Hello all,
I am not a professional but still ambitious and would like to solve the existing problem
Since my English is not perfect, I use a translator, sorry if some written is not understandable.
Coming to my problem.
I bought 2 years ago from Aliexpress from a reputable seller an Android. 8227L YT9213A
From the beginning, the device was very slow or lost the GPS data.
original firmware was YT9213A_00009_V001_20200408

before the failed firmware update
As a result, the seller sent me a firmware "xyauto_ui1_9213A_full_8227L_demo-ota-20200517". I copied it to a USB stick (rar file not unzipped) and successfully performed an update via the radio menu "Android Update".
Over time, however, I noticed that the navigation "google maps " always crashed. also lost the gps data.
about the playstore to update the apps brought no success. the problem was in my opinion on the android system,
it was still slow and not fun at all.
I have now contacted the seller again and informed him about the problem.
he sent me a new firmware "gongban_YT9213A_ui1-hw-ota-v6.5.zip".
after some research i found the XY Auto firmware download page.
XYAUTO
file manager
file.xygala.com
there I found exactly the same firmware what the seller sent me.
I copied the firmware zip file to a USB stick and tried again to update the firmware via the radio menu "Android Update".
Unfortunately, an error occurred, I have repeated the process several times. tried different USB sticks but it always came to the same error.
I think that this firmware what the seller is not compatible with my device at all.
I have on the http://file.xygala.com site then a previous firmware and that is
"xyauto_ui1_9213A_full_8227L_demo-ota-20200523.zip" downloaded and copied the USB stick and again through the device menu" Android update" performed.
This time I noticed that it did not come to an update abort. it came the message 1 of 53 apps are updated, but at "23 of 53" it froze and the system was rebooted, then the installation continued "1 of 9 apps" are updated. Finally the message came, "Update complete".
then the system was rebooted but the startup screen froze, the touch did not work. the image distorted and after a few seconds the system was rebooted again. this phenomenon repeated itself again and again. so to say "boot loop effect"?
then i started to research on youtube saw some videos how the firmware was updated with flashtool. i wanted to copy it. I downloaded the "Scatter-loading file" from the firmware folder the seller sent me "gongban_YT9213A_ui1-hw-ota-v6.5.zip" ( but I downloaded the same firmware for PC update from the http://file.xygala.com site
downloaded) and loaded and thus tried to flash. the " preloader " in the first row was not activated. the hook was missing. manually I could not click either.
Then I tried to load the "scatter-loading file" from the previous firmware "xyauto_ui1_9213A_full_8227L_demo-ota-20200523" and flashed " Format All+ Download" it started to load at the bottom of the bar but then came an error message.
So now I think I have made things worse.
Now the screen stays completely black. Android loading process I do not see. I see short flickering but it remains black
The seller only answers when he feels like it and doesn't really help me.
It would be a shame to throw it away. I don't think it's a hardware problem.
Can anyone really help me from afar and give me a tip.
I would follow any instructions and try to revive the device.
thanks in advance and hope someone will help me.
Do you have a 'Preloader' file?
Dont do formatting without 'preloader' file.
You can only do a downloading without this file. I dont know why flashtool even let you do this step without all files included....
Im using this version: sp-flash-tool-v5-2112
Then get the 'preloader file and use with package 'xyauto_ui1_9213A_full_8227L_demo-ota-20200523' you've got. Do format wit all files included/selected.

I purchased the head unit a few days ago and it was working fine. I attempted to root it after having trouble getting media players to detect the external SD card. The root process failed with a parsing error. Ever since then my bluetooth and WiFi will not work. Bluetooth never connects although my phone sees the device. WiFi sits at "Obtaining IP address" indefinitely. I have tried using the physical reset button on the unit, which reset some settings but did not fix the issue. At this point I think my only option is to factory reset with fresh firmware.
The factory reset under "Extra Settings" doesn't work and just stays at a screen with spinning circle saying its performing the reset and to not turn off the device.
Any help appreciated. I cannot find this firmware version anywhere.
Here is the device info:

I was able to get this working. I downloaded the firmware here:
PHP:
https://yadi.sk/d/5vWew_Z_fWotd
Extracted 2 files to root of SD card, went to settings and ran system update. The unit rebooted and ran the update and rebooted again. I then was able to run the factory reset with the password 7890.
I now have a message across the screen "UI unauthorized please contact supplier".
Does anyone know how to remove the message? The unit is working fine regardless.
Looks like I have to root it to remove the message according to the wiki.
I installed Baiduroot and then SuperSU, but SuperSU installation fails.
I don't know how to boot the device into recovery mode. I've tried holding the home and volume buttons together on startup but nothing happens.
Any advice?

Maybe it's the manufacturer's website, try to contact them:

You are probably better off flashing it to a new rom.
I tried copying them to the sd card but the unit is not updating.. Did you rename the files or what exactly did u do

Hello all,
I'm having a weird issue with my Galaxy S5. When I unlock the device I occasionally get a full screen advert that needs to be exited via the top left/right cross (seems to vary) or by accessing the advert.
Back in September I rooted my phone, then decided to un-root due to all my banking apps failing (due to detecting the root).
I re-downloaded the firmware (H3G-G900FXXS1CQD1-20170518173124.zip) -sorry, I can't 100% remember where from - and I'm worrying that the firmware might be dodgy?
When the advert shows if I open the task manager on the phone I can see it's an app called "Internet" with the same logo as the "Samsung Internet" app but with a different name.
Is it just the Samsung Internet app advertising to me or could it be something worse?
I've scanned my phone with various anti virus and anti malware products which have found nothing.
Can anyone help at all? Thanks in advance. I'm not allowed to post screenshots yet but have uploaded them ready for when I meet the requirements.
I honestly may not be one who can provide too much help, however from what it sounds is that it's an malasious app that has "infected" your phone or an app that you have downloaded that is causing this (sadly there are many apps like this now adays). What makes me wonder about the first case listed is the fact that it uses the same symbol with a different name. Could you please list the name for me?
Hello there, the app that shows the advert is called "Internet" with the same logo as the actual "Samsung Internet" app.
St first I thought it was maybe Samsung selling themselves out to allow annoying adverts but now I'm not sure.
Any help is appreciated.
Ah, still think I'm unable to post the pictures or send links until I have >10 posts.
Any ideas on the advert issues?
Yay, looks like I can now post links to pictures.
Here is what I am experiencing:
Sorry about the screen filter
I'd download the firmware package again but from sammobile if you didn't grab it from there last time. No full screen or internet adverts should be displaying on a fresh install.
Alternatively, you can use a custom debloated samsung ROM that may work better on your device.
For me that was the AT&T installed remote control app. When I allowed automatic updates at some point the latest version started showing those adds randomly when I unlocked the phone. Once I downgraded and turned off automatic updates the adds stopped.
Hmm, now I'm concerned about where I got the file. I think there is a possibility it might have been from: https://samsung-firmware.org/ which is now blocked by my antivirus with the quote "blocked a suspected bad URL or an unwanted program."... Concerning.
I must also have downloaded from sammobile at some point as when trying to re-download there it added "(1)" to the end of the file, indicating the exact file exists in my downloads folder.
Here is the version of the files by site:
sammobile.com: G900FXXS1CQD1_G900FH3G1CPJ1_H3G.zip
samsung-firmware.org: H3G-G900FXXS1CQD1-20170518173124.zip
Interesting is that the file from samsung-firmware.org is 1KB larger in file size than the one from sammobile.com

Re-downloaded from sammobile but get a "archive is corrupt" error in WinRAR
Odin MD5 checks out though.
Tried to flash with it anyway using Odin and didn't do a wipe before, after the flash my phone was just the exact same state as before, silly question but is that normal if no wipe is done before the flash?

Flash a firmware without wiping will "upgrade" the existing installation. You'll see the android is upgrading animation. After that, everything should be like how it was before.
In your case, a clean flash is highly recommended.
Hi. I am Rohith. I have recently bought a new Asus zenfone max pro M1. It was in WW-14.2016.1804.252 version firmware. I did not recieve any auto updates after many restart. And then i went to system settings and checked for updates it does not show the latest updates. after few days i called the asus customer care and told my issue they told me that the issue is from the updater server so update it manually. First i downloaded WW-14.2016.1804.305 version and tried to copy the file to phone internal storage it shows a popup that "the device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected". Even i tried to paste it in the memory card the same popup appears. I tried many times and from other computers also. If i try to copy any other file or any other rom version (eg:Version WW-15.2016.1805.309) copies properly. I factory reseted my mobile and copied the WW-14.2016.1804.305 version file but did not copy. I am technically expert in mobiles and computers but this gave me a sick. Then took up the memory card from phone and with the help of the card reader i copied the file and then moved the file to the internal storage with file manager. Then the update notification appeared. I clicked on the notification the phone started updating after few minutes the mobile was rebooting. After the reboot a new notification appeared " Update failed error. reverted back to previous system. I became very angry. I tried downloading the file many times and repeating the process. but end up with same problem. and then finally found that the WW-14.2016.1804.305 version file is corrupted which is downloaded from Asus.com. The rom zip file is damaged or corrupted i am not even able to open the zip file it tells me that the file is of unknown format or damaged. but the other version roms zip file is opening properly. I reported this issue to the customer care but they are not in the situation to hear me. Not only i suffer from this issue many suffer from it. If anyone suffer from the same issue please comment in the comment box. let we all can gather up and make an thread in the asus community. I have submitted the images below .

Asus has already updated to WW-15.2016.1805.309 .. download and keep it in internal storage & you will get System Update file found notification ..

I am on 14.2016.1805.235 and have not had any auto-updates since May. The strange thing is, when I tried the "System Updates", it just spins and just says "checking". It hasn't been able to connect to the server for over a week. I saw a posting on the Asus forum site that the Zenfone 4 Max (what I have) is supposed to update to Oreo in a month or so, maybe they aren't doing anymore updates to Nougat.
Exactly same issue...
Exactly same issue....i wanted to update because the lockscreen was not turning off automatically after 10 seconds (sometimes it would, otherwise it would stay on until lock button was pressed)...Does anyone else have the same issue? It is not fixed as of update Version WW-15.2016.1805.309
Same problem
Hey brother i have same problem in same device, have u got any solution? My phone is restarting duting manual update and not updating, please provide solution
S1.Download the latest package from Asus website
S2.Keep it root directory of internal storage
S3.Reboot
Now it will show"update detected" just proceed as usual and done
Note: if u download 050 (pie) firmware, it wont work.
Pie needs base firmware version 340(last oreo). So u must flash 340 Firmware.
Hey, i would like to know if there is any update that i can do to get android auto / more stability for this head unit
when i open google play it just bug out and crash the app.
and Bluetooth tethering wont work with this as well.
i hope there is some help and info on this because i didn't find something relevant.
TY!

Any news? I have the same unit (with Android 10) and Google Play does not work for me, it does not allow me to enter data, it closes itself
After contacting the seller, I send him a new firmware. Now everything works again: Google Play, Bluetooth ...
My device:
- OS Version KC1C01D6-O01-1.0.4.3.1-BLINK_NETWORK-20191130

Update for our units https://mega.nz/file/A04AQI6I#ZYT_gtVTbIyU80Xpn5budFnh7FNmfeYX1DCtrZqgrHc
2021 update with updated mcu , try the os_update.zip file first , put it on usb then insert it in the head unit , then menu comes up press arrow to update , wait till that updates then if it doesnt work you have to burn the img to sd card then put it in the head unit and power on then it will update then use the update zip, also attached updated mcu, only use if your mcu starts with stm32

I have firmware that looks like yours, and I'm happy with it (despite device limitations). I have not observed in my case any of the problems that you mention.
On the other hand, I would like to ask you if you are rooted. I want to remove some applications from the steering wheel (bluetooth music, AUX, etc) and despite having looked at the firmware and the files of the device from top to bottom, I have not seen if this is possible.

Don't bother, I'm already rooted. I did it by patching the boot.img with Magisk.
My question is if you have investigated how to disable some applications of the device. I have seen for example that the application "misc" is linked to "aux" and to "front camera". And I don't see a way to be able to override "aux" without damaging "misc" (I don't know if I explain myself correctly). In other similar (but not the same) Chinese Allwinner devices, I have seen that they have been able to modify an .xml file that does not exist here ...
Another option is from * MJZ Settings ", but it is password protected (I have tried all the ones I have seen in the forums and none of them work)
compatible with my unit?
I have cheap radio in my car, see picture.
I had small issues and I decided to upload new firmware to it.
I tried to do it from USB, but after that radio starts, android logo appears, then status bar for 1-2 seconds and restart. And over and over...
Then I tried to upload firmware via SP Flash Tool.
Laptop was connected to radio, scatter file choosen, Download mode. Progress bar went to the end, OK mark was shown but... radio doesn't work at all, screen is black, no response.
Now radio is not visible by SP Flash Tool.
Is any chance to bring radio to life?

I assume that the photo on the left is correct, because CPU-Z misidentifies the model of the model YT9216B_00002_V004.
There are a huge number of directories with device variants on the download page, so it is impossible to choose the right file without knowing exactly what it is for a particular device.
Has anyone advised you exactly this file?
Did you contact [email protected] ?
This file worked some time ago (uploaded through actualisationbutton in settings menu).
But I tried to flash radio with SPFlashTool, and now unit is bricked. Thanks a lot for e-mail address, I will write to them.
