One question,
when I am writting a message and I receive a phone call, the phone does not show me the caller ID, I just keep looking at the message display. But I would like to know who is calling before I answer. It could automatically return me to messages when I am finished talking.
Does it happen to you too or how can I solve this problem?

Hey there,
I have my HTC HD set to NOT answering calls automatically. However it does that still only when I recieve a call while Im on the phone (second line). It rings once and immediately switches the call to the new incoming one. Could get very annoying when you have an important sales call! and especially if you intentionally dont want to pick up the other call
Is there a setting for that I am missing? thanks for the help.

Click to collapse
Have you checked the call waiting settings?
Under settings/phone
How come HTC doesn't get it? Is there a way to stop rejected calls from showing up as missed calls? In every single phone I've had, rejected calls were in received list, and there was no notifications regarding them (LEDs, popups...)
50 views and no reply... I guess it's not possible.
Yeah it's pretty annoying, because rejecting a call becomes a multi-step process of rejecting it and then tapping over to notifications, then dismissing the missed call notification...
I get a lot of calls, often getting calls when already on a call.
I had a TYTN II before, and it had a function that allowed me to hang up current call and answer new call.
I don't think the HD2 allows that? Only gives me option to answer new call, which leaves other call running. I end up having to ignore new call, hang up current call and call the other person back (at my cost).
I spend about 24hrs a month on the phone, so the more i can answer calls when the come in, the cheaper it is for me.
Any one know a solution.
Also side issue. I used to get appointment reminders. And if i had the persons phone number in the appointment, i could dial it from the reminder. Was great if i was running late. it seems to have disapeared, probably with an update. anyone know how to reactivate it?
anyone got any ideas?
ok still waiting for help on this.
Anyone else experiencing this problem?
I cannot click back over to the original call when using call waiting. I get the notification when I am on a call, that a second call is coming in and I get the options (ignore, send to voice, or answer). If I answer, I am never able to switch back over to the original call after I am done. Any ideas?
n my phone when I receive another call I get the options to "Answer", "Ignore", "End and Answer"
If I answer the banner at the top displays the current caller's name and call time but gives an option to "Tap to Swap".
This is what SHOULD be there emphasis on should.
Whenever the second phone call ends, I have to press the drop-down menu and take the first call off "Hold". It's really annoying and should automatically occur once the second caller hangs up.
Odd. Mine just switches back over automatically.
I really think it is Oreo related as I haven't had this issue before.
My problem is that even though the Truecaller call identification popup appears when someone calls and the call is in peak mode, when the call is in full screen mode, it does not appear.
For those who don't really know what I mean by full screen mode, it is when the screen is off and you get a call. Then the blue call screen appears. This is when I expect the call to be identified by true caller but it does not happen. After the call the popup appears but its too late. I have already answered the spam call.
Desperately seeking help in this field.
Thanks in advance.
