Wizard's Processor performance

I'm Considering a Wizard as a replacement for a Blue Angel but reading the specs I see it only has a 200Mhz CPU, although I did read somewhere that it was a Dual core CPU..Is this correct or was it a typo on the web page?
Anyway I just wondered if anyone on here who has owned both could comment on the relative performance of the Wizard against the Blue Angel with it's 400Mhz CPU.
One of my main uses is TomTom5 and although my Blue Angel handles it fine at 400Mhz I also have an ageing Toshiba E330 Pocket PC (300Mhz CPU) that really struggles with TomTom5.
Anyone using a Wizard with TomTom5 like to comment on how it performs?

You will find that the K-Jam is a bit slower in opening applications than the Blue Angel. However, once they open they generally work fine. I run a number of processor heavy apps from time to time, including Tom Tom with no problems. (BTW, Tom Tom is not installable using the set up CD's directly but you can use the cab files on them. I've had the Wizard for about 2 weeks now and i can say i'm fairly pleased with CPU, everything runs fine but i've heard there is a tool to raise the speed of the CPU in this phone. does anyone have information regarding this tool ?

O2 XDA NEO OR ATOM ?

I post here because there's someting that seems weird for me.
A know that Qtek S200 is also sold as O2 XDA NEO. But is the O2 Atom also the same device ? If not, would the rom be compatible ? (so as to put the Atom in french or in english)
I just port this because I'm feeling like buying the HTC Prophet but I saw somewhere that the atom has an FM tuner and a 416 Mhz Proc so I would prefer this one I think, (Am I right ?)

The O2 Atom is not an HTC Prophet device. It is manufactured by Quanta so is a totally different beast. I've been told that the FM tuner only works with the headset plugged in.
While the processor in the Atom has a "faster" clock speed, it is an Intel chip whereas the Prophet has an OMAP chip. The latter's "lower" clock speed does not mean that everything runs more slowly.
I played with an Atom a few days ago and didn't like it compared with my Magician. I'm gonna go check out the iMate JAMin (Prophet).

Hi, I have a Prophet (S200) and a friend of mine has an Atom. The Atom is indeed faster, but so far I am quite happy with the prophet's speed. On the other hand, Prophet has many buttons that make 1-handed operation easy, and has phonepad for easy texting.
FM radio on atom works only with headset plugged in since the cable acts as antenna. Don't know if you can still send it over BT (no BT headset to try, sorry).

XCPUScalar and hermes

Somebody has already used XCPUScalar with the tytn ?
If it's yes could you give the best speed ?

xcpuscalar works for pxa processors, hermes uses a samsung processor, so it doesn't work.

you can use only Pocket Hack Master - http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=7258 , but only for underclocking device, to lower frequencies, you should have more battery life, but slower application. When I played with this settings I must HR my device, because he become crazy. you can overclock device only to few MHz, but you should have stability problems.

Can "Skype" be installed on Omap 200mhz processored QTEK S200???

Hi friends, i wanted to ask only if "Skype" can be installed on Omap 200mhz processored QTEK S200 or not?
If it can be, i will buy that device but i used Hp rw6815 of my friend's a month ago, Skype was installed when it was bought from the shop, is it installed on Qtek S200 too when i buy it, if not can we download it from the web and install on Omap 200Mhz processored Qtek?

Skype works ... in any threads you can found Regkeys for Skype, then it works with less CPU and you can use it over GPRS connections, with good Quality

BatteryStatus and Hermes

I currently have an MDA with BatteryStatus installed. I should be getting my 8525 today, will the overclock feature work on the Hermes?

i really doubt it, as far as i know it only works on OMAP processors. anyway, why would you need to overclock a hermes? it has a 400MHZ processor!

nope wont work as stated above different processor but all other funtions work as I have it on one of my hermes just can't overclock

go for latest Pocket Hack Master 4.30.047
manage to overclock samsung processor from 400 to 450 mhz
