Deleted program Illium software ewallet from XDA 2 Mini however now every time the PC activates, I receive the following;
"Notification error. Cannot execute \ storagecard \ Illium software eWallet(pocket PC\ewallet.exe".
Any advice on how to remove this program completely and stop notification error.
You could try a program called "MemMaid" that does a registry clean and will delete dead shortcuts.

GO TO :
1 PROGRAMS
2 OPEN FILE EXPLORER
3 WINDOWS
4 START MINU

YOU CAN DELETE IT FROM THERE .

I blame this stupid program called "iMusic" (nothing to do with Apple).
I installed it, assuming it is WM5 compatible, but it isn't (and that's another story), so I uninstalled it. But now every time I turn on the Universal a Notification Error pops up with the message "Cannot execute \Program Files\iMusic\iMusic.EXE"
It's still there after soft-resetting; and no, I'm not going to even consider doing a hard-reset for this!
I've already done a search for "iMusic" in PHM RegEdit but nothing was found; no iMusic related files in the Windows\StartUp folder.
Any solutions?
Download Memmaid or sktools and check your notification queue. There you will find an entry for the power on event (probably). Just delete it.

Never mind - I'm going to flash the Qtek AKU2 ROM anyway, but thanks Vijay.
Can someone help ? I tried Interkey but was not able to make it run with WM2005 on my Universal, uninstalled it but partially. Now I get a notification error each time I open my XDA Exec with this msg: "Cannot execute \Windows\IKAgent.exe". How can I remove it ?
Thank you,

Has anyone ever figured this out? The link above directs you to the interlink website. That doesn't tell you how to delete this horrible and annoying popup. I have lived with this for 2 years and can't stand it anymore. I have deleted all the paragon software I can find. I've deleted everything Interkey. I have searched the registry and deleted for interkey or anything remotely similar. The only thing I can think of as to why this popup keeps coming up is that Paragon over wrote the normal Keyboard file so I need to restore that file. Any clues???
Have you had a look in \Windows\Startup\ folder?
If not look in registry HKCU\Software\HTC\Bootlauncher
Removing InterKey 3.0
1. Go to Start>Settings>System>Remove programs.
2. Select Paragon Software InterKeyPPC and tap Remove.
3. Tap Yes to confirm removal. Wait until the system completes uninstalling InterKey 3.0 and a reboot prompt appears. Tap OK to reboot.
Worked fine for me
My MDA Vario keeps giving me a cprog.exe error when entering the dialing screen.
any ideas?
What mods have you done to your phone? In particular have you installed a new dialer. Cprog.exe error as far as i am aware is a security policy error where you have incompatible software. Remove any software that may be causing this, but often you have to resort to a hard reset.
I did have the same error yesterday on my HTC Touch HD. The error started after installing HD tweak (version 0.5.4). I removed this tool and till now.... no error (fingers crossed).
Hopes this experience helps somebody in the future.
btw)) the HTC touch HD in a nice toy
Hi guys,
id have it too today because of replace the pim.vol file (contacts, calender ...)
i restore the file and its ok now
sup
i had like 8 errors today :S i haven't installed any program in past 14 days...i had just exchange server & that's all. is it possible that cprog.exe error appears coz of my last install of PHM reg edit program? (arroudn 14 days ago)
I found the solution.
Go to file explorer in the device cut and copy your 'pim'file into my document or delete it.then soft reset your phone. Another pim will be created automatically ,which will be blank one.you might lose your contacts and dial history.Back up your contacts before using this. After soft reset this will solve the problem
I have same problem , but I can't delete the pim file

Click to collapse
use Total Commander to delete them
I fixed my HTC HD2 by this method. I was unable to delete the pim file, so I moved it to 'my documents' folder. Then I did a soft reset. Lo and behold a new pim file appeared where it belonged. I was now able to delete the old pim file from 'my documents' folder. Wham..the device worked like a charm again. Fast running on all apps and no 'cprog.exe' error messages or locking up. Thanks heaps.
Guys,
First let me say that I not an expert on MDA like most of you guys, but I have been able to follow instructions very well. I did the 2.26 upgrade available from T Mobile last June (2006) on my own. Recently, I used Lokiwiz3a to unlock my phone for using Cingular SIM and even changed EDGE set up from T-Mobile to Cingular. So in short, I can read instruction and follow them successfully. YOu get the idea about my level.
Anyway, I was cleaning some stuff from my miniSD card and removed on folder that contained some Flex mail demo stuff (from MiniSD NOT WINDOWS folder in My device). I did some other cleaning to take some T-Mobile stuff off my device.
In this cleaning, I messed up my mailing. Here is the current condition.
The problem is...
1>When I click either messaging icon or the messaging file nothing happens.
2> When I use send email or send SMS option from contacts, nothing happens.
Here is icons condition..
1> I can see no. of unread email in today screen, but the counter is not showing curent (new information). It is just set at old counter.
2> Email option of Pocket MSN also shows old hotmail counter as above.
3> I can see the messaging icon in Start Menu on Today.
4> There is NO messaging icon in Program folder that opens when you click program icon (Like Setting icon) in Start menu on Today.
When I use File Explorer...
1> Windows folder has "Messaging" file has size 11B with date stamp of 06/09/06.
2> Windows/Messaging folder has all the message files < 1kb (1kb was my message header limit).
3> Windows/Programs folder has no icon or file.
4> Windows/Start Menu folder has the file "Messaging" with size 11B and date stamp of 06/07/06.
5> Windows/Start Menu/Programs folder has no "Messaging" file
Finally general information, my MDA was T-Mobile with 2.26 Rom upgraded and WM5.
Also, another minor issue...I can't see comm manager on bottom right(I think it is cal init tray) of the today screen.
Regards,
Rohit
Hey guys,
today i received my P4350, i backed up my sms from my XDA-Neo with PPCimBackup and restored them onto the P4350...
But now i´ve got an unread mail in my sms folder, without any sender, message text or anything else. the receive time is always the actual time and i cant delete or move it.
has anyone of you an idea how to fix that?
I dont want to hardreset the device.
Greets Mäffjus
Additonal Info: It is running WM6 (by default).
Phantom SMS? Try to connect your device to desktop thru Jeyo Mobile Companion (trial version available at www.jeyo.com) and delete that SMS. Soft Reset.
its not working, ist shows now sms in inbox...i`m not sure why....
Maybe an error in the inbox database? can i edit the file via Hex or windows (XP) editor?
Further, do you know how i can disable the terrible sound when i sent an sms and the windows pops up? i found no entry in the registry.
hey, no further ideas?
easy as pie
just delete your sms/email inbox. It's the: " cemail.vol " In the mobile root directory. It'll be protected so you'll have to use a trick to get rid of it. Credit goes to Arkhipenko over at mobilitysite.com but here's a quick cut/paste of the solution.
"Hi,
I have recently discovered that my cemail.vol file went crazy: the outlook folders became misaligned.
Without much details of WHAT happened, I needed to delete cemail.vol.
It is not a simple thing since the file is constantly locked by some process (no idea which - I tried killing most of them via MemMaid to no success).
Anyway, to cut the long story short, one way to do it is to use...
Mortscript (what else!)
Create a simple script:
Delete "\cemail.vol"
Place a shortcut to this script to a \Windows\Startup folder and reset: you will have a brand new cemail.vol file when everything boots up (at least I did).
Don't forget to delete the shortcut, or you'll have a brand new cemail.vol every time you boot. "
