Hi
I have been trying to install Bepe 0.67 for many hours without any luck. I have booted polaris in bootloader mode and then plugged it in to usb cable. My computer found a new device and installed device drivers. When it finished i started the firmware installation phone went to installation modus from bootloader that means 0% installation bar. Then it stood there nearby 10 minuttes without any progress. I have tried that many time without any luck. My polaris is HTC based can anyone guide me with the installtion.
Thanks

Hello,
can some one help me please.
I try to flash my touch cruise and at 99% his stop.
after i just have 3 color screen and can't flash.
I try hard reset but it still color screen.
in the screen i got :
POLA100
SPL-1.25.0000
CPLD-2
Which rom did you try to flash on your device? I would suggest to check out the threads that relate to that rom. If you have used Olipro's hard-spl and followed all the steps for flashing the rom, maybe you could ensure your device is fully charged, that the file you have downloaded (rom) is not corrupted and try flashing it again.

You had to hard-spl your device first!!
I have use Hard-SPL-V2 and when it get at 99%, it stop and then i get the 3 colors screen.
the rom I want to flash is the bepe 0.56.
Is my phone is over or I can get it work again.
I alreasy try to flash with the original HTC rom also, but don't work.

Sorry, just to be clear. It only gets to 99% of the Hard SPL V2? So the problem is not the rom you tried to flash but the Hard Spl?
The Hard-SPL-V2 that i have try is by Olipro, and I follow all the instruction.
I don't know why he stop at 99%.
I ask SFR, and they can't do anythink.
I think it's over for my phone .
I will try to ask HTC if they can do something and how it will cost.
hope give you good news .
Flash Problem
Hello,
I have the same problem...do you already have solution for your case ?!?!
Thank you in advance !
Ignore this post - I had IE troubles and double posted - See next post
Just to be very very clear since you are talking of HardSPL and of bepes ROM and mix all up:
You did not apply HardSPL to your device!
A device which has HardSPL applied would read "Pola100 MFG, SPL-2.20.Olinex, CPLD-2" at the 3-color-screen. Your device is still with the original bootloader. I suggest you try applying the HardSPL V2 again until it works or you get bored. Exactly follow instructions given in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=370434
Hello, i had the same problem, i just soft reset my device and flash it back, it went up to 100% without any problem
Not working
Hello,

You did something wrong. You have still original spl!
The correct steps:
Download hard-spl.
Plug your pda to pc.
On Pc run RomUpdateUtiliy (from Hard-spl folder)
Now you will see on PDA a tricolor screen and will be asked replug your usb cable. DO IT.
After Few minutes pda will reboot, hard-spl is installed.
Download the rom.
Now, STEP MANUALLY to bootlader. (press and hold camera, and press reset)
You will see a tricolor screen with OLINEX on your pda.
On the pc run the RomUpdateUtiliy (from the downloaded rom folder)
After Few minutes pda will reboot, new rom is installed.
See the images attached please.
I never get the "Replug information".
It's strange that Image version doesn't appear...
Thank in advance !
Now you will see on PDA a tricolor screen and will be asked replug your usb cable. DO IT.
On your PDA screen !
Not on your computer screen.
For information for my Polaris.
I found a phone shop in Paris, the boss of the shop say he can do something and I wait if he could or not.
Hope he will get me good news.

I really hope someone can help.
I followed the Hard Spl unlock instructions and all seemed to work well.
I then tried to install the original HTC WWE ROM and it froze at 24% reporting an error. I followed the recovery steps but noticed to my horror that the original SPL -1.25.0000 has reappeared.
I am unable to do anything and have the coloured bootloader screen. Attempts to run the Hard SPL unlock freeze at 0% can anyone help please........
What did you do?
Step by step from the beginning!
Step by step to destruction!
I ran the HardSpl unlock utility as per the detailed instructions. It worked well and I saw the new SPL screen. I unplugged the USB as per the instructions and ran the HTC original ROM Rom updater. All went well until IT REACHED 24% on the screen and on the PC - then it froze.
I waited 30 minutes hoping it would unfreeze but sadly............
I then removed the USB cable and attempted a hard reset. This brought me back to the Bootloader screen with the original SPL displayed.
Further attempts to load the HTC ROM produce an error telling me it cannot be installed on this device. I now have a very expensive paper weight.
Any help much appreciated.

Maybe here was the problem...
If you have hard-spl on your machine (in bootloader you see Olinex) after you do not have to replug the usb cable.
Just run the romupdateutility.
Now it seems you have original spl...
In this case you can not install not offical rom. You sould try the offical Orbit 2 rom.
I THINK U HAVE TO TRY HARD-SPL, are u shure u,ve done allready?
Resurrection!
In desperation and believing I had nothing to lose I attempted to flash an O2 Artemis
ROM to the Polaris. It got to 2% failed but rebooted the device to the original ROM.
I had previously tried hard and soft restes and could get no further than bootloader screen.
I don't know or understand what happened but my phone is alive again.
I would wan anybody abut the Hard Spl Unlock.....it caused me major hasslr.
Thanks to those who tried to help me.
clearly you didn't get Hard-SPL, you got the soft-spl
congratulations for your massive fail.

^ Lol, he's the guy who came up with the Hard-SPL, so as you can imagine he's a little pissed off about the criticism.
Confusion
Thw file that I downloaded and used was "Hard-Spl-V2" This is what caused the problem.

Clarification
I am looking for someone who has actually succeeded - not just the theory!
Here are some:

Success
I must eat humble pie - it obviosuly was due to some error on my part that the ROM replacement failed. I have now been successful. The Hard Spl unlock works perfectly, and I will send a payment to show my gratitude!

SPL-3.13.0000
CPLD-2
Someone can help me?

Why double posting?
Do some more reading about how to flash. There are millions of posts about that, with many tips and tricks.
Active synch your PDA
On the PDA tap yes to the two prompts to load programs#
When you get to the tri colour screen unplug the usb lead - wait a couple of seconds - plug back in and the install should continue and jump from 0% to 100% quickly.
It Works!!!!
Thanks a lot, i have spedn 3 days trying to intall it and reading the forum.
Thanks a lot.

Error may appear due to corrupt image ROM. download the entire RUU and try again.
In General for archive with firmware.
I've already tried with another RUU but it works the same; really it means not to recognize the ROM installed because if I run the utility and click update to read the ROM just installed and the ROM to update, the utility recognizes only the new but not the present ROM.
The first time I ran it, the utility recognized the installed ROM too and it finished well.

Hi guys, I just got an HD2 and I am new to flashing ROMs on it, but I am not really a beginner because my previous phone was an ETEN x500 and I flashed a ton of ROMs successfully on that phone. However on this one I am running into a problem.
I successfully installed the bootloader HSPL without any problems. Then, I wanted to do task29 before I installed a new ROM. I followed all the instructions fine, I click NEXT until the device enters bootloader mode, then I see a black loading screen on my HD2 with the HTC logo on it. The problem is the loading bar stays at 0% no matter what I do, it won't install the ROM. After about 5 minutes it gives me the following error message:
www . screensnapr . com/u/icpiuj.png
When I click on the "View Document" button, I get the following message:
www . screensnapr . com/u/dhiria.png
(it won't let me post offsite links to images because I only have a few posts, but I mean no harm with them, I'm just trying to explain my problem. )
I have tried uninstalling ActiveSync and reinstalling, changing USB slots on my PC, I removed the microSD card and the SIM card, I tried entering bootloader mode manually and then running task29, but it all fails with the same results.
The phone still works fine, I disconnect the USB cable from the phone after the flashing failed, and remove the battery for 3 seconds and then the phone starts fine with the original ROM. So there is nothing wrong with it.
What could be the problem please?
Thanks for your help.
Hi everyone, sorry for doubleposting but I have found my solution. I had an incorrect HSPL version installed somehow, although I did follow the tutorial here: forum.xda-developers. com/showthread.php?t=653614
I downloaded the HSPL version linked on that thread and it didn't work.
Then I downloaded the one I found here that said specifically for TMobile HD2: www .mobileunderground. info/showthread.php?t=7997&highlight=HSPL+1024%20..
and this one worked great. I have my custom ROM running now.
HSPL3 is the latest and can be found here somewhere. You must not have had SPL 2.10. Glad you got it to work!
