stuck at bootloader screen - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

I have a problem with my 8525 and cannot get it fixed no matter what ive tried. My wife was using the unit playing a game and she said a message window appeared that said something about being critically low on memory. She hit ok to close the window and it rebooted to the bootloader screen with the red/green/blue/white bars. I cannot get it to reset. Ive tried a hard reset, soft reset even tried reflashing but its just locked onto that screen. Ive tried removing the battery.
Anyone have any recommendations? Im running Custel's 2.5 pro cingular version with radio 1.40 and spl-2.10 olipro I dunno if that helps.
Thanks Weez

Anyone? or am i toast?

have u tried flashing the phone suing the micro sd card
tht might help

Did you check the TyTn Wiki section "Common Upgrade Problems?" There's a section on how to get the phone out of bootloader mode... Good luck!

HELP NEEDED REALLY URGENT

Hi all,
I hv a Jasjar with the latest I mate ROM installed and Radio 1.04.10...Today morning I was watching Video in TCPMP Player and when I closed the player the phone got Hanged..then I tried soft resetting it...but to my disappointment it is stuck at I mate Boot Screen which shows all the figs for ROM,Radio and Protocol..doesn't move ahead...
I tried :
-Hard resetting it by pressing zero...still it comes to the same state and doesn't move ahead.
-Tried Hard resetting it via Boot Options...clearing the Reg Hive and Formatting the storage...but the screen becomes white and stays on there.
-Tried updating to O2's latest ROM byputting it in b/l mode...it did got upgraded but then it is stuck again at O2 logo and doesn't move ahead..
-Also tried removing Sim and Memory card...still same result...
Can anyone throw more light on this...PLs it is very URGENT....
Thanks in Advance...
do the "radio only" flash that's on the ftp...
if it works, that's lucky...else go for a replacement!

tri color screen

Help I cannot get my 8525 off the tri colored screen. I have been searching thru these forums but have not found the right combination.
It is set up for WM6 and att
did you press the reset button and it still comes back to this tricolor screen?
if resetting doesnt work, hard reset, if that doesnt work then yu may have to reflash os. My suggestion would be using the sd card method as all you need to do is be in bootloader with a fat32 formatted memory card and the .nbh file of your favourite rom installed on it and renamed to "hermimg.nbh". hope this helps...
stuck in bootloader screen
my phone...said no signal...I couldn't even open the phone pad ....then my sim did not show.....I tried soft resets several time.... nothing would help I noticed under device info it would not show radio version or rom version..... so I downloaded a fresh version or att 6.0 wm.. and tried that to see if it would help... while installing it stop @ 11 percent with error code.262 tried several times and nothing still same thing..... is their hope.... can I install a cooked rom... or is my phone dead I hope not but you guys are the best....can anyone please help......
dr71399, sounds as if your radio has had it... try to fix any bad blocks on your phone with MTTY first(do a search in upgrading for instructions) first then try to flash a radio only rom, if that doesnt work you should do a search for others that have had their radios corrupted and see what is suggested. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but most people find once that happens its a brick, not that you cant flash an os only rom to use as a PDA.
If your phone is still under warranty then try to put the original rom back on and return for warranty but thats all I can think to do... See if a chef can fix up an os only rom for at&t or try to do it yourself.

Hermes 100 stuck on Bootloader?

hey, i have a stock Orange SPV M3100 ie htc Hermes 100, flashed successfully with Black Satin a while ago now, no major problems and running much less glitchy than the stock rom. yesterday when i checked my phone it was on the bootloader (tri-colour). it wont leave it, soft reset hard reset. cant flash a new rom or anything as it wont connect with active sync obviously. when i reset for a second on the boot screen it says 'no image found'
tried the mtty program but cant type in it? cant press enter for it to start or whatever, prob being retarded im sure but i couldnt get it to work. pluuus on the initial open port setting menu theres no option for usb? yet the guide says select usb.
help pleeease =]
it actually says 'no image file' not found but yes anyone have any ideas?
Flash your unit with the OEM ROM using the SD Card...
hmmm have done so then soft reset and it seems to have made no difference, getting hold of a different rom to see if thats more successful...

Click to collapse
is there a particular rom to be lookign for? tried two dfferent ones that have installed successfully but when i reset just loads up in boot screen again?!
gah most frustrating
Try looking for and then (if need be) repairing bad blocks with MTTY. Then reflash os if bad blocks were found and repaired. Remember that sometimes the carrier actually "brands" handsets with bad blocks that CANT be repaired. Hope this helps....

Can't flash ROM

Hi I have an AT&T 8525 that I have flashed with Schap's WM6 pro 4.31 lite rom. I am trying to flash back to AT&T wm6 rom but every time I run the RUU it goes to the bootloader then the next screen is a white screen that says "loading..." so I wait to see if it loads slowly but it times out and returns to the bootloader screen. I have tried flashing from the SD card but it does the same thing. I have tried to soft reset then I tried to hard reset but I still get the same message. The utility goes to an error screen saying connection error. Is there anything that I can do to get this to work?
take out your sd card and run the RUU
THANK YOU!!! The fix worked perfectly. Outstanding!!!!!!

Here's a tricky problem, need expertise!! Kind of urgent..

I have read and read and read. I have "bricked" my phone in the past and fixed it. I have used, tested, and flashed many roms from this site (Thanks to all cooks for their work!) but I still consider myself somewhat 'new' to troubleshooting.
I woke up this morning to make some important phone calls today and as luck would have it, my phone was stalled again. It's been doing that for a few weeks now. My last flash was Open Touch 5.0 UL I believe (either that or 5.2 biggy) and it has been working great except for the occasional freeze.
EDIT: Forgot to add, the actual problem is now it won't boot up after it froze this morning. Just sits at the boot screen
So I've tried my other methods of fixing it... /edit
Except this morning nothing is working. I have tried flashing with Orig. T-mobile ruu, tried SD flashing with the RUU_signed.nbh, tried restarting the computer, phone, removing battery and sim... NOTHING! When trying the sd flash (which I've never done before today, it reads and tells me to push the down button but then goes to bootloader screen and just sits there. With the RUU I'm getting err 300 but I'm using the SAME RUU (4.10...) that I've used in the past to reflash my phone AND tried the new one (4.26...)
Possible problem: Does it matter what kind of usb cable you use? I don't have the normal one I use as I am not home but I figured usb is usb...
I've read about it being a motherboard issue, how common is this?
I've read somethings about MTTY, would this apply to me??
Please help, anyone who has any suggestion, I'll try it!!
Stats:
IPL 4.10.0002
SPL 4.10.0000
NOT hard-spl'd
Wing w/ Open Touch Project 5.0 or 5.2
actualy the sd method needs hard spl thats all i can really provide
I appretiate it, that I did not know... I could barely find anything on how to do it even.
im having the same problem bt instead of freezing da screen jus goes different colors or jus goes gray and stays der
Thats basically what mine did. The colors would get messed up and no matter what button i pressed it would not do anything. My advice to you edrift, is BACK UP YOUR STUFF NOW and reflash it asap if you can still reboot. I can get into my phone at all now.
yea i tink i might jus throw my phone away.dis is jus gettin rediculous
