XDA II and Lockscreen - Cant remove the software !! - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

Some time ago I downloaded and installed the Lockscreen application. This was before I truly understood how to lock the buttons !!
Tried to remove it and have been unsuccessful...
Every so often I now get the error:
Notification Error
Cannot execute windows\LockScreenWD.exe
I have to clear this 5 times in succesion and the system goes back to normal operation until it happens again.
I've tried a registry editor to clear out any entries but cant get rid... anyone got any ideas...

help with IIWPO:"Cannot execute \windows\IIWPO_main.exe

I have installed the IIWPO (theft protection) program manually (not in ROM) for testing purposes. After uninstall an error message appeared periodicaly. The error txt is "Cannot execute \windows\IIWPO_main.exe". Also I can not find any reference to this file in the registry (maybe faulty registry editor, PHM ?) or in the startup folder. Also tried searching in the file contents on entire device. No success. Please, help, this error message is pissing me off
Hey guys.......thanks ahead of time.....
I tried uninstalling IIWPO(theft protection).........and now I'm getting this error periodically(almost randomly...but very often)...
"Cannot execute \windows\IIWPO_main.exe"
I tried removing everything I knew of.........but I obviously didn't succeed.......any help?
It's hidden as an event.
Use this to remove the hidden entry for IIWPO_main.
In you un-install IIWPO you will definitely miss out one thing: The event that makes it run after turning your device on.
There are 2 ways to remove the event:
- Use the Scarybear software
- Hard-reset
Note that after using the scarybears software, you have to do a soft reset, but NOT by pushing the reset button with the stylus. Instead, hold down the power button, say yes at the dialog box. After it's off, bring it back up by holding down the power button again.

Error: Cannot execute \windows\pmnotify.exe ?????

I uninstalled a couple programs and suddenly every time I wake up my device via the power button, I receive this error: "Cannot execute \windows\pmnotify.exe." What is pmnotify.exe? Do I need it? Is this a system file that has been removed by a program? Is it possible to re-obtain this file?
I searched here and through Yahoo and haven't found reports of anyone that sound like they understand this issue.
Solution
This was caused by Pocket Music. I installed the program and it worked until I entered my device registration number. After that it would give me a white screen when attempting to run the program. I fixed this by reinstalling pocket music. This time it works correctly.
I'm not sure if this will happen again if I ever try to remove the program. I'm using it for now, so it's all good.

Repllog.exe could not be started

i hard reseted my pocket pc once again.
The 1st message i receive after the hard reset is done and b4 displaying the today screen an eror is displayed where VoiceCmd.exe is the one diplaying that error. And 2 b more specific the message displayed is:" Cannot open"voiceCmd".A critical component is either missing or cannot start because program memory is unavailable.Tap start then .....
Once i get rid of this notification, a new 1 appears displaying Error OneNote.cab and then the same message is displayed. Then after removing this error the hard reset continues diplaying the message"Setting are being applied and windows will restart automatically. The windows restart then and as usual after the rebooting the same VoiceCmd.exe error is diplayed and cannot type on the screen cz it is not alligned. After the hard reset the op is not asking me to allign the screen anymore. So i have to go to settings and allign it manually.
Then after trying to install any.cab program will display this message:"Name of the program.cab".A critical component is either missing or cannot start because program memory is unavailable.
And of course when i plug the usb the lovely message flashes on my ppc screen displaying" Cannot execute repllog.exe"

[URGENT] Help needed, INVALID SECURITY CODE

Hello,
My phone has 4 number security code you have to enter when the phone's being unlocked(did in settings, default winmo lock but HTC made an unlocking skin on it).
I've taken out a battery while the phone was on, then turned it back again in 3 hours. I move the unlock image, and as usual dialpad appears asking for security code. I enter as I usually do and it says INVALID CODE. I'm like - WTF? Tried again, nothing. Tried dozens of times, nothing. Reboot doesn't help. Now it even stopped saying INVALID CODE, when you press the unlock button it doesn't do anything.
I had the "lock" feature working fine for weeks.
QUESTION: What to do(without hardreset)? Phone is set to sync when USB connected, Windows Mobile Device Centre says unlock your phone first before sync. I can't do anything, can't make call(i can receive it), can't check messages or anything, i can't unlock it ffs! Help please, any ideas are welcome
you aren't alone,happened to quite a few.
did you recently install swype 3.9?(there are other reasons)
i've not seen anyone get out without hard resetting.
i have miri rom with swype pre installed
maybe there's a way to upload a file to storage card that will change some registry keys? problem will be how to run it

About the only thing I can think of is if you were able to find a way to put something in the \windows\startup folder that fixed it - but like someone here already said - odds are you're going to have to do a hard-reset.

It happened to me awhile back...i tried to find a way but didnt manage to find it, i had to hard reset..

[Q] problem with don't installing programs after hard reset

Hi ,
Sorry For my bad English
When i was resetting my phone after calibrating screen i turned the phone off and i installed the cabs manually ,
Now , When i turn on the phone i see a message about installing programs , If i press no date and clock on the phone will be 13:00 2010.5.1
How can i remove this page ??? or do some thing for clock setting ?
Thanks in advance
3) After rebooting, the Sony Logo will appear again asking to retry. Press NO. Well by default this will keep on showing up every time you restart the phone, and it will also reset your time & date setting to some time in March. But I found a solution for that. With registry editor of your choice, search for Launch190 (HKLM\init\Launch190\CustAppInstaller.exe). Delete that value, and phone won't ask you again if you want to retry the CABS instalation, also it won't change your Time & Date setting again!!
