That's not something that's going to be public knowledge. The board design is proprietary, and Google isn't going to release the schematics.
Why are you trying to put your device in EDL mode?

You used PixelFlasher to do what?
I use PixelFlasher every time I update, and there's no way to "accidentally" brick your phone, you must have done something deliberate

You need to contact @badabing2003 in the PixelFlasher support thread and provide a support zip. This won't help recover your phone but at least we can figure out what went wrong.

@zetgame
Follow what @V0latyle says, submit a support file and I'll take a look.

I'm not going to claim PF is bug free, but this statement without substantiating data is misguided at best.
Support file helps me determine if there is a bug to be fixed.
Or it helps me detect a user error, for which I can add additional checks to warn the user not to proceed, which helps you and others avoid similar mishaps in the future.
It also tells me if there is anything that could be done to salvage your phone.

I don't think PF could brick a device. It would have to be bad images or user error.

More info regarding how you came to the issue would be helpful. What did you do? that can be due to bad recovery.img bad boot.img or kernel while flashing. Tell us little more what happened so we can give you correct info.
At this point, nobody can help you. A fresh device that won't boot correctly, is unrecoverable. Send it to HTC America for warranty repair. Otherwise it's an expensive paperweight.
If the boot loader has not been changed and the stock radio is still the same then I would imagine you can get a warranty service still. By the way, in the video you only let the phone sit on the splash screen for like five seconds or so. Don't know if you have waited longer in the past, just something I wanted to point out.

Definitely not working for any company, and I have developed many Android ROMs and never had this problem. I've been here since 2005, for crying out loud. This is my first Samsung ROM, so I admit to being new there. I will even accept your "stupid idiot" comment, as I guess I deserve it. Although, I wonder why 150 people have downloaded it and only two or three people that I can see have been bricked. Something must connect those with issues. We need to find what it is.
Also, I am happy to pay for the de-bricking of those who are legitimately bricked i.e., followed instructions, have a receipt from JTAG, or whatever it is). Just PM me.

Absolutely. I understand. I have gotten into many messes since i started developing, and know that panic. I just need to know everything you.and the other user who had this problem can tell e about your device so i can find out what the common denominator is. So, confirm it is the wifi and 3g version you are using, and what build you are coming from, if you would. Are you using a sim card? Have you tried pressing power and volume up for a while? Thanks. Also, does your tablet feel hot at all?

Well I used yours as a base, just chopped the usual crap out, resigned, flashed, everything seemed OK. Initiated reboot, bam, doesn't turn on.
Charged all night, tab is hot along left edge, so I'm guessing still charging. 8600.

first we need to get the device powered so maybe remove and return battery could do something?? but how?
any external way to use it throw usb slot while charging ?
I would try pulling the battery but have no idea how to get the case off.
Steve, just wondering out loud whether those who have the hard-brick issue be because there are on pre-production hardware, so they have a slightly different hardware SKU. Hence your ROM does not work for them.

That seems to be the case for one of them. I am not positive about the others. I am having a hard time getting people to just tell me what build they were using prior to the flash...There seem to be 3 people who have had this porblem, and there must be something linking them, although it may be something random. Need to figure it out.

I came from P6800ZSKL2. Dont know if it was from the very first production line, but judging by the quality (i bought three, all with crap displays) they probably were.
Also, i believe the device is on and trying to unpack something because it is indeed warm.
This of course means that there may be hope of getting into download or recovery yet... i will drain it for 34 hours and then attempt to turn it back on.

BTW, his "suggestion" was "incorrect." Still not sure what's up. Will keep posted, and like I said, I'll work something out with JTAG for those who got bricked yesterday and posted about in in the original thread before I responded.

For the record hard bricks on the Exynos 4210 will occur generally in one of 3 ways:
1) Mis-matched boot.bin and sbl.bin
2) Incompatible boot.bin and sbl.bin combo
3) Invalid PIT file flash from an earlier generation TAB or Galaxy S device
Anything else causing a black screen is simply hardware failure.

A warning for all rooters

At the risk of showcasing myself as a total moron, I thought I'd share with you my experience of sheer, unadulterated stupidity before anyone else makes the same mistake.
I've been rooting my Android devices for a long, long time without any problem, until now.
I installed a ROM that didn't agree with my N7100 and needed to get my phone back into a working state. Having only Macs at work meant I had to use Heimdall rather than the Windows-friendly Odin. Heimdall isn't quite as easy to get to grips with and couldn't handle the factory images I was throwing at it, so in a desperate attempt to fix this, I inadvertently deleted all of my EFS data...
...and I hadn't taken a backup.
A local 'backstreet' phone shop couldn't fix it, and Vodafone charged me £100 (as I'd invalided the warranty) to replace the motherboard.
So it's not only a silly mistake to make, it's an expensive one, as this 'experienced' rooter discovered
Whatever you do, never, ever delete, re-partition or reformat the EFS partition on your Galaxy Note II!
You have been warned!

I've seen a lot of efs repair apps, and I don't really see how any of them can possibly work at all. If the efs is deleted, you can't magically return it. That would be the same as having an app recalling a forgotten password without having anything to do with it beforehand.

Yes, it does seem as though screwing up your EFS is a bigger deal than I thought, on account of the fact that the only way they could repair my handset was by replacing the mobo. I tried so many supposed 'fixes' before dropping my handset into the Vodafone store and sadly none of them worked. On the plus side, even though I 'fessed up, the helpful people at Vodafone logged my fault as "device will not reboot" in the hope they didn't spot it was an invalidated warranty job... but they still found out
Anyway, hands up... I'm an idiot!
always backup your EFS folder into external SD card just to be on the safe side

Ok...thank you for sharing the experience...**** happens even to the brilliandest of minds!... I have a crusial question though... I come from the htc side which I now hate for their crappy support and aftersales policy... I had an evo 3d which after a year of pretty much flawless operation started to have serious issues with the display. I had the warranty running, so htc service repaired it for free, changing the mobo! GOD! What happened next?? I couldnt unlock the bootloader (even with their official way) and root my phone! Such a huge dissapointment! SO, my question to you all guys is, if for some reason I got changed my note2 mobo, will I be able to root it again? Thank you all in advance.

Help! How to fix Hard-Bricked Samsung Galaxy S4?

Hard Bricked Phone: A Phone that won't turn on by any means. Booting to the OS or even opening the Custom/Stock recovery or Download Mode simply won't work.
I've searched plenty of forums regarding Android phones that are "Bricked". But it seems to me that most of the instructions laid out by the "replyer" require the phone to be opened up using special combinations of buttons that would either lead to the Custom/Stock recovery mode or the Download mode which is basically a definition of a "Soft Bricked Phone". A phone wherein it would still turn on and simply has problems with how the OS/Kernel/whatever runs.
Problem: I toyed with my Samsung Galaxy S4 in such a way that it would deal with underclocking my phone. I know that underclocking is a risky thing to do. But I was lowering it to the point where My phone would still run stable... until one day it just suddenly gave out. My phone would still turn on but for about 2 seconds and it would turn itself off immediately. That means that even if i was fast enough to go into the download mode or to my Custom Recovery mode, it would still shut off completely as if I pulled my battery out of my phone.
I'm not really in an INSANE need of help to repair my phone, but a good "Fixing a Hard-Bricked Phone is impossible." or something would definitely help as it would give me a sense of peace around all the threads claiming that they can fix such said phones that are in the same working condition as a brick.
thank you for any help.

Yeah, if the device doesn't turn on through any manner of key press combinations, you're pretty much screwed. I assume when you connect the device to the PC you get nothing?
If I use some type of flashing program from my pc that detects my phone on download mode, it sort off detects it for half to a full second until my phone will give in.
Thanks for the reply.

JTAG? As in that Jtag brick repair where in you disassemble the back part of your phone and you have to connect the Riff/Jtag box to the 6 small pins and use a software on the computer to use the "resurrection" button? . Looking at that process, it does make it possible to unbrick insanely bricked phones. However I do need a device for that and a bit of electronic skills in which I have no background on. Not to mention that buying such device almost costs the same as buying another Samsung galaxy s4 from where I come from. Seems like overkill at this point haha.
Thanks for the reply as it did answer my question, but I think I'll try sticking to other possible alternatives if any. :fingers-crossed:
@gobbler6000: Not to mention owning one of those devices is questionable legality, depending on where you are.
To be honest, after five years, it's not worth trying to resurrect a dead S4. Sell it for parts and purchase a newer device. Used devices should be easy to come by, and I'm sure you could get a good bargain that way.

Thanks! It's the hard and cold truth but I guess s4 is definitely not worth the trouble now. I thought I could probably use my old phone without spending a few bucks. I'll just use my 13 year old appeal and lotsa chores to get my parents' appeal for a new phone.
In one way or another, the questions were answered. How do I lock this thread? :fingers-crossed:

You don't. Report the thread to a mod and ask them to close it.

I have faced the same situation once and one of the blog has helped me that I have mentioned below.

Link seems kinda scammy. It's also of no help to the OP. Besides the fact this thread is from last year, the OP's device was hard-bricked. Your link spends most of its bandwidth on soft-brick solutions, devoting only a single paragraph on hard bricks. That one paragraph on the page can be summed up in two words: you're screwed.
