I have a big problem, i when i started my SPV M650 (Orange phone) 2 days ago it didn't want to start (blocked on orange splash screen) so i made a hard reset and it was working.as i didn't want to keep orange OS i tried to flash it.
As a newbie, i tried to flash it with a HTC Rom without unlocking the CID. and..... didn't work !
Retry : updater says no system at all was installed on the phone then, it had passed by and installed the rom (don't know why)
yap, installed but didn't work! still blocked on splash screen sometimes go on WM6 welcome screen and one time accessed the Windows Mobile.
And one hour later.... black screen !
So, i tried to reflash it in bootloader mode with the original orange ROM, it worked, but still blocked on the orange splash screen and the OS version written on this screen was 1.84.0.0 (it should be 1.84.73.2) and screen was brightening so reflash a second time with that original rom, error 276: update error. Now everytime i start the phone, it is in bootloader mode with RUU written on it (in update process i suppose) and everytime i retry to update, error 276: update error. then tried with SD card: card no recognized and still blocked on the bootloader mode update process.
So,
- is there a way to update or flash the bootloader ?
- has my phone his hardware totally crashed
(because i think orange won't never accept warranty, even in normal way they only accept it when you are dying front of their door, and its not sure if they could kill you just for pleasure they'll do)

I have an unblocked SPV M560 (HTC3300).
Few weeks ago I have installed the B&B rom with WM6 on it. Now I would like to install the adinfinitum rom (http://www.adinfinitum.fr/wm6_gps_m6...d_and_the_ugly) to solve the GPS problem we can have with the M650 but I cannot flash anymore.
Here are some explanations:
After starting "start_uspl.exe" I get the Linux screen then the RUU application starts on my PC. RUU is trying to connect to the device but after few seconds it displays the error "ERROR[260]: Update error".
After this I tried to restart the pda, wait for Activesync connection and try to restart RUU.
This time RUU can connect, I can see the grey screen on the PDA and it starts updating... but after 2% I get a black screen on the PDA and RUU displays the error "ERROR[270] Update error".
I'm now reading this forum since 2 days and saw that other people already had this problem but I did not find any working solution.
Does anyone of you have an idea of what can I do to solve this problem?s

Remove sim and mem card from phone use clear storage to clean phone memory then again try start_uspl.exe wait to 100% finsh do not disconect phone and run then romupdateutility i hope that this can help mine problem is resolved and i flash spv m650 many times.
Hi, i have similary problem, when i try re-install WM on my xda orbit 3.15.118 i have alert : flashing error check your update utility..when i try install another WM6 i have alert : error 270:update error

Hi,
I finally managed to do the update. The only difference is that when RUU has started after getting the black screen I clicked on the cancel button.
After this I let the terminal with this black screen for few minutes (about 5 minutes) and starts again the RUU application.
And this time is works... don't ask my why, maybe it takes some time to the terminal to be ready to accept connections. At least now SPL 1.1 is installed and I can upgrade. My GPS is now working

Iam new to the flashing
I have herald (HTC P430 HERA) with wm5 ,i tried to upgrade to wm6 with TOUCH-IT.I installed the SPL and then ran the RUU ,everything was perfect the installation started normally ,durin the installation i chose the option to use the keylock ,when my htc started it kept on asking me the password on the device which i entered but it did not accepted .i kept on trying and eventually took out the battery.When i restarted the device it got stuck on a green scnreen with spl 1.08.0001 and when turned off i tried going in to the bootloader but everytime i run the same ruu it gives me erorr 300 i have tried several times now, donwloaded each and every ruu but all in vain and im in pain .sometime the screen get stuck on 0% . Can somebody help or atleast direct me to the right area.
at least it we could reach 1% rom update can be done

you need to install enablerapi....

You have to download the official Tmobile RUU (google it), and reinstall it. After that before you try to flash your phone you have to take the Enablerapi cab and put it on your phone. After that do a hard reset. If you dont know what that is by now you shouldnt be flashing your phone. But anyway hold the buttons above the talk and end buttons and press the reset button at the same time. A black screen will come up and ask you to press the talk button (green button), press it and the phone will do a reset. Configure your screen and connect phone to active sync/WMDC and make sure you put the phone in airplane mode. Then run the uspl again and follow the directions on the screen.
I tried to downgrade my 5600 to wm2003se that was the original os and I had upgraded it to wm6 but want to go back and since I didnt make a backup of the rom I used the updater from Orange to try and downgrade it after following some instructions I saw on a website.
But now the phone just show the orange uk startup screen then goes into the bootloader I tried using the imate wm2003se update it updated successful but when I start the phone a get the imate startup screen and then it goes into the bootloader again. Another thing is that the updaters when I ran them (I reran the orange uk updater so the orange rom is now on the phone again) both show that there was no rom loaded to the phone, all the information the phone model and the other info are completely blank.
I've tried looking up how to fix it but the only solution all the sites give me I cant do cause I dont have a sd card and even if I did my computer cant read sd cards and I dont have a sd card reader either.
I'm sure your wondering about the version of my bootloader it version 1.x, sorry I cant be more specific cause the phone screen does work properly and the only way to get it to show properly most of the time is to push the end call button up and hold it there. A solution to that would appreciated as well but right now I'm more wanting a solution for the bootloader problem I'm having.
I up my shadow to 6.1 . The first time it went to 100% and restart with an error 270 : the image is corrupt . After, when I boot loader, it go to 2% and restart every time ( many)
When it restart, I can't enter the homescreen, it came to the green screen and hang.

I'm stucked at bootloader mode and tried many roms but no one sucsess ... all of them reach 2% and then stopped.
even I tried the original one (Shadow_Software_Update_1.11.531.5.exe) from t-mobile official site but also same result.
so can any one help me and give me any solution to try?
have you guys both ran the CID unlocker?
dear t mobile shadow rom developpers,I've the same problems as the other,and I think that the phone should be cid unlocked via bootloader,as in my case,I've recently flashed my shadow with wm6.0 but their was an electricity faillure,and now it just hang on the splash screen,and when I use mtty and set 32,I saw that my device is cid locked but mine has no os for now,and I can do hard reset,enter bootloader,but I'm not able to flash any over os,as well as the original t mobile rom,so please,help us to revive our loved phone,please,I love this phone so much but I have not enough money to buy a new one

I have the msn account:[email protected] .Once again,just to make the resume of the whole story if I remember well:The trinity was with the initial sfr 300+ software(wm5);I installed the oli1.20 flashed it with some other ROM software,did not like it and returned to the original one.Then I tried to flash it with the ROM software where all went wrong...After 1 % the screen went blank and all I can do with the device is to put it into the boot-loader mode where it says:

IPL-0.50
TRIN100
SPL-1.07.0000
When I extracted the file,I discovered that it has 2 nbh-files.I think that is the reason of my defete.Afterwords I have tried all sorts of the first aid solutions : splxploit-windows cannot connect to the device;it says that there is no WCEUS-file and therefore it cannot continue.I have tried to re-flash it through the sd-card:I re-formatted the card on fat32,without any name,put the original ROM and tried to let it boot that way.No success,it marks:loading ... and after 3-4 secs it returns into the boot-loader mode with the same message mentioned above ...

sir me too have same probelems, but ma 2 htc trinity dnt stuck at bootloaders, its to to operator logo and stuck there, i have 2 phones with this probelem.

1: Boot into BL (camera + power + reset hole)
2: Download the GPS enabled ROM from HTC Support, NOT from a rapidshare/megaupload/4shared etc.. mirror.
3. Flash the ROM, but use the hardspl flasher.(For some reason, it doesn't go error 270 if I use this flasher).
4. Hard Reset again.

I have a HTC P3600 and after i make a hard reset the screen goes all black, i already try flash the phone but don't result.
If i try to make a hard reset again the screen shows "press ok to make hard reset" after that goes black again.and its completing %100 but when i want restart its still doesnt work just black screen. just working light =(
So i think not display problem.

Any chance of sharing the solution, guys, my SPV M700 has similar problems. I tried to flash it with the TRIN-SSPL rom, but it kept saying I need a newer version of the update software.
Now all I have is it gets stuck on the green Windows load up screen and when I reset (Camera-PWR Button-Reset) it goes onto the bootloader tri-color screen, similar to what Goranchen had on his. What do I do now, I would really like to use the phone on another network, and I have looked after it really well, I think, so would be a shame to throw it away. Please help!!
