I have got the issue with Penguin
After once all done it was start working after a day same no start
Again technician done all but now phone is on but Showing only gsm old sim but no call nothing not reciving not calling
please help me out

My xda2 suddenly can't receive any phone signal from any service provider even after I change to other GSM sim cards. Sometimes it does have it's usual phone signal after a hard reset. But it would only last for less than 1 hour. After that, the phone is basically dead. Anybody experience this problem before?
I brought the unit to xda service center. They offer no solution, suggest me to replace with the new board which cost US$450.
Please comment for those of you having this problem.

I'm after a little advice . My TouchHD was bought through Carphone Warehouse on an Orange contract. It arrived unbranded with no Orange Logo on the back and the regular HTC ROM. To begin with, worked just fine on any SIM card I put in it. Two weeks in and suddenly my o2 sim stopped making or recievibg calls. I got no message about a network lock and the signal strenth meter still shows signal strenth and o2 operator name still appears, it just won't make or take a call. Actually it does randomly make a call then usually ends it in a matter of seconds??
If I place the Orange sim back in everything works as normal so I assume this is some kind of lock that took a while to activate. The question is will this handset unlock simply by me purchasing an unlock code off the 'Net or do I have something odd going on here? I thought a sim lock on the Touch flashed up a warning message of some kind or showed emergency calls only. Mine acts as though everything is fine until I try to take or make a call.
Your advice would be appreciated,

Girlfriend turned her phone on today and found that her phone was unable to pick up service? I thought 2 things simcard is faulty or the mobile network radio is turned off however neither of these fix the issue?
Any suggestions.

Does the screen to input the SIMLock numbers shows up?
Had a similar issue with my phone, a couple reboots and it was good though.

I need some help, but first sorry about my english!
I have a samsung s5 duos, G900MD that i bought original from samsung.
Those days i put a new rom from russia and lost my Imei, the cell phone shows 2 imeis but not the same that have on the back of the phone.
Now only sim 2 works great, sim one get signal, works 3g but i cant make a call, only some times, but most of the time doesnt work.
Some times shows "not registred" and some times the device try to make the call but quicly goes to red and lose the call.
I want to know if have some way to got my imei back, or if have some other fix that i can apply to fix the phone!

I’m not sure if anyone will be able to help but I thought I’d ask. I had my phone replaced under warranty for the volume buttons sticking in and not being able to click them any more. Got the new device in and it wouldn’t activate. It registers the SIM card and goes to no service. I called Verizon and tried to get them to help me activate it and spent 2 hours on the phone with them and tried EVERYTHING they could think of. Entering IMEI numbers, SIM numbers, factory reset, and a new sim card.
In the end they told me that when I turn the phone on the IMEI number they entered changes to a different one from what the phone reports and is failing activation. They had me try a new sim card to make sure the sim wasn’t broken and that still didn’t work. Called Motorola spent a while on the phone with them trying the same things and they agreed it was a rare case and that I would need a second replacement phone.
I received the new (third) phone yesterday and it is having the same problem as the second phone. Won’t activate and when its powered on the IMEI number on the Verizon side is reports something different then what any of the other phones are showing. (so now between the 2 phones I have 4 different IMEIs reported (the assigned 2 the phone shows me and the 2 made up ones that the network switches to when I turn on the phone)
Now Motorola is suggesting another replacement and Verizon has stopped helping me and on my last call they transferred me to the Motorola support number. Has anyone seen anything like this?
Is there anything I can say to help try and get this resolved other than waiting for a fourth phone that may or may not work?
