New bluetooth stack in Kaiser ROM - Touch Cruise ROM Development

I was just looking at the Kaiser Development threads and noticed a new ROM from Laurentius26
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=396882
it includes a new Bluetooth stack....
"New Bluetooth stack which will solve the connecting problems! "
can this be ported to the Polaris cooked ROMs? I hope so......

really a good news here
since when there havn't had any new vedio driver news...hope that problem can also be solved one day.

bt stack from diamond is already precooked into many custom roms ....

The kaiser rom release I was mentioning was only 2 days old with a NEW BT stack. I would very much doubt any Polaris roms have been compiled using this new bt stack as yet.

As describe at original topic - its ported ROM from Diamond. And as wrote above - Diamond ROM already ported to many ROM for Polaris. Whats dont understood?

Can you tell me which roms have this new bluetooth stack? I just installed udk's diamond R2, but I continue to have bluetooth issues with my car. I'm guessing this doesn't have the new stack, but I am having trouble figuring out which do.

Best Bluetooth Stack/Drivers?

Hi guys!
I have my Magician (QtekS100) for over a year now, and I've been always very happy with it. One of my best purchases ever.
It has never gave me any problem until recently when I decided to purchases a GPS Bluetooth (Nokia LD-3W) and my nightmare started.
After many days of trying things, turns out this GPS is a bit special and doesn't like all BT Drivers/Roms.
As the Normal MS drivers won't work and I have to use others.
In your opinio what is the best BT Stack software?
My magician currently is ROM 1.06.03 ESN, ExtROM 1.06.117ESN, Radio 1.05.00, Protocol 1137.39 with the Toshiba Drivers.
Should I upgrade it to a new ROM?

new blue tooth stack isnt out yet.
the old bsch stack works fine.. has a few bugs..
the toshiba stack and the Bluesoleil stack is very buggy
cya
Bluesoleil wasn't buggy for me when used for wireless internet. What I didn't like was its incompatibility with my headset. And I'm not willing to switch every time so I returned to MS. I'd love to use the new BCHS stack, but noone's got it right now.
Btw: why did you just copy & paste? Please correct it, there are only BT stacks!
Btw2: please tell me the difference between "O2 MINI NEW BLUETOOTH STOCK" and "BT STACK(BCHS)"

Yes, I did copy from the Subject on other posts.
As far as I know the correct word is Stack and Stock is just misspelled
Stack applies to any Implementation of networking protocols, not just bluetooth.

You just got to love the Wikipedia!!!
BT Tools is the solution (for me at least)
try "bluetooth tools" this was the solution for me when I had Magician. worked for me with several BT GPS units + TomTom 5.21 and Falk/MarcoPolo Navigator 2004-2005
http://bluetooth.i-networx.de/index_e.html
I did not have any problems with my GPS receiver with either of the stacks. And I do know what a stack is. That's why I asked you to correct the spelling mistake.
I use Bluesoleil and am half-way happy.
Unfortunatly I cannot use MS stack because after some time it gives me the error about "please turn flight mode first", even if it is off.
Anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same problem with the original WM6 of Helmi.

Other roms have same problem!

No dice, I changed it from 1 to 2 and same results. It has been this way with every 6.x ROM I have flashed. Still waiting for a solution.
Bt problem
Hi !
And if we change the bluetooth broadcomm stack ? it was only an idea ....
Tamage
I also tried to increase the maxcommunications value with no success.
I haven't tried the stack software yet because in some posts, I've read that it solved the bluetooth file transfer but not our problem. Maybe I will try but I'm not confident on it.
I'm downloading the 6.1 ROM from PDAviet and will inform you in many minutes about my result.
Unfortunately, it's the same result with the 6.1ROM from PDAViet
I think that there isn't a solution for this problem...it's a limit of BT stack of BA.
No,it's not due do the BT stack of the BA because it runs perfectly with the original WM2003SE. It should be due to a BT different management from the OS WM5 and 6.

Well it didn't run "perfectly"on WM2003SE. It also was a main problem on that OS too. Especially in receiving calls. The opposite site wasn't heard!

I presume you meant to say a limit of the BT hardware in the BA not the stack as the stack is software. This is a known bug in the WM5/6/6.1 ROMS, multiple connections works fine in WM2003SE but not in the hacked ROMS.
On my MDA3 it works fine, BT GPS and BT Headset together.
Have a look here.
But sound ist only working on phone, the voice/sound from navi won't come.
I tried BTAudioToggle but all I got was random noise.

Bluetooth stack

Can anyone tell me what BT stack is used on the stock Touch HD and also what would be in Dutty's R6/R7 and Holy Grail ROMs?
Since these ROMS were from a Leo/HD2 which I believe uses the Widcomm stack, would I be correct in assuming that HD ROMS based on the HD2 would also use the Widcomm stack?
Is there a way to check on the device itself, so it'll report what stack it is using?
Does anyone know what bluetooth stack it uses?

Request for Bluetooth WIDCOMM Stack for HD2

Maybe that nobody understands your question. Widcomm bluetooth stack is in every HD2 rom - each stock rom and even in the cooked roms e.g. the Artemis rom.
no cab, extract a ROM, then look into sys folder and oemdriver...
Original bluetooth stack instead of Widcomm

@smaberg: I have the problem the other way: I use the HD2 with the Artemis rom and would very much like to get rid of the Widcomm bluetooth stack, because it does not work with my car. I have also a diamond (original stock rom with 6.1 and standard stack) and an old touch with an 6.5 Windows with standard stack. The original Windows bluetooth stack works with my car without any problems. Is there a way to deinstall Widcomm and to install the original Windows stack at my HD2?
+1 for removal of widcomm i have similar problem but mine connects with car sudio and works well but the stack mixes sound very bad, and you cannot control the volume level on phone. So for instance when im listening to music and fireup a navigation system the commands from the system are badly mixed in with music too loud choppy cracky etc it's pain to ears. Before on xperia (with smabergs rom ) i did not had such a problem the playback was plain and smooth.
best Regards
Another one here for a way to replace the Widcomm stack as it won't work with my igo / think outside bluetooth mouse.
The stack seems to be different than from others.
I can send bluetooth messages from my HD2 to other bluetooth clients, no problem. But the HD2 does not ".AcceptBluetoothClient()"(32feet.net) so maybe the stack is somehow broken. The stack just works in one direction
anyone got Bluetooth stack "improven"
This BT Stack is crap. I can't get this device working as other phones do.
Anyone has a solution for it?
I have a Pioneer AVH-4100 car in-dash Multimedia system + CD-BTB200 Bluetooth adapter! And i can't seem to do the following:
1- Dial numbers
2- Access phonebook
3- Voice recognition
Everything else works fine, but unfortunately the most important features doesn't..
I wish JETware was compatible with the HD2..
Any idea what to do?
thx

Anyone tried to install MS Bluetooth Stack?

Anyone tried to install MS Bluetooth Stack?
I dont think you can just "install" a BT stack.... although I wish you could...
it is possible tbough with a lot of driver modifications.
For sure it will be required to cook the MS bluetooth stack into the ROM instead of just install, but many other parts of the rom are using the widcomm stack so it will be a big job.
Its a shame, because i found the sound via A2DP was better via the MS stack, and other users have found the widcomm stack unreliable with car kits or hands free headsets.
I think a better approach would be for a updated widcomm stack
whether they update the widcomm stack, or change it for MS, I don't care, I just wish HTC would hurry up and do it... so many people have problems with it.
I've tried and failed... The Leo and the Rhodium use different BT/Wifi chipsets that arent compatible with the MS BT Stack
Oh dear, that doesn't sound good.
Thank you very much for trying to do it anyway NRG.
