Hello,
is there something that adds radio or TV functionality to my Kaiser, like a UKW Radio or DVB-T Adapter? There are DVB-Ts for Laptops via USB, but are there also ones for the Kaiser? Same goes for radio.
I don't believe that there is anything like this for the Kaiser. Although you can use something like orb to stream media from your computer to the kaiser.
Alright, thanks!

Hi, I just got the HTC Universal in the form of the i-mate JASJAR.
I toyed with, it connects great on my wireless LAN. It works great at picking up wifi hotspot signals and connecting to wifi networks. Great TFT screen. Great browsing experience.
I tried to connect it to my LaCIE ext. hard-drive with mini-usb to usb converter, but did not pick it up, it does not pick up usb mem. sticks either, either one needs extra drivers, or the mini-usb port is only meant to be used for syncing functions (although it is claimed that the mini-usb can also do host/client functions with extra software, maybe they will include that in a firmware upgrade in future). I am happy with the device, as I was happy with the i-mate pda2k, with in this case all the extra functionality and great ergonomics designs, it is fabulous...
Nabil H.
any chance it can be install with widcomm bt stack?
I'm getting mine on Wednesday. Can you verify that it can charge over usb? That is when you plug in you data cable supplied to your computer with the computer running.
Thanks,
Mike

Any luck to use our backpacks from xda2? Is it compatible?
Victor
it can charge over usb
and they include a pouch for it...
Hiya,
You'll all probably know that on the TouchPro, the HTC mini-USB jack allows headphones to be connected (via adaptor), as well as a 'remote' which answers/ends calls...
...which is excellent, because I was able to develop my own wired connection to my CK-7W car kit.
I would like to do the same for my SEX1, particularly given the unreliable nature of the bluetooth.
Q: Is the mini-USB port configurable to give audio-out, and potentially answer/end calls?
Kind regards,
Oms.

It should be, you can get usb headphones, with a talkbutton, that use a standard mini usb fitting.
the audio for the X1 goes to the 3.5mm jack? There is an answer button on the supplied cable.
I thought the USB port was only for USB and power - am I wrong?
I'm not sure most HTC phone have audio out by USB and Mobile fun has
HTC Multifunction Audio Cable YC A200
HTC TyTN/MDA Vario II 3-in-1 USB Adapter
HTC Multifunction Audio Cable YC A300
in the X1 area,
but can't find anything on the net saying it will work
I really want it to work so i only need to plug one cable in when its in the car phone and audio.
I would love to know if some one has tried them.
I'll let you knoe if i get one
I tried it with my Moto L7 USB headset. Nothing happens.
Sorry
I wish it would work too...
htc devices use the extUSB connector and use the extre pins not in normal miniUSB for these features
pins the normal miniUSB connecter the x1 uses don't have so it can't be don
x1 don't support usbHost so the miniUSb connector only have 2 functions
being connected to an usbHost like a computer
and charging no other functionality is possible for a device which
don't support usbHost
Hi Oms,
I've just came across your post about the wired connection you made from Touch Pro to ck-7w. I would like to make a similar setup for my Touch Diamond2. Could you please post your findings on this matter and connections details?
Is there an adaptor available that allows me to use my HTC headphones on my PC?
It would be nice to carry only one set. Thanks!
You could try buying the RC-E100 remote (using it myself works great), the HTC miniUSB connector is not really common, the 3.5mm jack in the RC-E100 remote is.
i'd like to connect my arc to my tv..but..it doesn't have hdmi input.
is there a way to connect the phone to tv?maybe an adaptor or something?
or I could use 3.5mm to RCA TV out cable, does arc have tv out through 3.5mm jack?
Thank you so much
There are HDMI to Composite/RCA converters, but for that price, you can get a cheap HDMI equipped telly.. (starting at around 80 Euro)
no -it can output via HDMI or for media you can use the media server app to stream directly to a DLNA receiver.. assuming that your TV doesn't have that built in.. however.. if you've got a PS3 that will. Xbox might (not sure about that.. just guessing!) and a lot of blueray players will too..
There is a way on LG G2 D802 to show screen on car screen?
Any cable or something? Thanx.
I had in my car usb connection that works with iphone, that sync music and contact. It can used with lg g2 too?
You need to do the investigation about what you car "screen" supports since you don't provide any info. In general the answer is no. Very few aftermarket radios have Mirrorlink built in. I am not aware of car radios with HDMI inputs, to be able to use a Slimport adaptor. If your radio has composite video input you can go Mirrorlink/Slimport to HDMI->composite adapter to radio but it's going to be rather clunky with all the cables and power adapters unless you can find a way to hide them behind the dash.
