Contact mismatch between outlook and qtek2020??

I have a Qtek 2020, and i just finished writing ca. 250 contacts in my Ms Outlook with all the information i need - BUT
Ive noticed, that Ms Outlook automatically formats a phone number to be i.e. +45 60 30 20 10 and not +4560302010.
Doing this, my Qtek does not recognize the phonenumber when i synced my contacts with the Qtek, and therefore i can see the number on the phone, but it does not link with the contact information???
I have tried to adjust it manually in the phone, deleting the spaces in the phonenumber, but it just goes back to normal, when i sync my contacts again.
I have ROM 1.60.00WE and radio version 1.06.01 on a qtek 2020.

i had that issue at one point i changed them on the xda
and set activesync to replace anything which were not the same
as the pocketpc that solved it

Why don't notes sync?

My notes will not sync. I have 25 on my KJam but they have been wiped out in outlook. Is this a known issue?

Anyone? this is still a problem. This a problem for anyone else?

I haven't seen this. But if you have drawings or voice recordings, those notes will cause not sync completely....but my notes are fine.
Maybe try unchecking the notes sync and rechecking. Or deleting the notes and restoring them.

I own a SPV M3000 with a QTek ROM on it.
Almost the same problem here.. ..except that it does sync notes when I have "main memory" selected, but it doen't sync when I want to store the notes on my Storage Card

spartanrob, what version of outlook are you using?

I'm going to have to check when i get back from vacation, i'm not sure what version the company has loaded.

I had the same problem, notes would not sync, all other items would sync perfectly. For some reason, suddenly notes started syncing and have been since. Occasionally they give a sync error, but disconnecting and reconnecting again take care of that. I didn't change anything in Active Sync, so I have no idea how the problem was solved. Just some weird Active Sync issue I guess.

Please help. atachments in outlook

When syncing with my outlook, the attachment does not come over to the jasjar.
I have all setting for it turned on, like save to SD card, and no limit on the atachment sizs.
Can anyone please tell me what Im doing wrong ?

If you sync email, then chenge attachment rules and resync my experience is that activesync wont sync attachments to mails allready on the device? maybe thats the problem?
if thats the case the work arround is to set activesync to sync 0 days of mail, let it sync, and the set it for the desired amount of days again...

Active Sync Contacts

Hello everyone. I am have an issue when try to syncronize my contacts via active sync 4.1. When I establish my partnership between my PDA and my laptop, I can choos the contact tab in te partnership wizard. Everything looks good until I actaull syncronize. When I sync, contacts does not actually sync. When I look at the setting on the PDA, I see that contacts is unselected and I cannot selected.
I have tried repair my office. Uninstalling an reinstalling outlook as well as activesync. This is very frustrating... Any ideas??!!?? :shock:

Not reinstalling ! Isn't the problem...
In your contact unsync, you may have photo or notes...
either you remove photos and comments, or you recreated your contacts by adding photos and comments to it since the pda.
I have an M3000 Orange and the same problem...

Still having a problem syning contacts with AS4.1
Problem: Contacts option greyed out in 8125's syning option
Info: Cingular 8125, Outlook 2003, XP, via USB, Acitve Sync 4.1
I have tried searching...found this post but it did not help since none of the contacts have photo's or notes attached.

But it never resolved the issue. I did try the suggestions - but still isn't working.

Just a guess... I had similar problems when I first got my phone. Any chance that you brought in your contacts via the Sim?
You can copy or move contacts from the sim using the phone's SIM Manager app.

Bringing in Contacts
Nope. The contacts that were in the SIM have not crossed over. I want the contacts that are in Outlook. But as long as contacts is greyed out I can't. Thanks.

I have the exact same issue on my 8125. The contacts box is grayed out on the device's ActiveSync Options (unchecked). I am unable to sync contacts. Any idea what is wrong? I searched everywhere without any working solution???

ActiveSync issue
OK, I have a pattern that I use all the time that keeps me out of trouble. Perhaps it will work for you guys. Verify that Outlook on the PC has all the data you eventually want on the Wizard. Then, on the PC side "delete mobile device" in activesync. If that finishes and everything gets deleted from the Wizard, fine. Disconnect the Wizard, remove activesync 4.1 and update to 4.5. Do a hard reset of the Wizard (sorry, everything will be wiped out), and after its fully rebooted, correct the time and time zone settings in the Wizard, and reconnect to the PC.
If the "delete mobile device" doesn't look like it worked, try just disconnecting the Wizard, uninstalling 4.1 and installing 4.5, hard reset of the Wizard and continue as above.
When you first set up the profile, in activesync, uncheck everything EXCEPT contacts. So only the contacts will sync the first time. After that works successfully, add the calendar and tasks. After that try adding other stuff to the sync profile.

sync not working

Hi, im trying to sync my m3000 with outlook 2003. Ive got a dutch version of outlook2003, activesync 4.5 and an english version of wm6. Activesync says that everything is synced but i dont see any contacts or emails in outlook... Can someone help me?

go into options in activesync and make sure that the checkboxes for contacts, calendar, and tasks are checked off.
from the rest of your post it sounds like you have activesync functioning properly.
