Hi guys, I've heard of dual sims being used in phones with an adapter or ghost sim or whatever other names they are known by, BUT is there any way to get three sims to work. Any adapter or device out there that will work with three/triple sims???
You sir need another phone... or two.
I have no knowledge to the effect of one existing or not existing. This post was purely for my personal enjoyment, and I did not intend on helping or hurting your attempt at finding an answer to this question. However, to defend my actions I will also state that by my actions this topic will rise back to the top of the list and therefor have a greater chance of finding the eye of someone who has the answers you seek. Wow, I got to get out of here.

You can use as many SIMs as you want -- as long as you're prepared to keep swapping them in and out of the phone...
IIRC You can copy up to 16 v1 SIM cards (year 2001 or before) on a piccard2, that's the only way.
If you don't have v1 SIM cards you'll need to use the dual sim ghost adaptor cut 10th generation and use only 2 SIMs.
thanks POF!!
Why can you just buy two Dual adoptors? Would that work?

Hmm.. theoritically, it ought to work. You just need to switch it more often, that is like, if you have SIM 1 2 3, the order will go (with SIM 1 in the 1st Dual Adp)
1 -> 2 -> 1 -> 3 -> 1 -> 2 ...
Yes, but on the hermes you need to use the "sim cut" adaptors because the others do not fit between the device and the battery, so it is not possible.

Not with adapters that use STK menu, because such an adapter effectively disables menues on "slave" SIMs. This prevents cascading of adapters.

Will Any dual sim adaptor fit the Magician or are the specific ones?
Also can anyone link me up to a good one?
EDIT: Does the dual sim adaptor that doesnt require cutting fit or not?
If someone know a quick reply would be appriciated

I've posted a link to the cut dual sim I use. Works perfectly.

Thanks VJay, i dont fancy the idea of cutting my sim cards i have to say, does anyone know if the one that DOESNT require cutting fits?
nobody? I need to order it today you see
I think I saw some application where you can use a special sim, and hold up to different 16 SIMS on it, switching with some software clicks. Not sure though.
jaso2005: 16 in 1 won't work in the UK.
There are ghost sims (2 in 1 non cuts), but they are typically external I think. I haven't seen an internal one.
Cut sim worked great for me though!
V
well ive ordered one of the none cut ones in hope that it might just work! lol we shall see! ill keep you updated!
I once bought a 6-in-1 sim kit. i was able to copy only a pre-paid sim, but most regular sims today cannot be copied. i'm now using a brando 10th era no cut dual sim adapter. no need to power off or switch on/off flight mode to switch sims 'coz it has its own stk menu. i had to make my battery thinner though so it would fit.

How did you make your battery thinner?? I have a dual sim adapter that I used for my T68 but cannot use it on JAM cos the battery wont fit!

Hi,
I'm wondering if there is a dual sim holder that fit in the kaiser.
I'd like one with no cut options. I've googled my question, but no answers...
Any ideas ?
Thanks for your help
I too would be extremely interested in this...
Still no ideas ???
dual sim
with no cut i think is impossebel
but wizh cut's

certainly look impressive, but for tytn 2 you can only cut cards. have you tried one?
this looks awesome. anyone tested it yet?
or you can try to clone your card
other options is cloning the card. I did that couple years ago in my tmobile-usa card.

AFAIK this is only possible for networks and SIM cards using the COMP128 algorithm for authenticating the SI to the network. I don't know who still uses COMP128 but certainly in the UK no provider uses it on recent SIMs.
Highly unlikely to work with any USIM for the same reason - COMP128 is potentially insecure (obviously, if you can clone the SIM) so has been replaced with newer algorithms.
Just my 2p'th.

Yes you are right! I bought an old Tmobile card, before 2001 production, then I made clone and call tmobile to made a change to clonen-able tmobile card. I tried a couple of card before finally succesful. The new card have new algorithma and it is less likeable to be force to read for longer period of time than old one.
so getting back on track, has anyone used a dual card adapter in a TyTn II?
i assume you have a program to switch cards
I've been trying to find a Dual SIM Holder that can be used in the Kaiser without Cutting the SIM cards, but I don't think such a Dual Sim Holder exists, there is just too little space where the Kaiser holds its SIM
I really cannot cut my SIM as I have a work and personal SIM I want to use, and if i cut/loose the work one it will take em ages to get a replacement which is very bad...
Plus I suck at cutting SIMS lol, tried to cut my personal one and it killed it, had to get a replacement.
And, what about the cloning solution.
Is there any news ?
Hello all,
I've ran into some troubles with my device, since I have it running with a unlimited data transfer flatrate, that sim is blocked for incomming and outgoing phonecalls.
Solution on this trouble should be one of the dual sim adapters, which leads me to another problem. Since it seems to be impossible on my HTC Uni to have two simultaneous active cards running, the data one would be the usual active one for my needs.
But how to get the device automatically activating that sim, while its sleeping on an incomming phone call? Preferably without any costs on the data sim and extra costs on the phone sim either for me nor for the calling party.
Call deflection an possible option?
Since its probably a common issue im ashamed that I couldnt find any solution. Would be nice if I could still get some reply.
Thanks in advance,
Real.

Actually, I don't recall any dual SIM adaptor allowing 2 SIMs online at the same time. Looks like you need a phone able to handle that specific feature.
Your phone is able to handle 2 different lines at the same time ... but on the same SIM card. Some Operators used to provide this type of plan. A plan, 2 different numbers ... But same Operator !
I've heard that ETEN will release a Dual SIM PDAPhone (DX900) : http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/Eten-DX900-is-dual-SIM-smartphone-article-a_2805.html
Anyway, I've been looking for the answer ... But, nothing yet.
Here is a workaround

This really sounds interesting, since I've got both of my most frequently used sims at the same provider. (Telefone/- and Dataflat)
Maybe my provider is willing to attach them both sims into one, or else theres still the chance of "doing by self". Another point is that those contracts dont have such a long lifetime anymore, so most likely this will be pretty mutch possible.
Sounds way better than buying a new phone, with the possibility of using two sim cards simultaneously.
Only one thing troubles me, since I've wrote about the HTC Adv beeing the mentioned device while it is Universal. Does that one have that feature aswell? I hope and pray, since this seems to be my last chance of having it more user friendly.
Any reply mutch obliged,
Real.
I have my Xda Orbit ii, In a mobile shop around i can get the dual sim thingy, which breaks my sim into two halfs and we can use either one of them at one time. Is there any application or software which enables me to use both at the same time or just a quick sim changer? Cause restrating the phone means wastage of 10mins lol.. Help

I think most dual SIM modules have the ability to dial a set number to select one or the other SIM.
There's also this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=302759
A today plugin that lets you switch the SIM.
I don't think it's possible to have both at once without two SIM readers built into the device which an Orbit does not have!
In fact, it's really simple to explain (and to understand, i hope )
To have dual SIM operating together, you'll need to have 2 antennas, and 2 Radio ROMs...
If your phone only have one antenna... you'll have to switch manually from one SIM to the other...
If you're looking for a mobile with dual SIM (like in China), make sure that they have 2 antennas...
I don't know if such a mobile exists... and is powered by Windows Mobile !

dual sim
Dear friend I suggest you to buy the latest dualsim adapter ...
As far as I know is the 16th generation.
It cost about 16 to 20 euro and allow to switch simcard without power off.
Search on ebay
I hope I have been use full
Greetings
i bought this 16th sim adapter. but i can't us it. I've a Glofiish X600.
x600 can't recognise, it want to "INSERT THE CORRECT SIM"
what would be the solution? some kind of accesories? is it the wrong of WM6?
is there a possibility to use two Sim cards simultaniously - i.e. to send and receive calls from two numbres without needing to switch sim cards?
yup, it should be possible.
there are adapters on the market, check ebay..
http://cgi.ebay.com/GHOST-DUAL-SIM-...ries?hash=item22feb30125&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
but you need to cut youre original sim and the extra one..
thewn you stick the (still functional)remains in a the adapter wich goes in the original place where the single sim used to be...
i had one, but didnt wanted to cut up to test it out...
but a college, from wich i got it, said it worked on his touch...
do some research, or mail a manufacturer and find out additional information
they also sell touch pro's and touch diamond's with dual sim already built in.

my question: is it possible to recieve calls simultanioulsy - or must i choose each time a different sim card which is "on" and the other one is "off"?
