it seems you are trying to get your Hotmail account into the Outlook inbox ... this can be done through a s/w called pocketHTTP I think ... or you can read it on IE as a normal web site
HTTPMail Provider
The program is called HTTPMail Provider. It's a good one, too.
Yeah, I can fully agree with that
Thanks for your help, great suggestion

XDA Exec remote email with Exchange 2000

Does anyone use an XDA Exec or 'Universal' to retrieve email from an Exchange 2000 server? (Push or pull).
I have created a VPN which works fine but i'm now stuck. Any guidance regarding IMAP & SMTP would be appreciated.
If the handset won't work with Exchange 2000 then is there a 3rd part app that will push email to the unit?
Thanks in adavnce
Craig
If you used to POP3/IMAP and STMP plus VPN, from my experience, it may have some problems on DNS resolve.
I would like to recommend to use the Exchange 2003 to solve the problem. Using sync technical on the email. In the Exchange 2003 SP2, it is support 'Push' technology.

Help with Exchange

I need help getting email from my Exchange Server at work onto my Nexus S.
We have Exchange Server 2003 SP 2. When I try to set it up, it says "Unable to connect to server." I have tried every configuration known to man on my end. I'm positive now the problem lies on the Exchange Server side.
I asked our Exchange admin and he said he would set it up however was needed to let me get my mail on my Nexus, and to just let him know what changes to make. Unfortunately, I haven't a clue what to tell him!
Please advise, and thanks in advance.
Matt
The email address is your default Exchange address ([email protected] or whatever your policy is). Your username is your internal domain prefix backslash your username (domain\jsmith) your password is your regular Windows password.
The server address is your externally accessible Outlook Web Access URL (owa.company.com).
I tell it to use SSL but not accept any old cert. Depends if your OWA box has a real SSL or a homemade one.
This is how our Exchange 2003 works, anyway.
Well it turns out this solved our problem:

Apparently a known issue with Exchange ActiveSync 2003.

n7 and MS Exchange 2003

Hi - I have been trying to get my Nexus 7 working with an Exchange 2003 server and having trouble. Essentially I get a "Waiting for Sync .... your email will appear shortly" and then nothing. I am using the stock email client. Has anyone got similar issues or know how I can solve? I am definitely connected to the server as when I give it incorrect credentials I get a message telling me so.
Phoning Google I didn't get much help! Or my email provider...
Thanks
Spencer.

I've had problems with various systems and my exchange 2003 mail account (windows 8 in particular) - I have an exchange 2010 account that works fine. Not a solution but you're not alone.
Not a solution but I too am having difficulty getting the Nexus 7 working with Exchange 2003. I can sometimes get the Nexus 7 to connect without client SSL certificates but I have had absolutely no luck at all when attempting to use client certs. When attempting to use a client cert I get the following error message:
"Couldn't open connection to server"
I use the exact same settings and cert with my Galaxy Nexus running 4.0.4 ICS and it works fine. I suspect the problem may be some compatibility problem between Jelly Bean and Exchange 2003.
