Need help with wireless and modem settings - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

Hi can someone please help, my Tytn gets confused between using a wireless network and the three network. When I'm out and about I use three to access the internet if I can't find a free wirless network, but when I have acccess to a wireless network the Tytn still tries to connect to the internet through the three network. How can I set up the Tytn so that when a wirelss network is available it connects to it insted of the three network and vice versa.
Thanks.

Wireless Network Settings for MDA Vario (T-Mobile Wizard) ??

Hi all,
Could you please help how to set up wireless connection for the Wizard. I've tried myself but found it so complicated and entangled.
1. The internet connection works fine whenever I plug the Wizard to my laptop. Obviously it then connects to the Internet through my Laptop.
2. When the Wizard is off-hooked, it shows that it can detect my home wireless network and in the Wireless LAN section it shows that the connection is established. However, when I open Internet Explorer it usually starts with saying "Connecting to GPRS". Only when GPRS cannot get connected, because I don't use it, IE starts connecting to the wireless network and browsing.
So my questions are:
1. How can I configure the Wizard so that it can start connecting to my Wireless network without attempting the GPRS connection?
2. I find a list of many networks obviously set up as default by the supplier (T-Mobile) in the Configure Wireless Network section. How can I delete them so that Wizard shows only available networks? There's a "Add New" option, but I cannot find "Delete" anywhere.
3. In the Connections section, I find "T-Mobile Internet" and "My Work Network" settings. In Advance -> Network Management section, I find "Programs that automatically connect to the Internet should connect using:" then a list of networks. Can you please explain what this does and if I could add the settings of my home wireless network to this section.
Some Newbie questions, please don't mind if they seem silly. Your help is very much appreciated.

Using wifi for both internet and office network access

Hi,
I am having trouble using wifi on my O2 XDA Mini S (Wizard) to access both the internet and shared directories on my office network.
If I have a wireless laptop PC, then once it has connected to its base station it will transparently access both the internet and shared drives over that wireless network.
But with the Wizard things seem to be different. Instead I have to go to settings | network cards and explicitly say whether the wireless network is for internet access or for "work" access. And change that setting again when I want to change which destination (internet, or shared drive) I am accessing. All this despite exactly the same wireless network being used.
Please tell me this isn't necessary and I have just missed something Is there a way of configuring wireless network access on the Wizard to transparently access both the internet and shared drives?

Anybody? Surely others have experienced this problem?

Internet access via WiFi on XDA IIs

Forgive me if this has afterall been asked before, copious use of the search function has returned nothing of any use or in most cases, any relation.
I've recently aquired an O2 XDA IIs, unlocked, and I'm using it with my T-Mobile sim card. I'm trying to access the internet via the WiFi connection, but every time I attempt to connect (for example with MSN Messenger) it tries to connect via GPRS. I've tried making a new connection in settings, or editing existing connections, and yet all I'm presented with to connect through are these:
Bluetooth Dialup Modem
Cellular Line
Cellular Line (GPRS)
Generic IrDA
Hayes Compatible on COM1:
^I don't see a "Wireless LAN" option there.
If anyone could shed some light on this, it would be -very- much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

wi-fi has a setting of it's own in the connection manager which needs to be switched on before you can connect to anything.
You need to connect to your wi-fi network, then activate MSN Messenger etc
