It seems that the i9100 is being launched in Brazil this week, so it might be possible to obtain a proper Brazilian firmware very soon.

It is not necessary to flash a new ROM to root your phone, only an unsecure kernel.

Insecure kernels http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1101671 (you may use any of them, as you may flash back the original kernel after rooting the device).

You may use S2 Root app instead of SuperOneClick if you wish: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1125414
For me at least, SuperOneClick was very tricky, nevertheless, after 10 trials it worked.

UK ICS ROM Released At Last

Sam Mobile is showing that the UK ICS ROM is now available XEULP4. I flashed the German ROM XXLPY on my UK Note and would like to now flash the UK ROM. I would be most grateful for information about the best and safest way to do that if it is possible.

Samsung just relese a new firmware for our phone Italy (Vodafone) 2012 December Android 2.3.6 I9001BUKPC I9001OMNKP5 : I9001BUKPC_I9001OMNKP5_OMN. Can some one flas and test this rom and see how its run?

Stockroms are always been flashed with Odin.
Germany also got an update in December. Touchwiz bug was still present, so I think same bugs on this stockrom. But I won't test it.

It can be this firmware with fixed TW bug for EU. Which baseband does it have?

TW4 still bugged
The only stock rom with TW4 fixed is ZSKPC for China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, unfortunately only English and Chinese is available as language on such versions.
