ActiveSync and Windows XP SP2

Hello, just got my XDA Exec and i have had a major problem when trying to connect it to my laptop. When I try and install ActiveSync 4.1 it says i have to update XP to SP2, but when I try to do this I find I can't as it says my Windows XP Key isn't recognised as valid. Does anyone know any ways round this or if the exec works with another version of activesync.

Daft question, but is your XP key really valid?
If so, trip to windows XP site may help....

If its not a legit Key...well there's your problem.
Hope I dont offend you....But cracked software is illegal mate.

I have no idea whether the software is legit or not. It was pre-installed on a laptop I bought from ebay.

plaese help with activ sync 4.1

I have problems with the MDA pro.
If I will sync the mda with the computer, the computer shout down.
the amusing is the sync with my xda mini is ok, no error or so.
only with syncronisation with that MDA pro get the computer shout down.
which can be for a problem ?

how to setup a bluetooth network between my pc & ppc??

hi guys,
i want to setup a network between my computer and my pocket pc I-mate Jam
i have bluesoliel bluetooth driver & a bluetooth device in my computer
but i don't know how to share my computer files using resco explorer
and i want to know how can i use this network in streming video to my pc
can anyone help please :?: :?: :?:

this is a very good idea. if posssible then one can share files to and from the phone. i havent really tried this ever but i am pretty sure that you have to install some com ports.
the way magicians rom is made does not really allow this, thats what i could figure out, but there must be a tweak or rom hack that allows direct file transfer . is you look closely this action is allowed to a certain leve when using infra red but no to the full.
lets see if we get a reply from one of our wiz ppl about this.

hey im newish to thin forum an am avin some trouble syncing my xperia to my pc.
i am tryin ti add some skins tou wmp an i have read up an it says i need to conect to my pc to do so
problem is i dont know how to connect to the pc the phone i have is a refurbished x1 sent to me by o2 so all i have is the handset an the charger i dont know what cds an other stuff was ment to be in the box
do i need the cd to connect to my pc

you just need to dl activesync of ms's site and connect the x1 to the pc using usb or bluetooth
