Emergency - Must REVERT Original Splash Screens ASAP - Read! - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

hello everyone.
I am still within my 30 day return period with my 8125. I need to exchange it because my keyboard is loose!
I updated ROM to the new IMATE, lost all WIFI , so reverted back to the cingular rom that is on the xda FTP , and I need to get the splash screens back to factory, i dont want to raise any brows when i return this thing.
can anyone help? my days are numbered!
thanks!

in an exchange in a shop they won't know how to check such minor details out. especially when it's not a software fault you are returning for.
chill
joe (the returns master)

hey joe.
i am sending the phone back to cingular.
they are shipping me a replacement and charging me for it, i get my money back when they recieve this phone at the warehouse.
he said they get the phone, restore it to factory settings, and then mark it as a refurb.
will they see this IMATE rom and ROM updates and give me some bull**** for that?
thanks for your response.
dan

Hope this previous post helps

there other posts, I think it possible. I know how you must feel - sort of mess I get myself into

Hope this too - change splash on charmer and wizard.

"That's my modest attempt to make the process easier...
Just put your 320x240 true color 24-bit .bmp, 'portrait' orientating image file named 'splash.bmp' and attached tool in the same folder, and run 'splash_bmp_to_wizard.exe'. Be sure, that ActiveSinc is connected.
wizSplash - new ver., splash backup is added. Before replacing splash image, put new file 'splash.bmp' into 'C:\wizSplash' folder.
Before you launch it, please disable firewall, antispy, antivirus, brandmauer..etc software! "

i used buttons tool to change the IMATE splash screen.
aparently no way to get rid of HTC's. this should do.
thanks guys

make sure you lock it again before sending it back.
All the best

When I was thinking of upgrading the ROM on my O2 badged XDA-mini-S, I was wondering what would happen if I had to return the device under warranty with the upgraded ROM.
I came to the conclusion that I have insurance on the phone, so any problems and my device will go for a swim before I pay the £20 excess and get a brand new device.
This also stops the network arguements that the any damage was caused by the upgrade or the infamous "ware and tear"

Help! My S100 doesn't wake up when cold?

Hello everibody,
I have an annoying problem: my Qtek sometimes prevents waking up! And only a soft reset can power it on!!!
But the crappiest thing, is that the device doesn't power on when it's cold! I have tested it!!!
PLZ HELP
It's an hardware prob? It's better to send it to repair? Thx
Oh, another thing  when the device is power off (and I can't power it on) the green led is still acting like normal, it even stops when no coverage is present. If I try to call to the S100, it rings but I can't do nothing? :?
Great forum, anyway. I have solved nearly ALL of my Qtek probs.
I will add these infos:
ROM: 1.06.04 ITA
RADIO: 1.05.00
Note: I have already tried with an Hard Reset. Nothing resolved. The device simply won't power up when it's below 20° C. And I don't know why.
Your Magician seems to be a candidate for the repair shop of for an exchange. Never heard about a problem like yours
Cheers
Uff... Nobody (except me) have this prob? Can someone try this? Before sending it to repairing, I would figure this s**t out! And maybe find a valid solution...
AND: How can I do the BigStorage trick on my ITA ROM? I know how, but with the other languages... Don't want a foreign ROM only for 20+MB...
I think upgrading the ROM can't change anything, if it's an hardware problem... I want an active device in this winter, cannot reset it all the time!
Possible Solution?
Yet nobody seems to have my prob. But before sending my S100 to the pocket pc heaven, I will explain a possible scenario. I've read that cold can reduce the battery charge dramatically. So what I am thinking:
1) The unit is absolutely normal when warm.
2) When the unit is cold, is STILL normal.
3) When I shut down the unit, the LED is STILL blinking.
4) But then -what the hell- it seems CAN'T turn it to the active status.
5) The only thing that I can do is to RESET the unit. Then when I control the battery status is ALL ok: same level as before. But there isn't the missed calls of who have called me when the unit is in this state!
I think that the low temperature affects the internal battery, reducing it to zero. When the S100 is on this effect couldn't be noticed, because the external battery constantly charges the the internal one. But the charge is not provided when in standby. And so the charge in the internal battery drains... making impossible to turn on the device! But when resetting, the external battery is give power to the internal one, and the device is now fully functional as before.
According to this mess, then I only need to replace the internal battery with anything better, and the device MUST work EVEN if cold...
Now I would like to listen to others, just to convalidate this theory...
Otherwise, the device will make a good and comfortable travel to the repairing center, hoping they will send me a completely new one ( I have accidentally scrachted it one time. And another.)
Hope that you will understand my Huff-Puff post. Hope that someone will see this post.
Cheers,
MocciJ
Yet no replies...
This damn thing has taked too time, and so I'm sending the device to the centre tomorrow...
I've tried to upgrade my old qtek rom to the 1.11 of the I-mate: nothing resolved...
Is it ok to send a device with an imate rom to a qtek centre? Lemme know...
my friend has same problem, I flash radio whit 1.13, 1.12 (rom is 1.12)
I shell open it ....
Click here to read of a similar problem
As far as sending your phone back, which judging by your signature you already have, you need an official rom to be installed if you want it covered by warranty. Not sure on Qtek's policies. Have you sent it yet? What did they say about your Jam rom?
Don't try to make the same thing I did. When try to changing to ANOTHER Rom Manufacturer to see if the problem vanish, remember (at least before sending it) to PUT THE ORIGINAL ROM IN IT!
THEY (AT REPAIRING CENTER) WILL SAY THAT THE SOFT IS CORRUPTED!
This way I avoided my warranty. Hope this info will help.
I'm deciding what to make now. Do I have to pay for this prob, or do I cover my qtek with warm clothes?
Or better find a solution?
If anyone has suggestions, I'm glad to listen. I want my pda back (it stayed out for a month, I miss it!).
Do not make hazardous moves with ur pda when it's in warranty. Or U will pay that the double it's price!

Is there any way you can take it to another repair shop? If I had your problem, ie turning it in with a wrong ROM and being rejected, I would just reflash and drive to another city to have it fixed. They would never know the difference.
If that isn't an option in your country, I guess you will have to pay for the repair, even though it is very unfair, because a 'wrong' ROM can't be the cause of this problem
Thx for this suggestion. Currently I have an Qtek rom perfectly working. But they delivered my Qtek to French for repairing (and I am from Italy), guessing that I haven't that option.
The only thing that I can do to riesumate my warranty is to declare that that rom is OK, downloaded from an official site. The cause is that when the Qtek hasn't made upgraded roms, the imate did. In case, I will say that the problem was there EVEN before the upgrade (it did).
There is currently NO SOLUTION to this problem (it's an hardware problem, and should be repaired by the repairing center -of course-)
-----
I will report what the World Startel Communication (the repairing center) has said (transcribed from italian to english):
1)The product is in delivering phase.
2)The product resulted to be irreparable. It will delivered back.
3)The repairing service has resulted to be out of warranty. We are waiting the consumer to pay the reparation (They said they sent me the price. Currently they seemed to haven't sent nothing).
4)The product has come to our labs.
5)The requested reparation is inserted in our knowledge system.
And that is. The Qtek has delivered, considered irreparable, and when out of warranty is ok for repairing? That's something odd... Considering that I've retrieved how to reach the tracking service only by calling the operator... Now that the S100 is in their labs, they say that the prob is in their knowledge system, which I ignore what it means. Now I suppose that the product reached French before checking the warranty, and this would be to pay something around 10-20€, IF I decide to not repairing the unit...
Ok, that's all. Hoping that this winter isn't getting cold.
Cheers,
MocciJ
Ok, the S100 is in repairing again. They will send me repaired with a price of 50€.
Hope that they will explain me what happened. Otherwise, sending it seems to be the only solution avaible.
They will raise up my warranty, almost that's what I've heard.
So this can be the end of the topic...
Cheers,
MocciJ
They are sending it back, but non-repaired. No cost, but nor warranty at all. They SIMPLY deleted my warranty taking it for 2 months.
Now, what's the real mess with the warranty? Oh yes, the ROM was changed from Qtek to an Imate one, official. They find out that there's a mix between these 2 software, and that they CAN'T upgrade or downgrade it at well: is this possible? Incredible!
They "sincerely" said that changing ROM required a new motherboard, which cost the godness of 200+€... Exactly half the original S100 cost!
QTEK CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! LONG TIME WAITING! NONE REGARDING OF THE CUSTOMER!
Now that my S100 is out from it's warranty, we'll return on how to resolve this TINY, LITTLE prob...
Do we have to cover our Magician with warm clothes? Just let me know your ideas...
Best Regards,
MocciJ

HTC 8120? What ever the cingular one is.

Anyways I've got the Wizard and for what ever reason screen alignment has been off so i try calibrating and a no go, the center of the screen seems dead as it doesn't respond and I tried a hard reset. Now it's stuck on the Alignment screen and i cant use the phone.
Two questions, a) is there a way to flash it back to the regular Windows Mobile 5 so i can send it to HTC or Cingular who ever takes care of repair so they don't go wtf! You have a modded rom! even though the rom isn't the problem.
b) is there a way to atleast skip the alignment so i can use the phone?
Try http://www.htcamerica.net/support/8125/software-downloads.html -- should be the shipped ROM.
Thanks, Cingulars sending me a new phone. Is there a way to call cingular or go somewhere to get my text messages that are still on the network? I have a few new ones from after the point where i reset my phone so they're still on the network. I dont have another cell phone to use so that's not an option.
Or how about somehow avoiding the touch screen alignment?

Cingular 8125 Frozen

I've got a Cingular 8125 (HTC Wizard) that is stuck on the first splash screen - the one with the Cingular image on the background displaying the IPL/SPL/GSM/OS information (image here)
I've flashed with the "button rom", the "wizard love rom", and tried the method to flash with a different rom to a CID locked device. The "button rom" and "wizard love rom" flashed fine, but it still hangs on that splash screen after the flash. I've reverted back to the "official" HTC rom, and it still does this.
The device is NOT CID/SIM unlocked.
This device is NOT under warranty. (A few months out actually, but it was purchased at full retail price without renewing a contract and Cingular seems unwilling to move on any sort of warranty replacement/repair -- big shock huh?)
Is there any hope?
Take out any sdcard/ mini sdcard in the phone and do a Hard Reset.
Button's and wizard are patched Roms, they can be safely flashed to a CID locked phone just like official rom,but no other custom Rom like wm6 will work or flash to a CID locked phone.
Secondly, when you flash, take out the sdcard,it sometimes creates problem in flashing if it needs formatting, and also close/disable any anti virus or firewall and don't surf the net or run any other program, rather try to close down any programs running at the background.
There is no SD Card in the phone, and the SIM card was out when it was flashed.
There have been so many hard resets done to it that it's not even funny.
All unneeded tasks were killed before performing the flash.
I'll try it again tonight (I left the phone at work to give me something to piddle with) just to make sure there wasn't some sort of fluke.
Does anyone think it would be a good idea to just buy an 8125 that has a broken screen or something and replace the innards of my frozen one with the innards of the one with the broken screen?
It isn't crucial that this phone be fixed - it's more of just something for me to fool around with to see if I can get it working. It was actually given to me for that purpose, but if I can get a cheap PDA phone on the cheap, then I'm all for it (even though I'd have to switch carriers - cause I'm pretty sure it won't work with Verizon.)
[EDIT]
I'm gonna try replacing the motherboard battery (I've successfully taken it apart and put it all back together without breaking more than it already is) and I'll report back once I get that replaced. Perhaps this is the problem?

T-Mobile UK another provider to let the side down

I made a big big mistake, just before Christmas...... I moved providers from o2to T- Mobile UK.
In my haste to be one of the first to own the HD2 I abandoned o2 because they were not getting thier stock til later on.....what a mistake!!!
T-Mobile customer service is pants....they have an automated service that takes about 10 minutes to get to where you want to be and then you get some bird who hasn't actually got a clue about the problem that you are enquiring about and then says she has to ask someone in tech support (when she is supposed to be tech support) she goes away for 10 minutes and then comes back and says that she can't help.
Now if you XDA chaps can assist
T-Mobile tech support say that they are currently testing a ROM update is this true or False?
T-Mobile instant messeging doesn't work....Why?
Sound is very crackly during calls... Why?
Cannot stream video....Adobe flash player for mobiles doesn't work and everytime I try to run a youtube video it says that it isn't available...should I be able to play streaming media on this phone?
Keyboard is hyper sensitive and often double taps...any way to prevent this?
I have an HTC leather flip case for this phone but whenever i turn off the power (required for my job) and slide the phone into my inside jacket pocket...it always turns itself back on....I am worried that it will ring....it could cost me my job.
Hotmail account won't configure
Takes ages to connect to a contact....Why?
I read the post that Vodaphone are not issuing an update for this phone.... are T-Mobile? and if not, is it legal?
The staff at T-Mobile were very unhelpful and quite brusque...as far as they are concerned they have got me locked into an 18mth contract and thats all they care about

Sounds like your a train driver, and my windows live has a problem too! Poxy thing!
MOst of these issues have LOADS of threads about them, so i'll be brief,
1 - many people have reported sms problems, read the LOTS of threads about it. I dont have this problem so cant offer any help, though tere is an update on the HTC website which could be your first stop.
2 - As above with sound, , read the threads
3 - TMobile set the hd2 up with a proxy server set. Go to the settings tab, click menu, all settings, connections, set up my proxy server and untick this connection uses a proxy. (again, dozens of threads about this)
4 - Lots of threads about the sensitivity, have a look at, for example, BSBtweaks, it can reduce the sensitivity, amongst other handy things.
5 - Sounds like the case is pressing against the power button, have a look and see if this is the case, maybe adjust the positioning of the hd2 in the case?
6 - Again, loads of threads about this.
7 - Not sure what you mean about 'connect to contact'
Sorry if i'm not answering very well, just wanted you to know there are loads of threads about most of your issues.
Happy reading!

Obvious answer, but set the phone to silent before you turn it off. That way, even if it does power on and ring, you just won't know.

It also sounds like you have a crap phone! I would be screaming the house down and quoting the sale of goods act etc to initially either get a replacement or if that doesn't please you cancel the contract. Saying that I have been with them for my 3rd 18 month contract now - I upgraded in late December - and everything worked fine and I have none of your issues. I also recently upgraded the ROM to one on here because to be honest the "official" ones are crap anyway!
I will admit their customer serice is shockingly ****e, although I had similar experiance with O2 and Vodaphone. You would not believe the conversations I had when I was enquiring about upgrading to the HD2! Eventually I got hold of someone who could not have been more helpful and I had the device within 24 hours. No regrets since...

I use T-mobile UK as my provider and, after checking the connections -> proxy tab the connection settings already installed does not have the use proxy server box ticked.
Old versions of the HTC connections setup utility used to install the wrong settings the stock uk T-mobile rom (version 1.43) doesnt have this problem.
If you have connection problems I would put them down to poor signal strength or the radio rom used.

Did you apply the protection screen on ?
In my case it reduced the screen sensitivity
You can find sth with good quality for 3 pounds (set of 3). Check in HD2 Accessories section on forum, I`ve seen about 3 topics about protective screens (films).

So Tony, I guess you Gold carded your phone to be able to use an XDA ROM?
I am a little worried about doing this as it would invalidate my warranty if It screwed up.

No idea.

I can, install the youtube youtubewvga.cab for full access.

Calm down, get into the phone, use the forums, read them a lot, section by section and you'll see that most of the issues with the phone are in fact user error !

no need to gold card. install hspl through pc, this then lets you install any rom, official or cooked. should you then need to revert back to stock rom just copy the nbh file to sd card (no need to be gold) and it will not only flash back to stock rom but overwright hspl to default too, thus restoring the warranty.
the important part is making sure there is a stock rom available for your phone + network as backup.(go read the "official roms"thread to see... i don't think theres a t mob stock rom up there yet, but im sure there will be before long, or you could be the hero who dumps a stock tmob rom and be hailed as a god by all the tmo users!)
also since there isn't a t mob up there, gold card still wouldn't help because there is no official one to flash back to for warranty purposes.
With regards to the youtube issue, you may find you have to phone up customer services to get content lock turned off.
They put this on to stop children etc watching inappropriate content.
It took me a few mins on the phone to get this done.
I have found the T-mobile Customer support to be very good. If ever you've been with Three you will have nothing but praise for T-mobile staff.

I might have some of the terminology wrong so please don't be too hard on me

Installing a HardSPL will unlock your phone so that you can install any ROM onto it - that includes stock HTC ROMs, cooked ROMs, or anything else.
Using HardSPL and/or installing a ROM other than the type was designed for (e.g. from your carrier if it's a carrier-branded phone) will void your warranty.
However, if your phone does develop a fault, then (assuming it is still functioning well enough that you can still flash it) you can use a stock ROM of the appropriate type to put both a legal ROM and a legal SPL back onto it, and leave your phone in a state where they can't tell it was ever flashed with anything naughty, and will thus have to honour your warranty after all.
hehe, its a minefield of confusion.
you can run any rom you like if you instal hspl (I'm) currently running a cooked rom on my o2 locked phone.... BUT ...should I need to send it back I have a copy off the official o2 rom as backup.
if I flash the o2 rom from the pc, it doesn't remove hspl, but if I flash it from the sd card it DOES remove hspl.
your problem is that there currently isn't a tmob rom for you to keep for backup to remove hspl (flashing from sd card the phone does id checks on the rom, hspl it doesn't)
with a gold card it lets you flash any official rom BUTT of course that doesn't help either because there still isn't a tmob for if you need to send it back.
hope that explains it better !do ask again if still confused.

I believe there are two official t-mobile roms to download - links can be found in the ROM forum.
I downloaded
RUU_Leo_TMO_UK_1.43.110.2_Radio_Signed_15.26.50.07U_2.04.50.22_2_Ship
as a backup before flashing. I think the other version is 1.43.<something else>
I've not actually tried it but i'm pretty sure you can trust it is what the uploader says it is.

I believe there are two official t-mobile roms to download - links can be found in the ROM forum.
I downloaded
RUU_Leo_TMO_UK_1.43.110.2_Radio_Signed_15.26.50.07U_2.04.50.22_2_Ship
as a backup before flashing. I think the other version is 1.43.<something else>

Ahhh I didnt look that hard, my o2 one is in the first link, never had to, , hehe.
@Timax_50 - there you go, to see if it works, download that, extract the exe file to a folder (dont run it) find the RUU_signed.nbh file (about 200 meg size) copy it to your sd card (fat 32 recommended) rename it leoimg.nbh, reset your phone to boot mode (vol down + tap power) and IF its the correct one, it will let you flash back to factory default. If it fails, its not the correct stock rom and it will stop.
If its good, you can hspl and if you ever need to remove the hspl, just do that sd card flash with that file.
If you run the update from the pc, even though it is a stock rom, it will NOT remove hspl, only if you do it sd card.
My O2 HD2, setup with t-mobile UK has the proxy setting ticked and works fine....
strange.
Yeah as someone else said... stick with the phone... as you get into it you'll find ways to do things. I still have the 1.43 ROM on my T-Mobile HD2 but I now have the phone doing most of what I want.

[Solved] HTC HD2 Touchscreen not working, not responding, frozen, malfunctioning

The Problem: My HTC HD2 touchscreen has progressively gotten worst over 2 months. At first, the keyboard was typing up wrong alphabets, then major function keys begun to malfunction, and later the whole screen. From XDA reviews, I found that changing Radio, WM, or Android ROM do not help.
Solution:
This instruction may apply to Tmobile USA users. In my search for a Do-It-Yourself fix, I searched internet for several days to no avail. Amazon.com sells Touchscreen and Digitizer but their results were inconsistent; the replacement also required time, skills & instruments that I do not have.
Tmobile: Tmobile (800 number) asked me to restore OS, but it did not work. They asked me to take it in the Tmobile store. The store associate looked at the phone, but they did not want to do anything with the phone as I did not buy my phone from Tmobile - they directed me to HTC or a local repair shop. Local repair shop was going to charge $100 for a repair and turn around time of 15 days.
HTC : I called HTC (888 356 2375). As the phone was still under warranty, they offered to take a look at it & repair it. HTC also mentioned that if the warranty is void for any reason, they would charge $39.00 for a triage fee and call me to confirm the repairing cost (in addition to triage fee). HTC mentioned that any illegal softwares found on the device would void the warranty.
Restore to OEM:
I had to restore my softwares to OEM as I installed a newer radio, HSPL, MAGLDR, and a custom windows ROM. To do so, following ROM was flashed :
RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_2.10.531.0_Radio_Signed_15.34.50 .07U_2.08.50.08_2_Ship
Flashing above ROM restored ORIGINAL OEM radio, SPL, and Windows ROM. It also removed MAGLDR.
After restoring softwares to OEM, I sent the phone in. The repair was done by HTC without any charge. After sending the phone in, I had my phone back in 1 week - fairly quick service compared to all the other options I had at hand.
In the process, HTC kept me informed via email regularly. I talked to several HTC reps and they were very accommodating and courteous. I mentioned to HTC that my battery drains very easily. Promptly (in 2 days), HTC sent me a replacement battery for free. They mentioned that as long as the phone is under warranty, they will replace accessories ONCE for free. I will buy HTC again despite the touchscreen problem.
Immediately after receiving the phone, I installed newest Radio, HSPL, MAGDLR & my first Android NAND [HD2_Core_Droid_Desire_HD_V1.4_NAND_ONLY_LEO1024_TOUS]. The android ROM is rocking even harder straight out of box.
Enjoy.
Had the same, perfect service from HTC.
Got it back in a box that said "im back" .. Took 4 weeks though.
This made my decision to stay with HTC in the future.
Same problem, possible not yet solved
My UK T-Mobile HD2 started this in December 2010, I found that 3 or 4 hard resets got it going, but the next day it did it again so sent to T-Mobile repair center, they stripped it put it back together. No Fault Found. Updated the firmware (well re-installed it as there was no newer version avaialble at the time and sent it back to me.
It worked a treat for 5 weeks then the problem was back. Sent away again, Firmware update. No Fault Found (T-Mobile had now released the 3.14 ROM) so I did get an update this time, again came back working. Even better this time as the new radio version allowed me to run an SD Android Build.
You know where this is going, lasted 3 or 4 weeks, same again, Back to T-Mobile Store, this time I did not try a hard reset prior to taking it in, so they could see the fault, I did one reset in store and the fault persisted as it always did after the first two or three, and then off to the repair centre again.
Its due back in the next day or two, No Fault Found!!! Firmware updated
I guess it will be going back again a 3 to 5 weeks.
Perhaps I should drop an e-mail to HTC to see if they can help.
Do you know what they did to yours, did they replace anything?
Cheers Bashy...
My display was soo broken that an firmware upgrade didnt help, not even for a second.
On the repair note (0eu) it said that my screen was replaced.
I had the same problems as in the OP.
Running beter then ever now.

No doubt, Tmobile attempts to be helpful. But, I consider HTC, as a manufacturer, to be well-prepared to deal with their own product's issues. If you have these problems repeatedly, I recommend you contact HTC directly. They may send you a new replacement instrument altogether. I had several positive surprises from HTC.
HTC No Longer Repairs HD2
I know this is an old thread, but I have an HD2 with a digitizer that quit working that I wanted fixed. I just called HTC and was told that they have not been able to find a proper way to fix the phone and that they would not be able to repair it even if I paid them. This came from the customer service manager. Both the service rep and I were left without words. He couldn't believe that this was the response as he has never heard of such a thing. HTC has taken the HD2 out of their repair database. Seems pretty sketchy to me. Obviously they know about the problem and it sounds like they should issue a recall on the product if it consistently breaks on people with normal use and they have no way of repairing it.
HD2 screen not working
They fixed mine on Feb 22, 2011 for free under a warranty. I suggest you do not give them the diagnosis of digitizer is not working. Instead, just tell them the problems you have and let them tell you what is wrong with the phone.
If is going to cost an arm and a leg to fix the phone or a 1 month of outage from cellphone, I recommend you get a new phone from Craigslist or eBay. HD2 are dirt cheap now. Good luck.
hd2 is dead

Yep - i'm not surprised. I purposely bought the HD2 to get dual boot setup. Lasted two months and then screen stopped responding when screen locked. Eventually could not unlock at all. I stripped the phone, put in new screen and digitiser and new keypad buttons and then flashed back to original rom too.
GUESS WHAT??? STILL BUSTED.
So you can try many fixes found online, but I reckon once it busted don't waste your money just bin it.
SAD

From what i've seen too, it is very difficult to actually repair the digitizer without causing new secondary problems. I paid my repair shop over 155 usd to repair an hd2 with usb and touchscreen problems and they just replaced the virtually the entire hd2 (mainboard+LCD+digitizer). And it still had problems in the end!

hey dood, i had nand on my US tmoble HD2 touch screen went out, i have a few posts you should follow if you are going for warranty.
i had to download the software from the tmoble website..... You will need an IMEL number for this ...... or go and try to find your stock rom on the interwebs...... have a secondary SD card (not the one in your phone) follow the SPECIFIC steps and drop your new file on the new sd card and replace it with the one in your phone then follw normal booting steps in the tri color screen.,..... i do have a post that is a quck rundown with a little bit more info........ but the main thing is.... if you send it for warranty you have to put YOUR (country/carrier specific) stock rom on or they will fully charge you....... hope this helps....... other than that its a phone issue i belive its the screen digitizers.... so if not under warranty thats what it will cost to fix
Thank you
Thank you. that helped me as well.
