Since upgrading to the latest test ROM which evidently I am very pleased with, my FN + Comm button does not work, I have a JasJar.
Can anyone help me with the reg setting to reenable this keyboard shortcut?

You must be running the imate test rom. The function key to the comm manger did not work in that version. If you install the latest i-mate rom, the fn-o key works ok.

I update my MDA pro with this rom UNI_DOPOD_ASIA_130111_130230_11100_WWE.
And I don't install any cab in Extended rom.
But now smart dialing doesn't work.
In the dail pad,no drop list when push key, and when I push menu->Smart Dialing Options nothing happend.
How can I enable smart dialing again?
Need install something or just adjust setting?

Hi, I have installed the latest Imate ROM and have a few questions.
------- 1 SOLVED-------
1) How do you get the disconnect button for when you press the G and are connected to GPRS? As i only have a hide button.
------- 2 NEED HELP ------------
2) How do you set the hardware keyboard to the correct layout, as when i press ! on the keyboard i get ~. The normal alphabet characters seem to be fine, just a few symbols seemed to be messed up.
I am pretty sure they will be registry edits, but not sure which one!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you checked your regional settings under "start/settings/system tab/ regional settings.
It may be that you have it set to the wrong locale.
I did try to post earlier but I kept getting php errors, so sorry for the delay.
I think you have flashed your unit with a incorrect ROM for your locale. Its always better if you can flash the original ROM provided by your vendor. If you really need to flash to different language (e.g. UK English to US English), then you have to use a utility called aekmap, with appropriate key map loaded.

I think you are right as i had the English O2 ROM and flashed to the WWE imate ROM.
If I use the key board mapper and flashed back to O2 will i have to remap the keys?
Hi guys, i'm sorry for my bad english.
I really like the precious software PQzII, it's essential for me.
Today I have flashed a new rom Aku3.5 based on the Helmi Rom, and PQzII don't work.
I can see the icon and i can see when the "ALT" and "CTRL" keys are pressed, but when i press another key to launch a shortcut, nothing happens.
On the program directory there is the two DLL and on "Def" directory there is "key.ini" reagular.
Anybody have same experience?

i have a imate pda2k with qwerty keyboard.
wm6 doesn't recognize special characters like "." "@" "," and others.
with my old wm2003 i had to install after an hardreset a special cab to solve the problem.
i have tried this cab also in wm6 but without results.
does a fix exists ?

Seeking some help regarding the keyboard fix for tilt2. It was working fine for me when I use one of the official EUR 6.5 ROMs. I just flashed to a 6.5 WWE Hong Kong ROM with CHT and the cab is not working. I believe possibly because of the different IME for Chinese or the newer version of the ROM?
Instead of a cab is there some keys I can change/add to registry to fix that problem? It's driving me crazy not able to type properly...

I eneded up using the hwkeyboard cab to get the right FN and shift key....then I added takrim's keyboard control and reassigned all the keys to the correct place. Here's the XML file you can load to get all the keys...unzip and open keyboard config -> load -> and choose the xml file.
thanks for the xml, im having an issue with my numbers and symbols not working and this one seemed to remap it correctly when i put it into the keyboard config. However, the OK button is the FN button, and the FN button is caps lock, and im not sure what the capslock/shift button does (but it doesn't do anything when i press it)! . Is there a way to swap them in the config? i tried to do it myself but could only find how to create a rule and i dont think thats correct. Thanks!
install Toleraen's Tilt2KWKeyboard cab....for my initial testing it fix the FN and shift key but nothing else...
so now I have both the hwkeyboard cab installed - to fix FN and shift. Then use keyboard config + my XML for the rest.

I got to modify your 'Keyboardconfig.xml" one-by-one as it is not working for mine. This may due to different ROM version. Anyway, attached my copy of .xml file & I'm using WME version of ROM. Hope this help those having same problem.
