My Dopod 818 Pro Died please help me please!

Guys I need some help. My Dopod 818 pro died today. I don't know what happened. It wont start or soft reset or even hard reset. Only thing is it keeps blinking, the screen, the power and bluetooth led. anyone can help me here? Thank you.

Bootloader mode
Some update, I'm able to access the bootloader mode while my set is plugged to the mains. Is there anyway I can flash my rom using sd card?

more details would b helpful. For example, were u flashing the ROM? Or did it just die suddenly on its own?
Try taking the batt out over night.... or perhaps you didn't do your hard reset properly. You're supposed to press the camera & comm manager button and hold them while you poke the reset hole...
Try taking out your SIM card and hard reset.... if all fails, you probably have fried board.

If you are able to access bootloader mode, then you should be able to flash the ROM using a ROM provided by Dopod.

Mains only
Yup my friend tried to flash the rom for me and he messed it up. he flashed the wrong rom. i can't reflash tru usb because i only can get to bootloader when connected to the mains.

The problem is that i can't turn it on. only on mains

If it died while flashing, then as DILS said, you should be able to reflash it again and again....

Kjam is not booting.

I really need your guys help!!!
a few weeks ago, i lost my battery and i recharged it using USB cable and battery.
It was boot up and i was testing it and keep reboot up. It was work!!
But after a hour left, can not boot up again.
I recharged my battery using USB cable ( cut it off and using red and black wire)
I did hard reset. ( Still not work)
try to flash rom, but can not do it. I was in Bootloder and when i attached USB cable to my kjam, it show off that USB on the screen with 3 colors.
I tried all the way, but still can not boot up.
My PDA show blue screen with I-Mate and
IPL 2.16.0001
SPL 2.16.0001
GSM 02.20.11
OS 2.16.9.1
Please guys help me to boot up my Kjam.

my Qtek 9000 just went dead and wont turn on!!

I upgraded my uni with ranju rom 2months ago and worked perfect.Yesterday after a call the uni froze when i restarted, the uni black out. have tried both hard and soft reset. Nothing happens in soft reset, but hard gives U " Press 0 to restore to factory default and X to exit". but if i press 0, the uni goes off again.,

Battery? Can you enter a bootloader and re-flash the ROM?

I can't get pass "Press 0 to restore to factory default -Press X to exit" screen

i also have same problem with you. and i have connect my device to PC usb cable, then PC detect my universal but cant recognize it as pocket pc.
please anyone help us.....

hi all, and thanks in advance for reading this thread.
my cousin gave me his qtek 9000 saying that it was dead. being a dumbass, me decided to try and give it back life. as mentioned before, me a dumbass. After seaching the web for hours, i would normally be now saying, i give up. but no.
so , please. help.
the only thing i can tell u is that when i plug it in the pc, a red light starts bleeping. Won't turn on, soft and hard reset do not seem to make any effect, nor the power+light button.
again, please, help.

Had exactly the same...my qtek 9000 was just lying in the closet for a long time and would not boot anymore...
When I used it last time al was fine. I figured a dead battery so bought a new one...
It would give me the red LED while charging, would not be recognised on the computer etc.
Did a hard reset and then got it into the bootloader...
Had to run my laptop on XP as under Win7 it would fail to flash or do anything, but under XP it flashed properly.
After flash installed my back-up and all seems to be running fine now!
May be it helps anybody...

I'm trying to cook a rom... but now I'm ...
MY PHONE is BOOTING and BOOTING and BOOTING, I connect the USB CABLE and then the phones turns ON and HTC screen apears then He reboot Again... and again and again...
I already try to flash the Stock Rom and Had the same problem...

Did you Hard SPL it? Also if you from turned off, Hold Volume Down and Power, does it boot into the tri color mode? If so you can get the image file and follow these steps here

To bring you back to square one, then hard spl it correctly and load your rom, I prefer energy, see my sig for that link.

Maybe you should enter the bootloader? try and flash a cooked rom or stock rom to see if it still works

I Already do that... but still the same...
I thinking that is batery down... when I unplugged the USB cable the phone deads...
I had another battery in work, tomorrow I will see,,, because e don't charge...

He Won't Pass HTC blank screen when and turn ON... e reboot and reboot and reboot...
EDIT: Already Find The Problem ... A Pin in Batery connecte was wrong...

Herald won't turn on

Hello,
first of all: sorry for my bad English, I will try to make you understand it.
I have a problem with my Herald. I hardspled it and put a rom on it. It worked really well, but I wanted it to be in my own language so i downloaded another ROM. During the installation of that ROM (I did it with ROMUpdateUtility), the phone fell off the PC and the cable pulled out. The phone was stuck in bootmenu and later went out.
Now I can't get it on anymore. I can't charge it (well, maybe it's charging, but there are no lights at all), I can't turn it on, I can't connect it to the PC ( the PC doesn't reccognize it) and I can't get into Bootmenu.
I tried a soft reset and a hard reset, but nothing happens. Is there a solution or do I have to buy a new phone?
