CID unlock HTC Wizard

Hi,
I have a MDA Vario device which I would like to upgrade to the newest QTEK-rom. So, I have to CID-unlock the device which is not working out as it should be.
I already got the sim-unlock-code with lokiwiz03a after I manually copy-ed the enablerapi.cab to my phone.
I use lokiwiz02a for the CID-unlock but this fails with some kind of interal error and the device reboots, I have a screenshot of the error just before it reboots, it's here: http://www.bulls-with-spirit.nl/error.jpg
I hope you guys ca help me out with this!

My Herald is brick, HELP...

I already try with official rom, but my herald is still brick, i can not syncronize the herald with pc to run the official rom.
It is freeze in inicial boot with HTC logo.
help, please anyone....

Try turning the phone off and then turn it back on by holding the camera and communication button. This should bring you to the boot loader screen at which time you can tehter to your pc and run the OEM RUU. That should do the trick.

German Vodafone Herald bricked
Hello,
could anyone here give me an Original Vodafone Rom to unbrick my Herald? It must not be WM6, WM5 would be sufficient. I only want my device to alive
Or is there another way to unbrick this phone? I only can get in bootloader modus and so i can not start the phone to CID unlock so that i can flash with another ROM like HTC Original.
So Have anyone a possibility to unbrick the phone or CID unlock from bootloader?

How to Unlock Artemis ONLY via mtty and bootloader mode having official Unlock Infos

The big question is:
Is there any chance to unlock my Artemis under these conditions?
1. Access to Artemis only via Mtty to Bootloader mode possible
2. Today a got the right Unlock Information for my MDA.
Here my sad story:
Step 1:
After upgrade my T-Mobile MDA COmpact III from vm5 to HTC_P3300_GER_3.13.407.1_4.1.13.44_02.94.90_Ship_R
for two day everything works fine. At this point my Artemis was locked (T-Mobile).
Step 2:
After one soft reset yesterday, Artemis cannot start any more. Boot-process stops on second Image (Windows-Mobile)
and don't go further.
Step 3:
First good news is: I can start my Artemis in to bootloader mode and connect my self with Artemis via mtty tool.
Step 4:
Second good news is: I got my unlock information for MDA, and received it from D-T-Mobile today.
What I need is one step-by-step description, how to proceed in this case, assumed, there is hope for me.
Dear community, I’m very frustrates. I need my PDA, need your help
and your my only hope.

- turn phone on (bootloader or whatever, connection to pc)
- try flash SPL
- if succesfull - flash any rom
- put another sim-card in phone and type your reg-code in phone

If the SPL or doesn't work... try some Dopod ROMs...
And if that doesn't work... try to find every rom there is and try them one by one

Can MDA Vario be flashed from SD-Card?

I have flashed my MDA Vario with a WM6 rom dutch witch worked fine. After i changed my pagepool to 6 MB and soft rebooted my MDA, it stared, but without phone functionalty. every program i try to start it gives me the message that it has no memmory to start the program.
No activesync connection (or any other connection) can be established. I have found some articles on flashing xda pda's from sd card. But in these articles they talk about .NBH files. The only file i can find in the update util is an .NBF file. Can anyone help me solving this issue?

Can you get into bootloader mode (tricolor RGB bands)? ("Get your phone in bootloader mode by doing this: Phone powered off, press Camera button + Power On, will enter into bootloader mode (RGB screen").
Once in bootloader mode you can reflash even though activesync says not connected - just look for little USB in corner of screen.

I have tryed it just a minute ago. I can enter the boot loader but the flashing fails at starting with the message "This update utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. Please get newer update utility". I have used the same flash tool as the rom image witch is now on the MDA.

Sounds more like CID locked after flashing the last ROM was flashed....cant u even flash any other wm6 ROM?

You should flash the original T. Mobile ROM from bootloader it should work. After you have the original running you can then re-flash WM6 using shelltool if your phone is CID locked. Try it and lets see how it goes.

You people are the greatest. I have tryed to flash my MDA Vario with the latest rom from t-mobile and now i have a fully functional mda again. BIG TNX for helping!!!

SPV M600 freeeze

I recently buy a SPV M600 and this was working fine! When a try unlock that for put a difrent company sim that never start up again! Now the item freeze on first screen, where that show the IPL,SPL,OS and GSM versions!
Anyone have solution for this problem? I try update the rom, for a RUU but the problem still .

Have you tried a Hard Reset? (Hold the Comm Manager button and the Camera button and soft reset)

yes, i try a hard reset, phone restart and freeze again!!
I think about it , and the phone are Sim locked and CID locked, is for that reason he freeze?

Is it a G3 device or a G4 device?
The SIM Lock shouldn't cause this, but try taking the SIM out and seeing what happens.

Sim card was always out, because it isn't unlock to put my sim.
Nobody can hep me? I upgrade the rom for the original of orange in same language but the phone continue freezing at start!

Normally, you should SIM unlock before flashing the ROM...
What brand is the device?

I think i found the problem! I didn't flash the rom before updating and didn't unlock CID. I am thinking now, how to repair the phone now!
So, the phone are sim locked and CID locked, i ll CID unlocking with hardspl, but i ll not can copying the necessery files into pda directory, like this said on "Rom flashing for dummies" on Wiki!! So can i flashing the rom from BootLoader?
The phone is in used condition, but it all functionally becuase i work with that before update the rom and have this problem!

If it's in/can get to bootloader, it should be possible to flash a WM5 NVID ROM. from there, you can HardSPL, SIM unlo ck and then flash a New ROM.
