Dear All,
I have been for the past 3 weeks trying to know if it's possible to write an
application that would send/receive the phone audio conversation to a pc if
the device is places on the cradel?
What i want to do is to use my pc's mic and speaker as a headset. I was
thinking that this can be done, since a friend of mine has bluetooth on his
laptop, i paired my phone with his laptop via bluetooth, and one of the
services provided was Audio Gateway, and used his laptop's mic and speakers
as a bluetooth headset.
I wonder how this is implemented since i want to do something like that over
the Cradel connection. or any other media as a matter of fact
Your help is really appreciated

You've got the answer in your post. Simply get a bluetooth adapter that preferably has widcomm drivers (I know they work like this). Set it up as an audio gateway and pair with it, hopefully you should now be able to use it as a headset.
Is there any pc program to emulate the functions of a bluetooth headset like answer the call or reject it, display the caller number?
hi all thanks for your replies:
fruitloaf - i think u didnt get my question. I want to emulate that, i want to write an application on the PPC Phone that when i answer i can capture the audio convo (mic/speaker) and transfere it to the PC maybe via the pass through when the device is on the cradel.
jacusi1980 - i will write an application on the PC that will handel the answering, dialing, rejecting etc. Which also i would like to know how can i control the answering rejecting etc remotely.
Thanks
I have a laptop with no microphone, but it has bluetooth. Is there a way that the magician can act as a bluetooth headset for my pc?
In that way i don't have to buy a microphone, and can make wireless phonecalls with skype.
Thanks!
As far as I know, the Microsoft Stack doesn't offer the possibility to work as BT Headset. It can only use BT Headset. I can also not see a possibility in software to configure such a functionality.
Pocket Skype might be able to do what you want. In a round about way.
Run Pocket Skype on your PDA and access the internet via BT through your laptop.....is that possible?
I don't think the data rate would be sufficient.

Thanks for the suggestion
I will try that as soon as i get home!
The goal is, not only to use skype(or an other voip network) but also to use voice with MSN messenger on my pc trough the microphone of the magician.
Any suggestions for MSN or something like windows soundrecorder (sndrec32.exe).
maybe selecting the 'what you hear' in the recording properties. I guess you'll be hearing an echo if you do that.
orb works great u can even watch video from ur pc and webcam as well... www.orb.com
as of skype, you can use ur bt to activesync w/ laptop, then start using ur skype...np...
btw, I have try it w/ minixda n xda2s 2003se...not w/ wm2005....enjoy
Yup orbs the one i use... it works well but takes up a fair bit of resources on your pc at times.. mp3s stream over the bluesioil stack via windows networking but im going to try this new stack soon (the one just posted about in the magician forum).
Go the mini!! hehe
Since I have Web server configure, I use TCMP player to open media file w/ HTTP. Works greats.
Hello all, I am trying to find a way to transfer voice call to PC so I can use PC speakers and mic to answer the phone. Anyone know what I can do? Thanks in advance.
I could do it through Bluetooth. Pair both the Device and your PC and connet to Audio Gateway service.
Once you get a call you should be able to answer it from the PC itself
Hi pprakash
Do you know if I need anythig program to do that?? I try to register my Atom thru BT but I couldn't locate Audio Gateway serv. Many Thanks.
Hi. I figured it out already. It is BT problem with XP Serv 2. All solved now so I can integrated auto answer with PC on top of home automation. Thanks again for your advice.
Good Day!
I want to use my Asus EEE 901 in my car for hands free and video vs..
I tried to connect pc and netbook via bluetooth (Bluesoleil 6.4.249 and Centrafuse). I'm hearing normally via netbook's speaker but the others can't hearing or very bad voice. I'm also tried with external microphone but nothing's changed.
Maybe anyone knows better way to connect diamond 2 to pc for hands free. Or can i connect via usb and use my computer's speaker and microphone for mobile calls?
Thank you for your help.
PS. So sorry for bad English.
I'm using WM 6.5 original with manila 2.5
It is crazy to wonder if a bluetooth headset might make possible telephone calls through Skype? If not, is it a matter of software or hardware limitation. I can get my BT headset to pair, but haven't yet tried to set up Skype (I'm Skype illiterate). Is the foundation for processing digital voice to deliver to the Skype app in the Android OS for Nook. Might it be only necessary to change some flags to enable it?
Just wonderin'
I was thinking of doing the same thing. But I read somewhere that the BT on the NC has a really short distance, of around 1-2 feet. I hope it works

Has development for BT ceased? Would be very interested to have audio/VOIP piped through the device to a headset.
