Ive wanna to try a upgrade from the romkitchen.
This upgrade to WM2003 SE has failed.
It Says:
Upgrading has failed,
remove the cable,
and perform a normal reset.
I have done a normal reset but its hang on the upgrade screen.
Then ive done a hard-reset and its still on that screen!
Can someone help me??

Froozen SX56 while upgrading the ROM
Unfortunately my system crashed when i was upgrading my ROM this is for a AT&T SX56 Pocket PC which I wanted to unlocked so that I could use it with T-Mobile SIM card. Now the screen says :
Upgrading
It will take about 5 minutes...
I was trying to upgrade it with the xda-developer rom verison.
I dont have any backup also for this device please help and I do have a SD card and SD card reader also.
If the bootloader not be erased, you could still use SD to restore OS.
If the bootloader already damaged, the only solution is hardware solution.

using Xdrit to write the OS to SD card via SD writer.
you can get Xdrit from xda-developers.com (do some search).

I had this stupid RadioStack crash that resulted in GSM ERROR that made my device unable to recharge the battery or run mobile function, so the status now is a ppc which has no phone and should always be conected to AC
when I consulted the Agent service tey claimed it's a motherboard error that would require a new baord, which'll cost me around 300$.

Hey All,
Recenty tried to upgrade by Wallaby using the SD card/Bootloader trick. Cooked a ROM for MW2003 SE and got it onto the SD no problems.
All went through per the instructions and I was happy.
Did a hard reset. Waited 30 seconds and then did another hard reset.
Unit will not boot.
Do a soft reset. Still no boot.
Hold down power and do a soft reset gets me into the boot loader.
So, I have a unit which won't boot.
Any ideas ?

try downgrading to an old 2003 rom ?
I tried about 3-4 different ROMs that I cooked. None worked. Same problem.
All started when I loaded in the T-Mobile update.
Should I try loading the same ROM a few times in a row ?

tried the fix bootloader in the xdatools ?
I have bootloader 5.17 so using the bootloader patch which is working fine per the instructions on this site.
When I load in the T-Mobile ROM, everything is fine although the SD Backup application doesn't work and I can't restore all my backed files.
If I could get SD BAckup to work, Id be happy with the T-Mobile ROM.
When I load in the T-Mobile ROM, the Wallaby Patch loads the ROM and checksum is ok. When I use any other ROM, the unit will not boot and the Wallaby Patch gives me a checksum error.
So, is there another version of SD Loader I could use ?
Oh, and when I try a .EXE ROM, like the 2003 ROM, I get an error about the USB port being closed and I can't get the file to load.
Any ideas there ?

You can try downgrading the bootloader.

I have a big problem with reflashing...I had Win2002 reflashed to 2003 ver 4.02.04 ENG but I have problems with synchro sometimes...I want any other version of Win2003 but I can´t reflashed it because of the error in ProgrammeA...Please help...the SD Card reflash doesn´t work too...
What problem do you get reflashing via SD-Card?
Have you followed the instructions?
What error do you get flashing via exe-file? Is it the standard Error 011?

Yes...it is this error...with the SD Card - I copy with the XDA tools the file to the sd card...but when I make a soft reset to boot it...the XDA show me,that the SD card isn´t formated and if i wish to formate it...I can´t boot the instalation (flashing)
What do you want to do with the Soft reset? You have to enter the bootlaoder. You have to press the power button and stick in the littel hole at the left side at the same time.....

my sp3i is stuck on the WM splashscreen and afther that it just turn off, i'v installed WM5 and then back to the original WM2003SE from imate but after a while it just begun to do that, plz help me.
does any one know how to make a reflashing throw SD? can anyone make a guide? plz helpme to revive my dear phone.

Your phone can be reflashed with Mtty even when it freeze on the boot screen cause its not necesary have the phone ON.
Tried to do a hard reset maybe is a windows registry problem.. after the hard reset the values on registry will be reset to default.
already done that, and doesnt work, even it reflashes through USB but afther reaching 100% the phone restarts and get stuck again in the same place, no matter if I hard Reset or reflash by USB the phone still get freeze.
can any one tell me how to delete all the data on the memory to make a clean reflash? or how do I reupload the firmware? is there a way to recover the phone?
remember I already install the WM5 and back to WM2003SE but after that the problem started, maybe i screw someting wile doing it?
