I really think it is Oreo related as I haven't had this issue before.
My problem is that even though the Truecaller call identification popup appears when someone calls and the call is in peak mode, when the call is in full screen mode, it does not appear.
For those who don't really know what I mean by full screen mode, it is when the screen is off and you get a call. Then the blue call screen appears. This is when I expect the call to be identified by true caller but it does not happen. After the call the popup appears but its too late. I have already answered the spam call.
Desperately seeking help in this field.
Thanks in advance.

everytime im on a call and I get another incoming call, it will beep continuously until the call waiting caller hangs up... anyone ever experience this? if so, any solutions? any suggestions on what i should do? (t-mobile wing)
Yes, in my opinion, this is normal behavior. If you hit the END button, or the IGNORE softkey, it will reject the call that is coming in.
Hi,
This is my first pocketpc phone edition so I don't know if it's common to all of them or just on the niki.
If I initiate a call and on the same second I have an incoming call, I find myself in the situation where I can't answer it...
The dialer is still on the initiate call screen and I can't seem to switch to the incoming call - not with the send button, even closing the dialer doesn't do anything.
If anyone can help me, I would realy appreciate.
Thanks.
I have observed one thing..whenever there is a short missed call and my phone is in locked state..it wakes up in 3-4 sec..if this call happens to be a missed call (only 1-2 rings heard on the caller's end), my phone doesnt recognize that number (even if it is present in my contacts) neither it shows which number i missed...so frustrating..any body else experienced this?
any workaround? i tried many registry tweaks posted on internet, nothing helped..hard reset my phone..but problem still there..
Same problem here, I suppose it's a bug on Phone part of the ROM, maybe it will be fixed in future versions. I try all the CPU performances and the problem persist.
It takes a little bit of time before the caller ID number comes through and get matched to your contact list. Depending on how many contacts you have on your list, it may also take a bit longer to find a match in a long list. So if your caller calls and ends call shortly, then the match may not be completed. It's not a bug.
But when my screen is on..i dont see this issue at all, i have checked many times giving as short call as i could..
i issue comes when the device is locked..so i think while waking the device up it takes long and there somehow it doesnt activate the callerid service, so the unknonw caller issue occurs..
When your screen is locked, your phone is in sleep mode. So it takes longer time to wake up first, then receive the call.
HI all, my hd2 has a strange problem
Whenever I am in a phone conversation, and a third party dial in, there is no notification other than a beep (which is barely heard when you are in a phone call). Is this normal for your HD2?
Can you make the phone vibrate when there is a third party incoming call??
and another question related to call waiting. if i am calling smbd and that somebody is engaged in a conversation with a third person, i don;t hear in my phone any sound that would inform me that i am on hold and the person might think: WTF, is he stupid or what. any ideas?
with the forst i don't know... with the second i think it is network dependent...
and i have another one... what about when you have a number directed to yours to have a sign or somthg when the incoming call is from that number...
what i was talking about of course it's network depending, but u see, with the same SIM in a samsung or a nokia i can see the notification that i am calling when the line is occupied, with my HD2, and generally, with any other WinMo device, u cannot see it. it was discussed a lot, but i thought may be smbd have a solution already.
Anyone else experiencing this problem?
I cannot click back over to the original call when using call waiting. I get the notification when I am on a call, that a second call is coming in and I get the options (ignore, send to voice, or answer). If I answer, I am never able to switch back over to the original call after I am done. Any ideas?
n my phone when I receive another call I get the options to "Answer", "Ignore", "End and Answer"
If I answer the banner at the top displays the current caller's name and call time but gives an option to "Tap to Swap".
This is what SHOULD be there emphasis on should.
Whenever the second phone call ends, I have to press the drop-down menu and take the first call off "Hold". It's really annoying and should automatically occur once the second caller hangs up.
Odd. Mine just switches back over automatically.
