finaly i killed my MDA t-mobile with wrong flash :(

i used this flash
damn i killed my phone i tryed this flash

and now the phone wont boot any help now please please ????

You can try to reninstall your frimware. IF you follow the instructions in the upgrade thread it should be like upgrading your phone from nothing. Which is quite the upgrade

yes but i can't get in boot mode i mean phone is total put no power strange??

See if you could get into Boot-loader mode. Then just Flash with a good suited ROM from ftp.

the ftp is not ok so how to flash without a boot mode i mean i need to click camera and power buton same time and to reset but after a bad flasg my phone is not powering on how to get into the boot mode thx

Yesterday i^ve make a setup for the ext_rom but with a wrong update. It was been not for the Artemis..my fault.
Now i see only th et-mobile start screen and no more.
What can i do? Thanks in advance..

hmm, please flash your p3300 whith the original software with hope that it will be alive again. otherwise you can take an hardreset on your phone but i'm sure that there will not happened.
is your PDA an original fom HTC or from any other Provider?

it`s from t-mobile
and a hardreset doesn`t work and it`s not successful.
How can i flash it again...how i get usb connection to do it?

hello there!. i have the same problem, did you manage to get a usb connection? i can't flash it...

Try to get it into bootloader ( Read the Artemis wiki as to how to get into bootloader) and if you are successful then try flashing it with the t-mobile stock rom.

To get into bootloader - hold down the record/voice command button (top left along the side of the phone) and use the stylus to press the recessed reset button on the lower left side of the phone (same side as the other boutton you hold down) Keep holding the record button as you hit and release the reset button, you will eventually see a screen with color bars on it. At this point you will be able to get a USB connection, but not an active sync. Try to start the ROM file when the phone is in this state and connected to your computer.

MDA Compact III stops in T-mobile logo screen
I manage to enter bootloader and start flashing a ROM but I allways get a error: image file corrupted.
I think I need the original Dutch T-mobile ROM.
Anyone know where to find it?

Hi I have the same problem. I have the B&B3.7 and get stuck in the splash screen. I could enter to the bootloader mode and use some commands of the mtty.
I have my old rom, how may i load it to the pda? I have a SD and a tytn to load something in it.

run uspl first!!! you can then run installation from any provider of your choice.

USPL cannot be run if your phone is stuck into bootloader?
It starts counting, askts to copy the same information again several times, and get stuck at 50... how is this possible, anyone has the original HTC Dutch rom ? May be the WM5 also! Thanks!

i have done the same mistake
have tried to upgrade my T-MOBILE MDA COMPACT III(aka htc p3300) with the HTC TOUCH ROM
it started to upgrade and an error occured
then i have lost the display and all
when i connect it to my laptop using USB i hear a beep in my computer but active syn didnt find any device
i dont know what to do now..please help me it has to be recovered
there must be some way pls pls anyone help me to get my working phone back

well you have to get the original ROM for your device.. see their website.. it should be there for free. or try to get it from anyplace.. (the original rom)
and then flash it using SD Card flashing

Atom flash ROM Success, stuck at Update Utility Screen

My Atom flash wm5 ROM everything successfull, but when i cold reboot or normal reset, always go to Update Utility Screen. Can't go into the system.

Try to reflash it again, got the same problem before. Check if you can go to bootloadler and reflash.

put device in boot loader mode press "camera button + reset". If boot loader is not working. just try to reflash the unit again using DSUU, but make sure your unit still have ample enough of batt.
or try other suggestions posted in here.
but for me above mentioned steps work.

No problem, I was sweating and crossed my finger when that happend to my unit before. I thought i'll say goodbye to my atom.

I use Chinese Version WM6 ROM to flash it, for Step 1 CE ROM update are successfull, but Step 2 Bootloader get error, can't flash.
Without touching anything ( Remove cable or reset ), i try to use English Version WM5 ROM to flash it, Step 1 CE ROM update stuck in 0%, device screen blind. Wait for 5 min, still maintain 0%. Try to reset, can see O2 welcome pic, wait for a moment can go to setup screen, everthing is ok. Go into system try other function all can work, but when i reset. It return back to Update Utility Screen, same as previous problem again, put in battery automatic go to Update Utility Screen. Can't go into system again !
Anyone can help ?

Where did you aquire this Chinese rom, perhaps you must ask the author or you could keep reading, try the Wiki!

Thank you for your help, now can go into system. But no radio, want to flash in Active Sync, show me Country ID Error, into Bootloader flash, show me connection error. Would you mind to help in this also ?

if there is no radio, could have been a flash problem. try to reflash it again.
try changing USB cable aswell it can be a faulty one

Already test in 4 different USB cable and in different computer also. Still display Country Error in Activesync and Connection Error in Bootloader....

Hmmmmm thats odd? it should have been fix, oh well better get advice from where you got the rom or do a little reading in the wiki

Already can connected and flash any ROM, but new problem come out.
Comupter stuck at Stage 5 0% among 3 hrs still maintain 0%, but my device show Burn Radio MOT 100% completed
So i try to unplug the USB cable, my computer immediatly show Connection Error. After i hard reset my device, everything OK except No Radio ( NO GSM ).
Any advise

cingular 8125 dead after flash

i have tried to flash my 8125 with shelltool,i have followed all steps till end.
when i try to restart my mobile,nothing happen.
i just put the power to on and i have only the the rom versio which appears on the screen and last like this with nothing else,no windows start nothing even not activesyncro that mean i am even not able to reflash again.
please help

Have tried pulling out the battery? Flashing a stock rom first? Can you enter the tri-color screen? What spl did you install?

no i don't install any spl.i try it but my phone will not sync becoz phone was gone start.i wont to start my phone only.
it give one error
device start up failed due to sudden loss of power.please click "yes" to continue.
note.
do not remove battery before device has been completely shutdown off

i was find my device id -ELF010050, CID -DOPOD0100 and i flashed my phone with those roms like
1)RUU_Elfin_DOPODASIA_WWE_2.20.707.1G_4.1.13.51_03.07.90_GREEN_Ship_Reduced
2)RUU_Elfin_hTC_Asia_India_3.07.720.03_4.1.13.71_03.34.90_BLUE_Ship
3)RUU_Elfin_hTC_Asia_WWE_3.07.707.02_4.1.13.71_03.34.90_BLUE_Ship(frome official web site htc/asia.com)
flashing was complete 100% but my phone don't start from smart mobility.

you need version CID and Device ID and the latest version here
and after you finish you can Up rom 6.1-6.5...ect

i know that but my device not cid unlocked so i can't flash Hard-SPL.it going only on bootloader mode.
