Issues with bluetooth calling via Zlink Android Auto - Android Head-Units

I purchased ac8227l android head unit which came with Zlink 5 installed which supports wireless carplay and Android Auto.
It connects just fine but the problem is with calls. As soon as Android Auto is connected, the bluetooth disconnects and the Android Auto only works through the WiFi hotspot that is created by the headunit.
Now the problem is, when I try to make a call or receive a call, the call is routed to my phone's earpiece because bluetooth is not connected.
I tried with wired Android Auto but had the same problem.
I also tried to go into bluetooth settings and manually force connect bluetooth but I get an error saying "Wireless Zlink mode now! Connect bt not permitted". I get this error even with wired connection for some reason.
My Zlink version is 5.3.5 and Android version is 11.

Hello
I have the same problem. My device is AC8257 based.
But contrary to your situation, i can re-establish the Bluetooth manually.
Another issue, the icons are very small and Google assistant does not listen to my voice.
In carplay mode, everything works fine.

bleutooth reconnect

I have a problem wit the bleutooth reconnect with mmy car-kit (VW-RSAP)
Everything works fine, and connection works.
But:
if i get into the car, start it, the connection isn't comming up. What i have to do, is hit the top on/off button, and there it is... the connection is being established. If i'm getting out, shutdown the car, the phone is only trying once to reconnect to the network, and gives a antenna with !-mark. Then i have to go to comm-maneger, en shutdown phone, and reconnect phone.. Than everything is fine..
It looks like the phone is in a too deep sleep to accept the bleutooth connection.
Anyone having this problem, and knowing a work around?
Well I've got also a lot of trouble with my Audi rSAP adapter (Paragon) and the MMI: (Hmm, I'm not allowed to post outgoing links as a new member although I just wanted to post a link to my "SAP connection problem" thread showthread.php?t=720724)
Which profile is used if your HD Mini and the rSAP can establish a working connection? Is it SIM Access Profile or is it a Hands-free connection?
From Audi I learned that not only the rSAP-adapter has a built-in bluetooth interface but the MMI has another one (which is automatically deactivated when the rSAP cradle is installed)!
So when I removed my rSAP cradle, the MMI activated it's own bluetooth interface which can be connected from the HD Mini with Hands-free profile (needed to switch of the car and restart again - just like Windows :->).
The main difference to the Hands-free connection of the rSAP-adapter is that the MMI is able to read out the contacts stored on my HD Mini while the rSAP adapter cannot (in Hands-free mode).
So this is currently the only working option for me until I'll get the SAP connection working (HTC has received some logs from the BT-Handshaking so hopefully they can dig something out).
Cheers, Alf.

BMW android Head Unit NO BLUETOOTH OUTPUT SETTINGS!

Hey all, i bought an android head unit for my bmw and want to pair it with the stock iDrive system so that I can stream everything from the android head unit to the stock system via bluetooth and not aux. Below is the issue i run into when trying to accomplish this.
I dont have a bluetooth section in the android settings. I was given a tip by someone to add a quick settings toggle widget for bluetooth and was able to get the bluetooth settings to come up. Once i did that i cant actually turn bluetooth on. I tap to turn on bluetooth and it doesnt turn on.
I am able to connect my phone to the unit to stream from my phone to the android head unit but thats it. It seems as though there is a bluetooth input but no bluetooth out.
Please help!!!
None of them do. its because it has the bluetooth input. Ive heard of people bricking their units trying to get it to pair for bluetooth output.

Android 12 Head-Unit (UIS8141E) bluetooth disconnects after a second

Hi, I have a head-unit with android 12 and I need to connect the car stereo bluetooth to them.
The problem is that disconnects every time I try to connect.
I do:
Reset bluetooth app
Unpair, pair etc etc
No setting for pairing mode in the head unit (passkey/numeric comparision).
Modified all options under deveolpers setting without luck.
I can connect phone or tablet (with a code), so I think that he cant pair with devices without screen.
is there anybody experiencing the same?
Edit: So I think that the headunit has a sink bluetooth and they can't send sound like the phone, is that correct?
What solution has this?

Zlink5 connection issues

I bought an Android screen for my Mercedes that came with Zlink5 installed. My iPhone 13 automatically connects wirelessly to Carplay with no issues. The problem I'm having is with my wife's iPhone 13. When she gets in the car by herself with her phone it never connects to Carplay. If I go through the pairing again with her phone, then it connects with no issues. The problem with that is that the next time I get in the car by myself then my phone doesn't connect. I tried solving the issue with the seller but they are based in China and there's a language barrier there. The seller thinks I'm trying to connect both phones at the same time as if both phones are in the car at the same time. I've explained it 50 different ways and he still thinks I'm connecting both phones at once.
How exactly does Zlink work? Does it need a Bluetooth connection or does it connect through Wifi? Our phones won't connect until we pair the phones to the screen's BT first and then Zlink connects. If I don't pair the BT then Zlink never connects.

IDoing Headunit Bluetooth Issue

Just installed an idoing headunit on my 2019 WRX. Everything works great, but it seems to have issues saving my phone for Bluetooth. I can initally connect to my phone just fine, android auto wireless works great. But when I go to park my car for more than 10 minutes, it seems to lose my phone as a paired device. When this happens, it won't auto connect, and I have to click the "BT Reset" button in the bluetooth app settings to get my phone to show back up on the "Paired devices" list. Then I can connect to it. Whats weird is if I turn my car off and turn it back on within a couple of minutes, it doesn't lose my phone as a paired device and auto connects. Seems to happen when the car is parked and the head unit is off for more than 10 minutes. Anyone had this issue and have any tips? Thanks
