Bluetooth Problem in Himalaya :( - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

Hello.
I have a big problem with my BT in MDA 2 ... When i do a hard reset, after start of WM2003SE BT icon have a red line on itself. When I tap this Icon I can see error message: "There is no Bluetooth hardware installed on this device." and every field is grey....
Is there a driver which can fix it ?

/edit: I saw reply about registry fix, but i don't have any backup And I can't take this registry key ... Can sb help me ?

It seems that the BT driver wasn't loaded properly! Can you check?
Are you sure, you didn't change anything in the registry?
Which BT stack are you using?

Hi ... But can You tell me how can I check it ? I'm really "green" in MDA & PPC .. But BT don't work even I do a Hard Reset ... I've bought this model yesterday and I can't tell anything about it's history ...

Ok, let's start!
1) Go in Settings/System, click on Device Information and give me what you have on the version tab.
2) Go In Windows directory and search for a file called ASIC5_BTUR.dll

OK.

If you use fileexplorer to show files, don't forget to select show all files option. then make a search on ASIC5_BTUR
If you don't have it, well you need to reinstall it or think about upgrading your pda to WM2005

HELP!! Bluetooth Active Sync for Mini XDA

I cant sync with bluetooth. Please help
make sure you have the latest rom since this seems to be most stable when doing AS over BT.
On Desktop
1) make sure bt dongle is inserted and all software have been properly installed
2) open Activesync click File>Connection Settings... check Allow serial or infrared connection to this COM port:
3) Indicate your BT COM PORT check your BT software or documentation mine uses COM5, this maybe diff on your desktop.
On PPC
1) Tap Start>Settings>System>Bluetooth Setting
2) Under Bluetooth ActiveSync Setup: tap Start you will be taken to the Bluetooth screen. Make sure both boxes are checked.
3) Under Devices Tab. Tap New your ppc will now search for your desktop.
4) type your passkey and wait for the Desktop to prompt you for a password. Type this password on the desktop to finish bonding.
5) open ActiveSync tap Tools>Connect via Bluetooth and you're done.
I did this but I can't connect still.

your ROM looks old. isn't there a new ROM for O2mini? I suggest you get the latest ROM. anyway with your current ROM it can still be done but it is a bit tri ckier. You can read a step by step how to here http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=544932
sorry for the ignorance. I went to the O2 site and there are no new rom for the mini.
Can you please tell where to get it?
Sorry I didn't know that just assumed O2 had released it since i-mate and qtek have released theirs. I use the i-mate JAM w/ Qtek 1.11WWE ROM. Anyway you can wait for O2's official ROM also or follow the link to HoFo that did the trick before my ROM updates.

Unable to boot Qtek 9100/SPV M3000/HTC Wizard

hello everyone,
I recently bought a locked Qtek 9100 (SPV M3000/HTC Wizard) and I was trying to unlock it using lokiwiz v0.2. It went through all the steps without any problem, but one... it was still sim locked!
Maybe because my phone is a new version, as it had Feb 06 as its original date... I don't really have any clue.
As this didn't work, I tried to find out in Google if I could find any unlocking code, even if I had to pay 30 euros for it, as that free tool didn't work it out for me.
I used www.gsmliberty.net, paid for it, followed all their instructions - again, everything went perfect - and in the end... ... my phone is not working anymore!... It doesn't even get to the Windows Mobile Logo...
It shows HTC logo and the provider logo, but then reboots and keeps going on this cycle as long as the battery lasts.
I've tried to hard reset, but it stays all the same! I do everything as I have found out in every forum that has some information about it, and it still can't get out of this rebooting cycle...
Can anyone help me on this?
I fear that it had some kind of advanced protection against known unlocking tools and now its ruined for good
Please tell me that we can work this out! The phone was working perfectly before, when I inserted a SIM card that it allowed (from the phone's provider...)
Any help will be most welcome!

Sorry to hear of your problems. Please tell me the details of the rom including the ipl and spl numbers. Is the rom a qtek one? - your post is confusing.
I would try reflashing the device with the original rom as the format has failed to do anything.
Download rom from here ftp://[email protected]/Wizard/Roms/Qtek/ password is xda.
To get to the bootloader screen to do this, turn off your device then press and hold camera button and then power on. You should then reach the multicolored bootloader screen. Connect to pc using usb cable and you should see usb in bottom left of screen. (the device does not need to be activesynced to flash rom) then start exe on pc and the device will reflash.

No problem glad you got it sorted. I like to help (this is what this FORUM is for) and would hope that it does make a difference. Best way you can help is learn, learn, learn and then help, help, help others. The helpers in the forum seem to come and go so i suppose there is a shortage, most come for info and advice. exe is the RUU (RomUpdate Utility) icon in the Rom you downloaded,just run the RUU,it'll start to flash.

Vista is still not compatible for flashing,use winXP,its highly recommended and doen't give any problems.

Big Big Help!!

Hi.
I want to upgrade my equipment to WM6 but i don´t know how to.
I´m a newbie so all the help are welcome.
The ROM version is : 1.30.77 WWE
ROM date : 02/20/2006.....
Radio version : 0.00.00 ( isn´t this strange ? )
Protocol version : 42.37.P8
ExtROM : 1.30.9010
That´s my device information above so what i have to do?
Where i can find a ROM that fully supports WM6 and of course that´s compatible with all functions that my phone has ( videocall for example ).

I asume that you have an UNIVERSAL (JasJar, qtek 9000...)
-1 download the ROM that you want.
-2 press light button + power button and then reset device.
-3 go to Activesync's connections settings and then UNcheck "allow USB connections".
-4 connect your device to you computer with USB cable (of course) and then double click (in the rom that you download) in "ROMUpgradeUt.exe" or "MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe" (this one is better).
Follow the instructions ok?
The WM6 have trouble with videocall in this device and have a lot of bugs but you can test this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=312519
I hope this help but search in the forum because this threat is solved already...

Unidentified USB device problem

Hello everybody,
Does anyone can tell how to fix the error message "Unidentified USB device - Please enter the name of your device" etc.. + field to fill and Enter or Cancel buttons? Once it appears, most of functions of the device go frozen and all I can do is to soft - reset it which is very inconvenient of course.
To be precise the message is displayed at random, but more often when I type SMS (not necessarily the case however).
I know that only YOU guys may help me to find an issue. So I do trust in you all.

TMobile GPRS

I have spent the last few hours searching various keywords trying to solve this issue on my own... But, I cannot.
As a result, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to help me solve the following issue:
I recently Flashed my TMobile MDA (aka the Wizard) by following these instructions exactly:

After having completed those steps, I installed the following ROM:

-----The Professional Edition
In order to solve a bug issue, I also flashed the Radio from 2.25.xx to 2.19.11 ((suggested by TNT)).
At this point, I have the letter "E" in a box next to the Radio Signal Strength Bars. To the best of my knowledge this used to be a "G."
Here is the following Device Information for my phone:
ROM version: 11.0.3.0 WWE
ROM Date: 2/02/2008
Radio Version: 02.19.11
Protocol Version: 4.1.13.09
IPL: 2.26
SPL: 2.26
I can receive/make calls and SMS text message. However, I cannot access the internet or receive MMS messages as I did prior to toying w/ the phone. It is no longer connecting to/via/with/? GPRS

Soft reset, and its in the settings->connections screen

Did you connect to 'internet2.voicestream.com' ? This is needed to connect GPRS TMobile.
