how to edit registry? is that need any software?
For people like you, it's better to stay away from the registry until you understand more of it.. here's a better way to do it...
start -> Settings -> Connections(tab) -> Beam
Check the Receive all incoming beams checkbox...
see is this works...

Secured WIFI Setting

anyone here knows if there's any wifi program that can let me configure "WEP LEAP" setting?
thanks in advance...
My Cingular 8525 has a wireless LEAP tab. But I don't use it.
What do you have? What do you want to configure?
LEAP should set the encryption key automatically.

Reg file with wireless configuration

O2 Exec Universal wifi registry settings

Would someone be able to send a screenshot or backup of their registry settings for WIFI. It's under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
COMM
tiacxwln1
parms
An entire registry backup might be nice too. I have very weak wifi and am looking for a solution. There are no answers to this problem on this site.
well, I guess I'm done. No wifi.

HKLM\System\State\Connections does not exist

Hi,
I'm trying to use a suggestion I read on another thread for checking if the Wifi is connected to a specific SSID using the value of HKLM\System\State\Connections\Network\Descriptions. But I just found out that I have no such entry in the registry. I have a HKLM\System\State but no "Connections" in there. Any ideas why?
Thanks in advance.

i assume u saw in another post of yours i answered this?
Yeap howdykeith. Saw it and responded. My first test was to look at the registry entry with the wifi active ;-) but nothing there.
do you see the "Desktop" setting under connections when establishing ActiveSync connection?
