booting problem for O2 XDA IIs mini - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

I am having O2 XDA IIs mini and facing a problem that whenever i soft reset my phone it displays band of three colour Red Green and Blue on the screen and it do not boot.
when I press jointly communication button + recording button on the right side of the mobile and reset button holding other two it boots in a proper way
After booting the buttons on the mobile like up down send stop buttons stops working but when i press the messaging button and internet explorer button (Hardware Buttons) one by one the all the button starts working properly
please help me rectify the problem

I would suggest reflashing an official ROM back on there first and see if that fixes the problem. If you haven't ever falshed a new ROM on it you might also want to check and see if maybe theres some dirt or something keeping the camera button depressed. That would cause you to boot directly into the bootloader (the 3 colored screen), but since you get it to boot with the second method you try and it doesn't boot directly in to camera mode that probably isn't the cause.

Wallaby bootloader v5.15 when switched on

hi i recently switched on my phone witch worked perfectly ok before i switched it of and left it with my brother.........now when i switch it on and after a bit of fiddleing with the buttons i cant get it to boot up. all it will say is
"Wallaby
bootloader
v5.15 "
when switched on.
When i hit the contact button up the top right hand side
it displays a white screen which has "utilities" on it
When i hit the notes button up the top left hand side
it displays a white screen which has "Flash tools" on it
then it freezes
Whats wrong with it
[/b]
Normaly you enter the bootloader by pressing the power button and sticking in the little hole on the other site than the headset (soft reset).
Since your just pressing the power button, i would say the problem is the soft reset button. Lokks like it doesnt release correctly try sticking in the hole and get it off....
HTH

Hi there;
To get into the bootloader mode, switch phone off and then hold the red/green answer buttons, and then power up the phone, hold this down until you get the 3 different colours on the screen.
*By the way, if anyone more experienced wishes to correct me, feel free*
*Damn Doublepost*
To enter the bootloader:
Hold down the camera button and reset device with the stylus. Keep holding the camera button until you see 'tricolor' bootloader screen.
An alternative way to enter bootloader:
Switch the device off by long pressing O/I (power) button. hold down the camera button while pressing the O/I button about 1 second. Keep holding the camera button until you see 'tricolor' bootloader screen.
Alternative(universal?) bootloader(3)
As almost all htc smartphones with onboard camera, when you push and hold the camera(photo) button, and plug in usb adapter. Even a "stupid" usb power adapter will work.
To hard reset:
Hold down send/reject buttons (green/red at the front) and reset with the stylus; release the stylus but keep holding the buttons till you get 'this will erase all your personal data' message, then press 'action' (big front button) to hard reset.
Good LUck

XPERIA X2 won't enter bootloader help!!!

Hi, I am having problems getting my X2 into boot mode in order to update the firmware to MR1- I've followed the instructions on SE Update Service (press and hold volume down button and power button until white screen appears)
All that happens is the vibration feedback to indicate power on, then the phone loads up as normal with the logo in a black background???? anyone else come across this?
help me X2
hi all fri
i had one sony x2 ,but have some problem !can you tell me how to enter undate mode !and X2 chinese rom! thanks
do you press and HOLD both buttons till the desired screen appears? Should not release Power button before the screen emerges..
Yes I did, It's just loads up as normal, I have the xperia x1 so I'm not new to this devices, anyone experienced this before?
Are you sure that you are doing it exactly like this:
1. Remove and re-insert battery.
2. Press AND HOLD the volume down button.
3. Press AND HOLD the power button at the same time.
Hold the two buttons (and no other buttons) until logo on white background appears.
The order is important, first the volume down button - keep pressed, then the power button - keep both pressed.
The most important thing that many people miss is...
You must NOT have the USB cable plugged in when you do this. Only plug the phone in after the white screen appears.
This is not my first xperia as I still have the x1, so I do know what I'm doing, the phone boots up as normal (sony ericsson logo with the 'black' background) unlike the x1 with the tricolor screen. Is there anyother way to enter the bootloader or reset the whole ROM? someone please help as I can't update my phone and spony ericssonwon't do anything about it because it hasn't been officially released in the UK :S
i have the same issue tryed every thing (volume down + power =nothing. volume down + power +soft reset button= nothing. look in the registry found nothing relevant to bootloader )i think bootloder got messed up or something. is there a folder or something containing the bootloder

same here, very frustrated, need my phone back to factory settings! any1 help please???
It's important that you normally turn off the phone before getting out the battery or it will reboot normally when the battery is inserted.
X2 DEAD
I also have the same problem as my device does not turn on nor k is functioning BOOTLOADER MODE.
only once beats vibrating k after the computer sees an unknown device.
I left my phone in few mobile services, nobody did any good to it - same problem still left. Last chance will be SE service.

To get back into factory-defaults, then use the Phone reset found under Settings->System. That will re-install everything.

I don't think there should be a 'HTC' screen when you're booting into bootloader? I'm not sure, but just try holding down both the power button and the volume down button, as I think people have been able to restart the process after their phone has run out of battery or something similar. Hopefully everything should be OK once you've managed to access the bootloader.
Oh, and I don't mean to be rude, but use a better PC next time
phone wont go into bootloader , phone just turn on NORMALLY , but while there is no system at all on his memory he just stuck at HTC (green) on white background !
im suspecting that my VOLUME DOWN button is broken ?
Have you tried the back key?
power (end call) + back key ?
If you have magldr installed it should bring you to magldr menu which would point towards faulty vol down button ....

If I remembered correctly, some of the people mentioned that HD2 is quite difficult to brick. I think that you could still try to work with your phone unless you still suspect that you have a faulty volume down button. I noticed in your statement in Step 2 coloured red that you press the end key once. I haven't flash in a while but I think you should hold the end key with the volume down button until you get into bootloader mode (screen with tri colour). Don't just press the key once. I hope this helps.

I am sorry, but I think you may have bricked your device.
Sure thing, the european HD2 is quite difficult to brick. But your PC had frozen while you were in the middle of flashing. (right?)
It is like pulling out the USB cable while flashing. You can try flashing from sdcard. Are you sure you are not able to go into bootloader?
To get to bootloader press and hold vol down button and then press the power (end call) button. I do a lot of flashing lol
lol...i just noticed the threadstarter's point of saying he pressed the power key "once". So i thought that was a mistake. Could be surely from the faulty volume button. Don't see any reply yet from him.

Fast fast try to return it before Trump wins . He will build the wall you know... Jk...
For my opinion LCD has to be changed. Due drop or in your pocked from high pressure i think its gone ...
Since as you said phone is working you can take pictures or receive calls but screen is always black.
Can you see its black color or screen isn't turning at all.
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Mine started with green stripes allover the screen and few days later - "black screen"
Samsung change the whole unit.
But if lcd doesnt work so, it wont recognize when i press the screen, can it?

S7 Edge BSoD Extra Info. needed
Hi,
Phone: I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge SM-G935FD
I was using my phone to send a txt (and at the same time I think I was receiving a text or call because the menu and back touch buttons were lit up) and all of a sudden the phone crashed as I tried to finish my text but the touch wasnt responding, then the backlight turned of like it does if the phone is not being used. But the strange thing was that the menu and back touch buttons stayed lit up (Solid).
I tried many methods to restart the phone:
Power button + volume down (FAILED)
Power button + volume up (FAILED)
Power button + volume down + Home (FAILED)
Power button + volume up + Home (FAILED)
So I thought I'll let the battery die and then recharge and hopefully the phone would automatically restart like normal, however the phone does not show sign of charging now.
So I tried to connect to the PC but it wasn't being recognized however when I press and hold the power button a sound of detecting a device sounds and then when I take my finger off the sound of detaching occurs. But I couldn't see anything happening, until I went into device manager, under "Other Devices" , "Exynos8890" appears which I know is the chipset.
This is as much as I know of the problem. How do I solve thins problem without trying to factory reset the phone and lose all my data?
PS: I didn't backup my photos (My baby children only copies) or Notes in NotePad, which has some very important info.
