Hi,
I am using HTC Hd2 EU with NexusHD2-JellyBean-4.1.2-CM10 V1.2 NAND + DATAonext. Certificate was installed (SBSCertificate.cer), sync with exchange server worked fine for weeks. Then, suddenly (no other programs installed lately) the certificate was lost. Reinstall of certificate behaved like normal but no sync was performend anymore. Email just said "wait your email is synced" (translated from german) but nothing happend. My exchange admin said, the server says there is something wrong with the certificate.
This happens the second time (last time with V1.1).
What I tried:
- delete the account
- delete and reinstalled the certificate
- update to V1.3 (with no reset)
But only hardware reset helped.
Any ideas?
For me it looks like a bad delete/reinstall routine. Is there a other way to delete the certificate?
Thanks for your help! I don't want to flash my loved HD2 every month.
Would be great if you could give me a hint. Would you expect the problem is located at
1. the rom? Would a other rom help? No CM, not 4.2?
2. bad installation, bad blocks?
3. certificate and/or exchange server?
Thanks!
Some phones lost there time/date and went back to the year 2010... do you have checked this?

Thank for your reply. But, no, time/date is o.k.
Hey folks,
what should I do? My problem seems not common. I guess only few use a ssh connection with a exchange server. As I am a new member I am not allowed to ask this q in the dev section of this forum.
Can some one move my q to the more suitable threat? Or do I have to post 7 time more, so I will get the permission?
Hi, please Android users help me.
I have an N4 with Android 4.3, i installed Pocketmine realms certificate. Know i want to removet. I hace search everywhere and in Config>Security>Trusted Certificates>System or User, i cant find the certificate, i was wondering if the "Removing all certificates" option, involves only user installed certificates or Both Certificates (System-User) I dont want to loose all muy certificates, only Pocket realms.
I'm using this rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2348272&page=335 and i have some problems installing a .p12 certificate.
I already asked on the rom thread but i have a feeling that nobody has this problem so i decided to post this here:
"I'm having problem installing a .p12 wifi cerificate with this rom. After asking the password and which certificate to install (vpn or wifi), right after i click "ok", it says "certificate not installed". I must say that this certificate works perfectly with stock rom (never verified myself but a friend of mine says so) and the problem seems limited to this custom rom. Is there any way to install the wifi certificate correctly on this rom?? Btw i need this cerificate for work so unless there's a workaround i'll have to switch back to stock."
Can anyone help me??
Hello everybody,
I tried to configure a VPN connection on my note 3 (4.4.2; Build KOT49H.H9005XXUENA6) but faced issues with the credential storage. After I set up a pattern (also tried PIN and password) I tried to access the VPN settings again, I was asked for the pattern, after I put it in I was asked again in an endless loop. This also happens when I try to manually install a cert in the security menu where btw "clear certificates" is greyed out too. I looked into /data/misc/keystore, there is an empty folder "user_0" and an (apparently) empty file ".metadata", both 700 and owned by "keystore".
I stumbled accross this posting code[dot]google[dot]com/p/android/issues/detail?id=63768 this is all I could find that is roughly similar to my problem.
Anyone having a solution to this? I need a hero!

ok my problem is with the wifi syncronization , what i mean is tha when i connect to a secured wifi network google should save the wifi configurations so whenever i get to the same place it will not need the password again it will connect automatically.
So it was doing that when i had android 4.3 someday i had to update to 4.4.2 with this update my wifi configurations was lost.
I stored them again but after 1 week they are deleted automatically.
Do you understand me??

There is a thread regading the wifi connection problem

Hope you would get solution there
After a hard-long internet search I've discovered that there's an alternative way in which you can eventually recover the information from google's own servers since that's where your device (or past devices) backups/backed up your data. The following link is a guide to this option.
http://jftr.de/2014/01/fairphone-and-android-backups-to-the-google-cloud/
As a reminder, you're the only one responsible for any possible damages involved when "tinkering" with your phone. Adb and root are necessary, so please refrain yourself from continuing if you don't even know these words!
