an ebay buyer bought this from me and then claimed that it is does not worked and returned it back to me... I was really cooperative with him but he is a Jurk.

Hi. My special needs son used a set of keys as a stylus and has made a couple of holes in the screen. I am in the UK and can buy a new screen for £65 on eBay but can find no instructions for fitting it. The firm will fit it for me but this cost an extra £25.
Anyone help me out please with some information?

In fact, my friend, I used the search function before I did anything and it came up with about a thousand hits of which the first hundred were no good!

Learn to use the search engine? It came up straight away if you use the 'all words' function....and I attached the link for you but you obviously haven't realised as 'you are' desperate for the info not 'you were'...

Another reason to get the screen vendor to fit the screen is that there are 2 possible screens for the wizard - unless you have opened the phone before purchase you will not know which, so if they post you 'a' wizard screen you may get the wrong one and I doubt they'll take it back. If you send them your device it's their problem if it's the wrong one, just watch they don't blame your board for being faulty and try and charge you anyway.
Some vendors sell magician screens saying they fit wizards and this is true in some cases but not all. The 'wrong' screen will display strange colours and look washed out or not display anything.
From experience, most ebay screen vendors etc don't actually know this.
For the total price ( £90) why not try HTCEuropes's service dept if you have a t-mobile vario? They don't touch o2 devices and may be slightly more than £90 but they will fit the correct screen and your warranty will not be invalidated.
Hello my dads mogul screen has broken (leaking to be exact) but we didnt get insurance on any of our 4 moguls and my dad is to proud to be a complainer and try to play for a free phone so he wants me to look for a new lcd screen and where going to replace it. So please post a price a picture and condition.
and screen protector opinions are gladly welcome

It shouldn't be too hard to find a screen. Is it out of the mogul? Get the serial number/part number off the back and search it through either ebay or google. If you cant find it, post a photo of the back of the screen and i'll help you find it.
i got a spare... from my parts mogul...
but it has the START of the white spots on 2 area's of the screen... been like that for months so i dont know if its going to get worse...but as far as i can tell i dont notice it unless its a solid color screen... its also always had a screen protector on it...
just to throw it out for you...
naw guys but thanks for all the offers but i found on for 44.9 with shipping as gsm4world.us and its brand new o and the one said the thing bout the dots all screens get them eventually. any guide on how to do it too is welcome since ill be the one opening it up

Okay I received my Nexus 7 today and as soon as I opened it I realized that the screen is pretty messed up and the screen appears pretty "white" or washed up. Now I've read some fixes on here which seem to work after you root your device. Will this work for me? Because if not, I have until tomorrow to return the device for a replacement or a refund so I was wondering what I should do.

I got one with the same problem, rooting didn't make any difference. Return it for a replacement.
Tried the fixes and it does work but there is still the washed out effect at the edges of the screen. I guess I'll just have to replace it. That's going to be a pain!
I woke up today with my i9505 having a little pink smudge. It's on the screen. I don't think it's because of pressure applied to the screen.
What can be the cause of this? How can I fix this?

It's very unnoticable on the picture because I took it with a ****ty camera. But it's a real annoyance to my OCD. It's somewhat noticable on white backgrounds.
Can't paste a full link. Forums say I can't post a photo when 10 posts or less.
I had a pink vertical line almost going through the center of the screen 3 months ago, it is mostly due to pressure applied, but i took it to the Samsung Service Centre and they replaced it for free! Dunno if they do it in other countries though. Took around 3-4 hours before i got the phone back good as new!
I am about to take it to my service center, but I am still thinking that my warranty might be void solely because I don't have my warranty card / receipt. They got washed out when my place got terribly flooded. So, I'm taking my chances if there are atleast any fixes to this.

This is XDA DEVELOPERS, not XDA service centre, warranty information centre or anything else.
You have a faulty phone, take it back to where you purchased it from. SIMPLE.
No one here on XDA can help you any more than they have already.

Hi guys, I'm new and I have a problem with Note 4, I took the phone to assistence for the the broken glass, when they gave me back the phone, I turned on the phone and I had the pink screen, and even the white writing was pink, i came back to assistence , and they said it was a software problem, I tried everything but I can not fix it, can you help me? :crying::crying:

Yeah. Sounds like they may have replaced your display with a faulty unit. Ask them to replace it or threaten to press legal action.
