Does anyone know how to get into the Prophet Bootmenu.
As I would like to enable KITL/Debug features.
I have tried a couple of button combos with no luck. I had a look at the dumped bootloader and looks like the functionality is present.
Thanks

Hi people,
I'm quite new here and I know this question has been asked before but I can't find the answer listed anymore. Links to topics related to the bootloader questions seem to be missing.
I cannot enter bootloader mode on my MDA II. I am pressing the power, direction and reset buttons simultaneously, and I get grey screen saying SERIAL on the top and v1.01 on the bottom which changes to USB when placed in the cradle. It stays there. I think this is the bootloader screen but I've been told that you should be able to gain access to a menu from here. Do I need to unlock it somehow, update the bootloader, or use some sort of software? What am I doing something wrong?
Yes noob question but has to be asked....
Please advise.

yes, that's bootloader.
what do you want to do from there?
there is also another menu.
if you press reset button and hold down record + camera buttons.
search wiki for wm2005 FAQ.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=328478&page=2
the button on the phone that has the win logo on, and usally shows the start menu, does not work in this custom rom. I get a link not found error...
do anyone know a tweak or regedit fix that will get normal operation for this button?
go to the buttons page in setings and set it correctly
Thank you!
I was in that page before, but the button where labeled "knapp1" or "button1". That labeling where enough to throw me off track.
my startmenu button works as it is suppose to now
Hi everyone,
Before opening this thread i have done a lot of search about my problem but i could not find any solution. My pocket pc is HTC Touch 3450, it works fine but i want to unlock its CID. I tried every combination to enter bootloader mode (CAMERA + SOFT RESET, or CAMERA+POWER+SOFTRESET etc.) but when i try, it boots normally. Also there is no SD card in it. As i said everything works fine. I tried to upgrade its ROM but i got CONNECTION error in %0 of progress. I know to upgrade ROM i must enter bootloader but as i said i cannot. Also i can try to upgrade ROM via SD card but again i have to enter bootloader mode, but as i said i cannot.
When i try to enter bootloader mode it boots normally and begins the system and works everything fine. I dont know its history, i mean its my new second hand phone.
Anyone, any idea? Please help me!!!!.

Phone turned off. Hold down camera button, press power button to boot, while still holding camera button until the bootloader appears...
If you can't get your device into bootloader and you have tried all options, which it seems like you did. Consider the fact that you may have a clone, where did you purchase the phone from? This issue has been mentioned before, and that was the answer to why the bootloader wouldn't load.
Easy way to tell is check the battery, it'll say HTG instead of HTC.
Tried that matey - no good.
You see I thought that mine was a clone due to the trouble getting into bootloader, but I can see no other reason to believe its a clone, Battery says HTC as well.
I have had plenty of experience updating roms on htc devices but this has me stumped.
unfortunately it is a HTG battery, then it is a clone When i try the combinations, (power off then push power buton+camera button) it doesn't enter bootloader mode. Now i knoe that the problem is being a clone.
My next question is, what is the way to enter bootloader in clone HTC (HTC with a HTG battery)?????
Thanks
same problem. please help
crypto 2008 , same problem here.nobody knows how to do this. please help
It's the same problem for all clones.
Seems there is no way to enter the bootloader mode
Clones enter bootloader by holding the volume slider UP and pressing reset. If you hold the volume slider up and hold the camera button and hit reset you can hard reset it.
Hi all,
While fixing my broken LCD+digitizer, I broke the flex cable for volume up/down part of the flex. My HD2 is working fine except the volume up/down buttons.
It's a genuine HD2 for now, but I want to be able to install new roms especially Win7. But all the docs that I read here or the videos that I watched in youtube are saying use "vol down" button for 2-3 seconds to get into 3 color mode.
Unfortunately my "vol down" button does not exists as the flex going to the vol up/vol down is broken
Is there a way to get into 3 color mode to be able to install new ROMs (or HSPL if needed) without using vol down button ?
Thanks!

Honestly i really doubt it, but look around or google it, you might be lucky and there might be a way.
I spent maybe hours for googling this but couldn't
hope some experts can shed a light

Actually there is .. In WiMo 6.5 Dev section I tried a few roms that had some kind of an application called EBL (Enter Boot Loader) it launches the Bootloader directly from within WinMo.
But remember I't only a temp fix .. you should replace/fix your vol
I will provide that cab whenever i find it
If you already have a custom winmo rom on phone try holding the end key, see if you have a advanced menu with bootloader option on and it will reboot phone into it.
If not, try searching for "advanced menu" or "advanced menu end key" etc and should find an installer for it.
doesn't every custom rom has an .exe. with enter bootloader?

now that you mention it, that is true, but i don't think anyone uses that cause of the fact that there button works... lol
Let's think a little further. After flashing MAGLDR, how are you going to access the "usb flasher" mode?

You're right, he can flash hspl and put custom wm65 roms on his phone and run android off of sd cards, but without a working volume button, he can't use magldr to flash nand android or wp7 builds. In fact, if he flashes magldr, which I think he can still do, he will be stuck with just magldr and be unable to do anything or flash anything... and unable to get back into the boot screen to flash back to any wm65 roms.
