should see a hole, insert the stylus in it and "push".

Not nice...
That action is to soft reset only not to enter bootloader (normally u need more then a few key combi to enter just like manual hard reset)

I tried the 'reset' button but of course that didn't help.
I tried hard reset and it showed it was hard reseting, but after than the same tricolor screen appears.
It says in this order:
RUUNBH (aligned right)
KOVS110
SPL-0.72.0000
MicroP1-787
MicroP2-707 (these last 4, aligned left)
Upgrade ROM Code Error (centered)
Please try again (centered)
Serial (centered)
I tried also RUU with hardspl, and RUU with ruu_signed.nbh (supposedly UK official rom).
In both cases it goes to withe screen with the progress bar at 0% but stays there until you take off batery, then it returns to previosly mentioned tri-color screen.
HELP please!
