Need a Rom

Hi everyone i had the touch it 2.3 rom in my t-mobile wing. I like it for a while because of the cube But i see no point of it SO I SWITCH back to its original t-mobile rom. I search around for simple roms and i found PDAVIET.. I dont really know much about it but i know its a 3rd party rom.. The only things is that i cannot find one that doesnt have the cube in it. Any suggestion guys!
You could make your own its sorta fun if you follow the guideline. I Tried them all and decided I just wanted a trimmed stock rom. I removed the VoiceCommander and My5Fave and a few other things. Applied a the 4mb pagefile mod and I'm very happy. Don't get me wrong all the popular ROM's are extremely well built and highly functional. But I like my system simple and not cluttered with more than I use. I just backup my favorite cab files as Read Only on my memory card and install them as I need them.
PDAViet has the cube...
Ok, I have a solution for you. Try Open Touch here:

There are two versions (with and without cube) and both are very nice, easy and simple install, nice interface, no big issues to worry about. It is based on ITJE's 2.3 ROM, which in turn I believe is the same a stock ROM, only modified! Good luck.

Is there any clean WM 6.1 ROM

I'm looking for clean WM 6.1 ROM - i.e. no 3-rd party applications included - just as it is being shipped.
I want to customize it myself.
Hi osavioro,
I am working in a clean rom WM6.1, however it is half difficult to obtain aid this way…. it would be made use to cooperate?
I am constructing one based in the ROM of the SDK of the MS…
I'd love a clean install as well. I appreciate all the work the cookers do, but every 6.1 ROM has something I'd like to remove but can't. Unfortunately I don't have the skills to cook a vanilla ROM for myself.
I just use my Trinity for calender, contacts, phone and GPS navigation.
yeah me too

me too You can count me in guys. I would like to help to produce a clean 6.1. I already have some attempts on 19206 and 19701 builds.
This is my current rom and I like it a lot is pretty clean and stable,I don't lose my email, wifi settings.....give it a shot.

I would help ... but unfortunately I do not understand a bit about cooking ROMs.
Even more unforunately is that I don't have any spare time for learning, although it is quite interesting.
I am working to only create a clean ROM - WM6.1 with drivers for the P3600. Already I tried to get aid through the forum however I was not answered. I am using my PDA for the tests. As soon as possible I will be publishing a ROM Beta for tests. If possible, still it would like aid in this process.
To generate the ROM I tried to disassemble some ROMs of the forum to understand, however its creators had placed some protections, thing that I find that he goes against the principles of the cooperation.
I placed some topics questioning on what I would have to make and was not taken care of. For the S200 I found a ROM clean (Korand 3,1 - thanks!!! ) how I could work and transform into what I wanted, already for the P3600 is difficult, the people they do not want to help nobody, they only want that I make a donation!
I understand "hard work" that it is to generate a ROM, but I find that the knowledge the respect could be shared.
Thanks for all!

How to build ROMs?

Elow.
Can someone tell me how to build HD2 Roms? I mean - there are so many ROMs out there, but how were they built? There aren't tutorials. So I think it cannot be really difficult.
I actually imagine, that you start with the normal clean HTC ROM. Then you install your Cabs, etc., use some registry tweaks, maybe some visual changes, and that's it. Then you have to "save" the actually ROM, or better said: you make a backup of it. (Dunno how to do this.)
Yep.
Is this right? Or how does it work? Can anybody help me or give me a short tutorial?
Cheers.
No there's no tutorials on this site...

customizable rom: dream or reality?

i tried some roms. now i am trying energy roms.
i don't use a lot of cooked programs and manila tabs. these programs cannot be removed.
is possible to create rom that user can customize after hard reset? after 1st boot, system could ask me which programs and manila tabs want to be installed. so user can choose between light or rich rom, depending on his taste.
for cookers: is a realizable idea or not?
thanks

everything is possible, but to develop this would take many MANY hours and probably you will be a master chef yourself before this would happened. cooking or learning how will give you the option to cook a rom after your taste

make a rom custom

Hello everyone !!!
I want to try to create a small custom rom from a stock ROM.
I would like to remove a maximum application from the stock ROM, but I'm afraid to remove applications that should not be.
So my question is:
Does anyone have to list a maximum of bloatware to remove?
