Hi All,
Have you encountered this weird thing in I-mate PPC while charging instead of climbing up it will discharge the main battery.
I've tried with other batteries but no use it's the main unit that's faulty.
Is there any solution for these problem? :?
Any advice is fully appreciated.
Thanks,
Junie

Hi all, I recently bought a second hand Exec without a battery
I don't want to buy a battery if the unit is faulty (there is a chance) If I plug the charger into the socket all I get is a red light
My question to all you Exec owners is- is this normal or should/will the unit work without the battery present.
Thanks in advance Grez
Hi grez
U need a batery to operate the exec when i take my battery out the same thing happens.
Hope this helps
Hi scotjen1,
To double check, if you remove the main battery and plug the charger in all you get is a red light. The unit will not power on using mains only.
If this is the case I will risk buying a battery.
Thanks for your help.

When the battery of my Universal is more then 50% full it will recharge.
If it falls below 50% it doesn't recharge anymore when I plug in the adapter or PC-USB.
Luckily my father has an Universal too. So I can occasionally recharge my battery in his Universal when I forget to recharge mine. But ofcourse that's not the sollution.
Anybody knows this problem and how to fix it?
Sound like a software problem....
Thanx in advance.
Never heard of that problem, did you try to charge your father's battery in your Universal?
I'll try that this weekend. Than I'll be more certain if it is the battery or the Universel it self.
But in the meanwhile I hope that someone recognizes this and had an answer.
Hi.
I haven't used my old Qtek 9100 for about one year, but now I need it again.
I connected the device to the charger and to the USB cable, but it doesn't power on and it doesn't charge.
I tried with another battery too.
What can I do to solve the problem?
What's happens?
Thank you very much for your help!
Bye.
I had the same problem , search around a bit you will find a thread about jump starting a battery with 3 aa size batteries. Good luck
Hi Folks,
I have quite a big problem and hope that somebody here can maybe help me
Some weeks ago, my HTC Prophet fell into Water.
Now, when I try to charge my Prophet, the Battery DISCHARGES quite fast...
I tried the normal Charging device, as well as charging it with my USB cable and with the charging device in my car...its always the same
I also tried several different batteries (even the ones that didnt fall into water), but no success...
Do you know any solution for my problem besides charging my battery with an external device and not inside my phone?
Maybe a hint, what inside of my phone may be broken? And if it could be repaired?
Thanks alot,
Greetings,
Armitage
Hi there...
First of all I would like to say hello to everybody coz this is my first post here.
My problem about the battery of my ipaq 614c it's really strange; I don't know if it's relative to the upgrade to WM6.5 but since I've done it I can't charge it through both usb and charger when it's turned on. When I connect the cable to the device the orange light only appear for a while without charging it.
Another strangeness is that the battery bar on ipaq is always at 100%..
Anyone's know if it's a battery problem?? What else could it be?
Thanks in advance.
