Sam Mobile is showing that the UK ICS ROM is now available XEULP4. I flashed the German ROM XXLPY on my UK Note and would like to now flash the UK ROM. I would be most grateful for information about the best and safest way to do that if it is possible.

Stockroms are always been flashed with Odin.
Germany also got an update in December. Touchwiz bug was still present, so I think same bugs on this stockrom. But I won't test it.
It can be this firmware with fixed TW bug for EU. Which baseband does it have?

TW4 still bugged
The only stock rom with TW4 fixed is ZSKPC for China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, unfortunately only English and Chinese is available as language on such versions.

I just received a sms letting me know an official 4.1.2 is now available for my s2 in australia through telstra. Would there be any advantages to using this build as a base for creating a custom ROM? Also good news for people not into flashing custom roms.

BTU is stock unbranded.
VIR is stock with extra carrier bloatware included.
VIR is Virgin Mobile in the UK
Hi all, Im not sure if im posting in the right section, I am new to forumns, I have a samsung galaxy s5 G900F, I am in the UK but cannot get update for lollipop via samsung kies 3 or OTA. All it says is latest updates already installed. My samsung was bought in italy but was unlocked to all networks. My build number is KOT49H.G900FXXU1ANG9, is the reason it is not updating because its from Italy and that I have to wait for Italy to release their update?
Well, yea if your ROM is Italian then you need to wait for the Italian update
Or flash a UK ROM, in which case you might as well flash the stock Lollipop ROM from sammobile or here XDA
Yes, your rom is italian no carrier, in italy for now lolipop was released only for some carrier(Vodafone and H3g)
